Ursion readies his shield and draws his longsword and pauses a moment to steady himself. "Keep your eyes open..." he says, and then enters the tomb.

Opening the doors you notice quickly that the tomb has in fact been disturbed and two skeletons now lurk inside.

The two skeletons move up and attack Ursion.

Zariel moves up to attack a skeleton, his blade finding nothing but air as it slices through an empty rib cage. With little room to fight Golarian, Ursion, and Grimjaw can't find space to get in a blow on the undead without trying to maneuver past their defenses.

Rhanloi blasts one of the skeletons with a ray of holy light that causes it to crumble to the floor. Golarian seizes the opportunity to move in further and smash into the remaining skeleton, cracking bones that fly in all directions.

Rhanloi will move in to the crypt, his quarterstaff in hand a ready if needed. He will check for any residual magic and attempt to determine how these skeletons came to be in here and perhaps from where they came. He will then check the crypt for any odd symbols or markings.

A search of the vault’s interior turns up two things of interest. First, a robe lies in a corner that apparently had a number of patches on it that have all been removed. Second, and more disturbing, is the fact that the sarcophagus that contained, the former town priest, Ezakien’s body has been opened and his remains stolen.

Investigate the robe..."I have heard of magic similar to this robe. The patches have some kind of magic, and when you pull the patch off you get an item or object, like a lantern, or a dagger. I sense necromancy from the robe - this must have helped whoever stole the priest's body and raised these skeletons. Does anyone see any tracks leading away from the crypt? The owner of this robe and the body must have gone somewhere..."

After some time the sheriff takes note of you rumaging around in the tomb and watches as the dwarf walks off toward the wall at the edge of the cemetary to the north. He realizes that the remains have been disturbed "By Desna.... who would do such a thing... I'll need to report this to the mayor and Father Zantus at once." He turns to walk off, but then remembers the rest of you "Ah.. thank you again for your assistance. I'll be in touch. Please get some rest, I fear there are much graver things going on than we had expected." He storms off toward the church in a hurry leaving you to your investigation or whatever other tasks you may have.
