Sorry for being absent the past two days everyone! I've been busy with the standard pre-Thanksgiving college work and family stuff. Hopefully no one is disheartened by this turn of events. I will be posting tomorrow since Thanksgiving holiday is now in effect at the college and I should be doing little to no cross-state traveling as well. Thanks everyone for your (Hopefully,) patience!

I'm still here! There was no Internet at the boondocks-ish area we stayed at for the holidays (There was, but it was spotter than a Dalmatian,). Nonetheless I apologize for my absence as I should have anticipated such and prepared accordingly. Logging on to post this quickly because, looking at my student page for my college, Dr.O's finals are do-at-home essays due on Tuesday. I will post tomorrow and try to make 3 posts/day to compensate for my absence.

On a better note, Finals Week(s) are over and I am very pleased! More spare time=more posting, more video games (Leveling up my Monk on D3 more than likely,), more time to read my new books, and more time to be a daydreaming layabout! Just joking about the last one, of course. I'll simply be a lot less busy as opposed to not busy. And maybe I'll FINALLY get around to seeing what fire-grilled bacon tastes like and start working on trying to finish my first 3PP book (Which will be free, so pick it up then unless you're 3PP-phobic, in which case no worries,)! Anyone liking gothic horror stuff will love some of the material!

I've decided to sell or give away all of my video games and systems because they interfere with me doing more important things, like helping other people, getting college work done, ect. There's another, more important reason, but I digress Now, I have games for 360, PS3, X-Box, PS2, GBA, PS1, and GameCube that I'm looking to get rid of.
If anyone is interested, I'll give you one game for free from my massive library of 100+ games and can sell you others pretty dirt cheap. I'll be using the money I make for charitable purposes, so the money won't be wasted if you choose to buy one. Even if you get the free one, though, I'll just ask to be reimbursed the shipping, but I believe that's fair (You can send it after you get the game,).
If anyone is interested, just let me know and I'll compile a list! About the only kind of games I do not own are sports games, because I'm one of those rare few guys who doesn't get into sports, except for fencing!

If you find a cheaper price for one you are interested in on GameStop, let me know and I'll match it! With very few exceptions, my discs are immaculate, with maybe a few specks of dust on them, unless I bought them with scratches. Even those scratched have been buffed so that they play smoothly. I will likely handle actual purchases through E-Bay or something like that so you'll know this is legit. Those only getting a free game will be operating on an honor code: once the game is received, mail back the shipping costs to cover my fees. Ok, anyone wanting, PM now!

I take it (Schedule change,) back. Long story short, following Old Testament Shabbot (Sabbath,) now and for some reason thought that you could not do messaging on Shabbot. Difference between Orthodox and Messianics. Growing up as neither one, I was not sure what the case was!

I am always comfortable, and I mean in the sense of one who is in keeping with each and every Mitvah associated with Shabbos. Shomer has many meanings depending on context and what group you come from. And Halocho is very clear on what is pereve and what is sheqets it is the incorrect rabbinical groups that fail to see the path :P

I suspected as much, but I did not know if you were comfortable outright proclaiming it. I have no problem at all with saying it. As for the Mitzvah, only those Biblically listed. We (Meaning the congregation,) observed all aspects last night after dusk, since it was Shabbot Eve. I have not been able to light candles or eat 3 delicious meals at my home today, however, because we (My family and I,) are dirt poor, unfortunately. I would observe it all if I could though!

I have a question, which has been broached and I feel has merit. Would everyone like to skip the next few days aboard the Wormwood, so to speak? Well, not skip, but cut out so the real adventuring can start? This will undoubtably require player effort to accomplish, assuming everyone wants to be in a good place NPC-wise.
I think I would. By the nature of PbP, it takes longer to get through routine days like that, so it's starting to drag on.
I'm open to ideas for how to move ahead.
I think the best course is to give us pcs two more days to recruit the various species of npc to our banner...
I think the time to work with NPCs and such is important, as is keeping the game moving forward. Balance needs to be found... I'd be fine with just streamlining what happens (once I get out of wherever I am, of course.)
I agree with Variziel. I think a lot of it can be streamlined and basically let us get everything out of the way, then move forward as a zooming rate once it's all done.
I'm here and paying attention but since Jesal isn't one to immediately jump to mutiny, he is staying out of this strange side show for now until he has a better feel for his place.
I'll stay with the slow game or the fast one, whatever works
