So does it appear the kobold saw us? And he's still alone as far as we can tell?
Yugatta drops her backpack and sprints across the stream (stepping on the middle rock if it's not immediately apparent that the stream is shallow and clear) to block the kobold's escape.
Full round run at 4x movement.

Zar will move up staying just on the far side of the stream before sending an acid splash at the kobold.

Zar reacts first, sending an acid splash that goes off unfortunately.

Yugatta is able to recognize the trap someone - probably the kobold - laid out, but she has to stop her run.
Meanwhile the kobold opens fire on you with a sling, cursing in his language that you found the trap.

Round 2.

Zar will attempt another acid splash.
Ranged Touch: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19

Hold! There is a trap! I don't see that on the map. Is it in the stream?
Yugatta takes out her sling and aims a bullet at the kobold.

GM Farmagnuðr |

Between being dazed by Mia and the fire from Zar and Yugatta, the kobold does not stand a chance and is dead in an instant. He doesn´t carry anything usefull for you, nor is there something to discover in this part of the cave.
As you travel up the tunnel to the east, you begin to hear the faint sounds of combat and a familiar woman’s voice half-shouting and half-reciting, As the legendary Gregaro Voth successfully battled the wild beasts in the deepest reaches of the Mwangi Expanse, so shall I defeat you, foul servant of Lamashtu!
It seems to be Janira Gavix is engaging the minotaur in combat on the surface after failing to lose the unrelenting creature in the wilderness.
I´m omitting the optional encounter since you still have the end fight and Ser jec seems to have vanished. He also doesn´t reply on personal messages. If he shows up for the last fight he might get a chronicle, else not. Could be difficult without him. One of you or i should run a pregen helping you then, you can choose which one.
The route to the surface leads through a maze of tight passages that include steep ascents and short climbs as they wind from west to east. As you travel, you can hear the sounds of a distant battle echoing through
the caves, intermixed with inspirational tales of famous Pathfinders and the heroic deeds—the raging fight between Janira and the minotaur like it sounds. Janira’s words are sufficiently audible to let you feel encouraged by them.
The light of the surface world above provides a welcome reprieve from the blue and green fungus of the caverns below, and light illuminates a stream whose water is hastened by runoff from a recent storm further up the mountains. A ledge to the west rises up to the nearby forest canopy.
The full moon above casts provides dim light over the entire area, bright enough to illuminate even the shaded leaf litter beneath the trees. Dim Light untill you care to provide something better. The dark green spots on the map are supposed to be trees and there is undergrowth, making that area difficult terrain. If you´re in one square with a tree, you also get partial concealment.
Nearly 100 feet from the cave’s entrance, Janira Gavix is locked in combat with her relentless minotaur foe in a clearing on the southern bank of the stream. Janira shouts: You vile beast! I know not what drives your black heart, but I shall not fail in my duty. I shall see you driven from this forest, back to the hills from whence you came!
You still profit from inspire courage from Janira.

Personally since he was a fighter, I'd say to use the fighter pregen.
Zar grabs the small creature's sling before moving on. Hearing Janira's voice and the power that her words inspire, Zar begins to push himself faster through the tunnels.
"It's Janira. We must be getting back near the surface, but why is she still reciting?"
Upon exiting the cave and seeing the situation, Zar just shakes his head before steeling himself for the fight to come.
"She's been fighting that thing for this entire time. We have to help her. Yugatta if you're willing I can make you the same size as him, but it will take me time."
If Yugatta agrees, Zar will start casting enlarge person. If she takes off before hand, he'll simply try to keep up.

![]() |

Make haste, then, small one. This woman would not avoid helping our leader any longer than possible.
I'd prefer not to, but if nobody else wants to run Valeros I'll do it.

Speaking as someone who was almost killed by rats (dire ones, but still...) in her last adventure, I can confidently assure you that you are absolutely correct. Now, let me at him!

GM Farmagnuðr |

Mia knows that Minotaurs are powerful beasts normaly far beyond your skills. However this one seems fairly exhausted and his axe is not in a good condition.
All of you can also see that Janira might not make it without help.
She seems to have run out of spells and is only wielding a whip.
Still she is bravely reciting verses to encourage herself. You get encourage +1 too on attack and damage. At this point it is expected you intervene in the fight, else Janira might die.

