These places are accursed morasses of depravity, nexuses of lingering hate and festering evil that bode ill for the pure-hearted who trespass upon them. Within a well of evil, negative channeled energy is more potent, and good-aligned creatures are more vulnerable against curses, evil spells and the effects of haunts.

Rok takes a running leap from the balcony, landing just onto Dalla with a resounding thud. The paladin's armor is quite strong, but his bite tears into the fallen paladin and keeps hold, shield arm firmly in his maw.

Theodric steps in with bravado after activating his protective item as Magor steps in and further wards Evad.

Vladek brings the library literally crashing in on Ermias, but the shelves and table have little effect on the armored warrior.

Sinuhotep betrays the group, but is brought to his knees by the ever-vigilant tiger as Qadathra moves to strengthen the duelist.

"Destroy that tiger beast first!" Tahari screams.

Tahonikepsu nods stoically then roars as she grows to full dragon size, laughing at the thin-ish elf to her side. "Bookshelves? You fool." She then proceeds to destroy the entirety of the chamber with a blast of unadulterated fury. area in yellow

Tahari considers all her options and rises slightly into the air.

She launches a flaming sphere at Rok, spins and... Need a Reflex save or take fire damage: 3d6 ⇒ (6, 1, 3) = 10

She then fills the room with a poisonous cloud. area in light green, some of you are currently immune, remember this area is like a poisonous fog cloud now

From that breath weapon, can I assume that the sages are going to use their auto-hit simplified rules for this fight? If so that lich will be auto-hitting with his paralyzing attack, that is a problem.

Since the above now happened in the free surprise round for buffs discussed by GM Erich, here is my actions for round 1, which occurred before we all got blasted by the dragon and the super ghost lady and before the animated bookshelves arrived (i.e. not sickened yet and saves against dragon breath will be provided beginning of round 2). Therefore, flanking position with Rok would have been established.

Theodric 5-foot steps to the east to establish flanking with Rok, and proceeds to full-attack, starting with an attempt to disarm Ermias:

@GM Erich: I tried putting the disarmed weapon on the map, but saw you removed it. I was under the impression that a natural 20 on a combat maneuver meant it is successful, same way it works with attack rolls. Apologies if I misunderstood. Please note that due to action reshuffling Theodric's pro vs. evil buff went off in surprise round and the disarming went on in round 1 before spells and breath weapons went off (I believe Ermias was still flat-footed as well, something I did not mention in my post above). Sorry for all the back and forth: I believe initiative order will resume to normal in Round 2+. Thank you for running this incredibly complex scenario!

I think the earlier bless (50 foot burst) would not have reached Rogar because of the wall.

Theo in Dhiara's Mindscape:
Dhiara meditates within a mountain monastery. A young girl pleads for her help as a minotaur gores the child to death. Then the minotaur ages and turns to dust. A king beseeches Dhiara’s assistance as hobgoblins enslave his people. Then knights slay the hobgoblins, and orcs fell the knights in turn, all falling into dust. The world continues in this fashion, the cycle unending. Dhiara seems lost in contemplation.

Without breaking her meditation, she responds. "What is the point of action against the unstoppable flow of time? We will all be dust soon. Better to meet one's fate without unnecessary turmoil."

She needs to be snapped out of her obsession with either combat maneuver checks or Knowledge (history or religion) or Perform (oratory) checks. Or just straight up damage to the monsters in her vision. Each strike counts as a separate "check".

With the anti-paladin firmly in his maw, Rok rakes against his frame, tightening his hold. As the div appears next to him, he reaches out with a claw and grabs hold of a mound of dusty fur.

Theodric and Dhiara open their eyes at the same time. She nods. The topaz colored light floating around Tahari's head suddenly dims.

Magor casts in isolation. Vladek attempts to leave the tenuous situation he found himself in, but is whacked by the dragon as he disappears into the cloud. Qadathra disappears in an instant. The animated furniture continue their harassment.

The lich stands up AOOs, dusts off his robe, steps to the commotion to the north, and casts again, touching him gently. Same spell as before, cast defensively "Kill the tiger, please." He says, regardless of whether the beast can understand.

Tahonikepsu takes flight and rounds around the northern edge of the sanctum, perching on a balcony, and pondering her next move against the Pathfinders.

The cloud drifts to the south, still rife with poison vapors, but affecting only Dhiara. She coughs instinctively. CON damage: 1d4 ⇒ 2

Tahari stares at the monk for a moment, stunned by his brashness. "You are a fool, my dear." She smiles coldly and reaches out to touch him but fails.

@Rok Ah, it is negative energy (per lich), not physical damage. So damage would be eaten up by your Nexus Crystal but still need the save.

@Rogar if you wait for the cloud to disperse so you can see things, it will pass over you and force you to make a save before it dissipates. Just want to make sure you understand that.
