We don´t see them, but you can try to pinpoint them with perception, guess the square and attack that square. If it´s the right one you have a 50% hit chance.

Unless they are invisible, you don't need the Perception Check, the "guessing" for total concealment is the 50% miss chance. Also, the babaus are only immune to electricity and poison, and resistant to everything else. Matteo will probably have to switch to elemental damage soon, other wise he literally has nothing ot do.

Edit: Upon reading the rules for that, i think continual flame doers not cancel the darkness. But i can still get rid of that dim light around it.

Tomoe has darkvision for the next hour and can actually see in the darkness. As long as nobody casts deeper darkness, there is only normal darkness.

A word of caution: Meg is about to die up there and the demons really have no better targets right now. It's not a terrible strategy for someone else to move up there and act like a punching bag for a round to keep Meg alive.
I had a similar situation with a construct that knocked the rogue unconscious and everyone else started to withdraw. I had to remind them that if the construct had no one else to go after its most likely action was to coupe de gras the rogue. So someone else moved up there and voluntarily got beat up to keep the rogue from dying.
I don't want to tell you guys how to play this combat out, but I also don't like killing PCs when I don't have to and these guys are really tearing Meg apart.

Aw crap. I should've stepped in. Also, I should've given my extract of shield to Meg - but I mistakenly thought she already had a shield.
GM, since I took a standard action and a 5-foot step, can I amend my previous turn to include drawing Maaarv's extract of shield from his bandolier?

Jaysin, while a ranged character, is a fighter and would have stepped up in such a noble situation, however he is on death's door as well (2 HP) so he'll continue to fire off arrows.

I don't remember you smiting the other one as well but maybe you did and I missed it (or you could easily have done so with a swift action on your turn). I think you can have multiple smites up at the same time. At least I don't see anything that says you can't.

In the same vein of me messing things up in the combat, I just remembered that babau have sneak attack and should have been doing +2d6 while flanking Meg! GM mistake in your favor so not going to fix that now. Besides, if they started doing sneak attack damage on you I'm sure you would have 5' stepped out of flank right away anyways.

Yeah, this combat is pretty brutal. And there's actually supposed to be a third babau but you guys have the four player adjustment which removes one of them.

I think holy water only damages undead. I could be wrong but I've never seen it used against demons.

I think we're okay. Even if the demon lands all three attacks on Maaarv, he won't quite be dead (but he will be negative) without some critical hits. And I moved far away enough that it can't full attack me. The only thing that really concerns me is what's going on in the darkness. I think a Detect Evil is in order once I get a chance...

My halfling archaeologist started his own Lodge (yep, paid the 50 PP for it and everything). People use it to hang out and watch for my future games, as I generally announce them there ahead of time. I only use public recruitment if the Lodge announcement doesn't fill the game up.