![]() |

"Ah, despite my worries, this overgrown cow looks tired. His axe doesn't look in mint condition either. Normally he'd most certainly wipe the floor with us.
Ok, can't let the little girl die on us. If you're going in i'll do my part. Just try not to die on me would you."

Everyone's actions, in Initiative order:
Janira: Presumably whacking on the Minotaur
Minotaur: Presumably whacking on Janira
Mia: Studying the Minotaur and ???
Valeros: Hey, you bully, leave her alone!
Taking out his shortbow, he looses an arrow to get the beast's attention.
Shortbow: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 6
Yugatta: Getting embiggened by Zar
Zar: Casting Embiggen Enlarge on Yugatta
Do I have all that right? Let the fray begin!
Edit: I forgot the encourage bonus, but clearly it won't matter with that crappy roll.

![]() |

@DM, once I'm embiggened, will I be able to sprint across the stream in time to attack the Minotaur next round?

GM Farmagnuðr |

Valeros is Ser Jec on the map now and you can play him. You got his stats? You can find them for free in the download section somewhere.
The stream is 10 feet wide and the acrobatics DC to jump it is 10. However not at every point you can get a running start, which you need else the DC is 20, due to the difficult terrain. Yugatta i recommend just ready an action and do something after Zar is finished. Also this is the final fight, so no need to save resources now.

![]() |

I'm guessing Yugatta doesn't know enough Spellcraft to know that the spell can be cast up to 30 feet away, so she is waiting next to Zar for the spell. If by some chance she does (or can) know that, she will make a standard movement toward the Minotaur.
Otherwise, she will take out her sling and loose a bullet at it.
Sling: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4 Damage: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Okay, somebody else roll a die. Clearly, I'm not good at it.

![]() |

Heck, I thought enlarge person was a touch spell. Since it's not Zar will have informed you of how far you can be from him, so stay within 30.

![]() |

Yugatta is moving 30 feet then.

![]() |

![]() |

@GM, Valeros' name in my post above is a link to the stats I'm using for him. Let me know if that's incorrect. I'll control him unless somebody else wants to.
BTW, he seems to be working toward the Dashing Swordsman prestige class. :-)

GM Farmagnuðr |

Yugatta´s sling shot goes wide, hitting a tree nearby. Seconds later she suddenly grows large while Zar chants some magic incantations and together with Mia and Valeros she moves forward.
Meanwhile Janira disarms the Minotaur, who immediately takes up his battered axe again.
Round 2. You all still profit from Janira´s inspire courage +1.

![]() |

Completing his spell, Zar moves as fast as his feet will carry him toward the rest of the group. double move

![]() |

Same initiative? Either way, it doesn't change my actions.
Yugatta moves quickly to the minotaur, shouting a wordless roar to distract his attention away from Janira.
Charging if possible (not sure if terrain allows it). If not, I don't think she has enough time to move and attack this round so she'll do a full speed run directly toward the minotaur and attack next round.
Valeros draws his weapons and runs across the log bridge, shouting
Don't be bull-headed! Give up while you can!

![]() |

If it wasn't clear, Valeros is making a full round run move at 4x speed.

![]() |

I thought it would be so. Okay, so full round run (4x speed) over difficult terrain (1/2 speed) gives 60 ft movement for both my characters, I believe. I'll move Valeros accordingly, and as for Yugatta...
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9 This happens every time I use Acrobatics!
Yugatta stumbles through the water, slipping on a loose rock and losing her balance.

GM Farmagnuðr |

You can´t run or charge in difficult terrain.
While all others move towards the fight, Mia begins to conjure something.
Will be there on your turn ready to act on your initiative.
Yugatta tries to jump ovthe river but ends in the streamwhich is 10 feet wide and 5 feet deep in this area. She instantly feels the water is quite rough and cold.
Swim check DC 15 please to move
Valeros seems more clever and goes to climb the log spanning over the stream.
Acrobatics: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (4) - 2 = 2
He slips though and with a splash also ends in the water.
In the meantime, Janira keeps on encouraging herself. She takes something from her belt and throws it against the beast.
Touch Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18
Save Minotaur: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
The bag explodes in sticky glue, which seemingly hinders the minotaur.
The halfling takes a careful step back then, but the angry minotaur follows and swings his axe twice.

Round 3 summup:
Yugatta punches the Minotaur heavily, which was disarmed by janira and hit her with his horn.
Mia healed janira and Zar threw a rope to Valeros, who was able to climb out of the stream on the other side. Valeros now holds the other end of the rope.
