5 is just fine by me. More squashin' per person.

Okay, guys, finally back and coherent and have some time to catch up.

We're mostly done, just dotting the i's and crossing the t's now. I have been really slow finishing up the mission due to real life interfering the last few days.

Silver Crusade

F Human Cleric/1

As someone who just volunteered for real life interference, I absolutely cannot complain. Hope things are resolving positively?

Sorry Tal, I really don't know enough about the faction heads to RP them much. :)

Silver Crusade

F Human Cleric/1

I don't think there's that much information about them, really. Just the blurbs in the Pathfinder Chronicles books and that's about it. Hmm, this is a content gap, something that might well be served by a dedicated book...

Grand Lodge

Oh no worries...I'm just doing some internal dialogue to keep my character interesting.

Liberty's Edge

Fighter 5 (Two-Handed), HP 48/48, AC: 20/T: 13/FF: 17, Perception +1, F: +7/ R: +4/ W: +2, CMB: +8, CMD: 20, Speed: 20, Init: +4

The Pathfider's Field Guide has the most dialogue about them.

Scenario 2 has been reported.

Chronicle sheets are here.

All chronicle sheets will be updated for everyone who completes part 3 with the full prestige rewards.

Ice, if you complete part 3 some other time, please send me a scan (or phone pic or whatever) of a chronicle sheet and I'll increase your rewards for parts 1 and 2 as well. If you pick a faction, let me know and I'll set that as well, since right now everybody but Jake's prestige are marked for Grand Lodge (everyone else will pick at the end of part 3).

I'll try to get part 3 started sometime Monday.

Grand Lodge

Have a safe trip Elie...see you when you get back!

Is Dreng or Torch going to pony (pun intended) up the cash for a sweet ride, or are we using our good 'ol ten toes?

And...what's it cost to make an item Masterwork again - is it 300?

Edit: scratch that; Jake - I think you just did that, and you payed the full purchase price of the MW item, but got back 1/2 of the cost of your original weapon, right?

Liberty's Edge

Fighter 5 (Two-Handed), HP 48/48, AC: 20/T: 13/FF: 17, Perception +1, F: +7/ R: +4/ W: +2, CMB: +8, CMD: 20, Speed: 20, Init: +4

correct!

Thanks!

Got a MW earthbreaker; spending the rest on mundane items

Grand Lodge

Picked up a composite shortbow to take advantage of my STR bonus as well as a cold weather outfit and some rations for the journey through the mountains.

Thinkin' I'm sinkin'; ha!

You keep using Flurry of Blows, but I do not think it does what you think it does.

I wouldn't normally bring this up, but this is PFS, and things are a bit stricter.

Grand Lodge

M Dwarf [AC: 22(26MA); ff 19; T:21] HP=75/75 F +11/R+10/W+15 CMD 31 (32 grapple) Ki 12/12 Monk (Zen Archer)/8 Perc +18/stone +20 Darkvision 60' per strike 8/8 40' move

I found that thread interesting. For the zen archer, I think it is still as written for the zen archer archetype. The Paizo ruling from that thread as written would eliminate zen archers as a viable class.

Zen archer section - flurry of bows works with arrows from your bow. New ruling it counts a two weapon fighting. Both together mean you need four hands to be a zen archer. Kind of crazy.

Grand Lodge

Quote:
There is also the problem of the Zen Archer, which clearly does not work with these rules (or rather, it clearly, as its intent, violates these rules).

Whatever the final ruling winds up being...I think this statement from Jason implies that Zen Archers are an exception to the rule. For now, at least...

Zen Archer rules clearly state that they flurry with a bow. That supercedes any changes that are made to monks.

Jory only recovered 1/2 arrows, hits are not recovereable. Adjusted my profile accordingly.

Headed into Boston for the day...but I'll check in on my phone from time to time. I apologize in advance for any auto-correct shenanigans!

Enjoy! Have fun with the wonderfully winding and confusingly-named streets. :)

LOL...I grew up near Boston so getting around isn't usually a problem for me. (although living in New Hampshire for a few years has dulled my edge a little bit.) Luckily I'll be on foot for most of the day so I won't need to worry about all those one-way streets!

BTW Friday afternoon I will be leaving for a weekend of sea kayak training down at a nuclear-heated lake (no kidding). I might be able to post in the evenings, we shall see.

Very cool! Enjoy!

Enjoy your trip...it sounds amazing!

Do the hides the centaurs provided us with give the bonus for cold weather gear? And they provided enough for everyone, yeah?

Liberty's Edge

Yeah...how about that?

Grand Lodge

Tal has faced a giant spider, a cunning skulk, a band of roving thugs and a giant cat that could peel his face back and screech like a banshee. He came out of each battle virtually unscathed.

Yet, while wrapped in a winter coat and huddled around a burning stove within the shelter of a well built wagon with companions who have decent survival skills, he loses five hit points.

Perhaps I stubbed my toe hopping back in the wagon?

The survivalists were able to scrap together cold weather gear for anyone willing to wear them. The bonus from any form of cold gear including that stacks with the regular bonus from survival that they got everyone as well as bonuses for being in the wagon.

Silver Crusade

Errr. With my ACP I'm going to need to roll a 16 climb check to get up there. :)

Grand Lodge

Male Dwarf Barbarian Armored Hulk / 1

GM Fnord:
Just checking- I didn't roll my last set of saves, but you posted results for me. Did you make my rolls for me? Sorry for being late on this!

Karzak: I missed that you didn't post hours 3-8. The 1d3 for disease onset that I rolled is actually completely seperate from the leeches (OOC, it is from falling and inhaling the miasma). Go ahead and roll your other 6 hours of acrobatics etc.

Silver Crusade

F Human Cleric/1

You can't help me make a save yet because the onset period hasn't passed yet--I don't actually have the disease yet.

... but thank you. :)

Sorry about the long breaks guys. I will try to set the next scene sometime tonight. I realize there's only so much RP you can do when I stop reacting. :)

Grand Lodge

Thanks Tiann!

Who knew I'd be so tasty?

The last PbP PFS level 1 module I was a player in also had a snapjaw, except I think his boss had buffed him or something, because he had an AC of at least 20 and hit a lot harder than this. It almost took us out, and we weren't even debuffed like this.

Grand Lodge

Male Dwarf Barbarian Armored Hulk / 1

I remember him; the mighty magus had to bail you out!

Well, maybe not bail ME out, since I was the Jory of that party, and thus shooting things from comfortably far away. :) But those unlucky melee types were pretty bit up.

Grand Lodge

Male Dwarf Barbarian Armored Hulk / 1

:). We were lucky I didn't end up kiling that other Pathfinder npc; he may be the one that bailed us out

Grand Lodge

Male Dwarf Barbarian Armored Hulk / 1

Just to check b4 I post - did Tal make himself a pair of croc boots?

It is disabled but not dead.

Jory versus bushes, and the bushes are winning :-)

Entangle is a pretty damn badass level 1 spell.

No worries Nestor....continue drinking your tea. We've got this.

While Nester is not completely defenseless, he is lacking in a ranged weapon, and I don't want to deal with GMpcing him in situations where he's arguably useless and you guys are handling things just fine without help. For now, I recommend we just play it off as him not being able to move effectively given his existing mobility issues and the entanglement. He's really intended to be a skillbot for this module, but he's not completely useless in a fight.

Grand Lodge

No worries....Talhaearn was just being a smart ass! He's actually turning out to be a lot more funny than I thought he would be; especially when he's Jory's straight man!
