Zea casts maximized shocking grasp then steps forward toward the Kyton and strikes at it once to deliver the spell. Missing the first time, she attacks again, striking hard. A massive amount of lightning leaps from her blade the second time, leaving Zea herself injured from it, but striking the Kyton more.

Zea, feeling more confident in battle after her last strike and finally becoming a little less shy, thinks to herself We can do this... we can kill this thing and rescue that woman. My people are counting on me to be a hero. She barks at the hellknights "Get behind her to flank!"

They should be able to do so with a 5 ft step. If they do, +2 to these attack rolls.

Zea concentrates for a second to restore the spell she just spent. Then she attacks again with lightining leaping from her blade.

Zea tries to concentrate to cast her spell but fails. Then she attacks with her blade and manages to strike a significant blow while transferring some residual electricity.

Saul studies her again, and continues to try to strike at weak points. It is tricky going around Zea though... the kyton certainly has cover from his attack.

22 damage + 7 lightning then 20 damage + 8 lighting. Looks like two confirmed crits depending on kyton AC.

"Wha--how!" His spear lays on the ground at his feet, but he can't will his body to pick it up again.

With a growl of frustration, he draws his backup weapon, a masterwork composite longbow, and fires at the commander.

With a 5 ft step, those two should be able to make room for me. I moved them on the map to save time. Please let me know if you'd rather not do such things with our friendly NPCs. Now I'll 5 ft step up.

Zea pours more power into her blade and tries to hit the two dottari in front of her.

Using the last points from my blade's arcane pool to add damage. Then casting arcane mark, 5 ft stepping forward, and using spellstrike+spell combat for two attacks.
