Aha! The something larger they were trying to shove in was a corpse. It is not alive. The two civilians you saved are not Ameiko. They are regular workers there.
You try to go down the stairs, carefully. None of you are aware that this staircase existed. This part of the wall is, or at least *was*, sealed off. The locals know of rumors that the beneath the glassworks there used to be a literal smugglers underground, but no one could ever find where it was, though some evidence still remained that it used to operate as such, a few decades ago.
There's no basement in the Alamo!
As you descend down the stairs you see a door in front of you and a hallway going to the left.

Bugsby Featherfoot |

Bugsby descends, some trepidation evident in his movements. Mumbling quietly to himself, "Please let there be no statues, please let there be no statues.". Whispering to the others, perhaps unintentionally, "Lets try the door." His eyes are wide and a bit frantic as he tries to look everywhere.

Brennan Darkblade |

Brennan stealthily moved down the stairs, checking left and right as he moved along. Whispering, he said in a low voice "Door? Very well then. " He checked the hall to the left before moving past to check the door.
perception at the door 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28

As soon as he was sure the door was clear, he opened it and gestured to Kerdin to do the honors.

Brayden Green |

you unlock the door, and see ameiko tied amongst some shelving. She is VERY bruised and battered, and is unresponsive. A closer look will tell you that she is alive, but very badly beaten and unconscious.

Brennan Darkblade |

"Virgil, get in there and see if she's hurt. Kerdin, the goblins are still down here somewhere. Bugsby, see if she knows where they might have gone. Find out how she got here, and who is responsible for all this."

Bugsby Featherfoot |

Bugsby just manages to stifle his cry at seeing the state Ameiko is in, knowing there are probably Goblins about. He hurries over to her side, leaving room for Virgil to work, and begins untying her, using the sharp knife at his belt to do so if the knots prove too stubborn.
Assuming Virgil heals her, and gonna keep going so things keep moving
As her eyelids flutter open, Bugsby can't seem to slow his mouth down, "Ameiko!" He quickly shushes the others, apparently forgetting it was him who was talking too loud. "Ameiko! We don't have time for chit chat, but we're glad you're ok! Can you walk? There are several of your employees hurt but alive upstairs, some not so lucky. There are at least two more goblins in this extremely interesting secret basement you have here..." His eyes started to wander the walls at that last bit and he shakes his head to refocus on the matter at hand, "Can you tell us where they might be, or how many there are? Also who did this to you? and anything else we might need to know." He takes her hand, "Your employees need your help, and we'll want the whole factory cleared out. Can you go up and out and get the guard? We'll keep up the search here," His eyes get very dark, and his voice is cold, "We've got some thingies to destroy."
He makes sure to tell her to leave the way they came in, and which route that is.

Brayden Green |

Waiting for Ameiko to be healed, either by potion or healer's touch.

Virgil Longstreet |

Virgil leans down and places a hand on Ameiko's shoulder. He grips his holy symbol and intones reverently. "Fides tua salvam vultis."

Ameiko is jealous... Sounds like someone else might be.

Brayden Green |

Ameiko wakes up, and seeing some of your faces huddled around, says confusedly "What can I get for you boys? Another round? This one's on the house!" She then blinks a few times, notices the shelving around her and says "Where...?"
Suddenly her eyes go WIDE open, and she says "Tsuto!"
Looking around more, she says "Tsuto was here! He...had the goblins beat me up when I refused to join him. After what he did... to father... I did not speak much with him, as he became a different person after my mother's death... and he was always hostile, all the time. But he didn't deserve to go that way. Noone does. " She shudders.

Virgil Longstreet |

Virgil places a comforting hand on Ameiko's shoulder. "We suspected that was your father. He has passed now, and is no longer in pain. It is your broter, Tsuto, who is behind the goblin tribes? Why is he doing this? Is he working with anyone else? Where has he gone now? We may still be able to stop him from doing whatever he has planned."

Yo mamma? :D
Bugsby looks appropriately shocked and concerned.

I do not know if he is still here, or not. He obviously cannot stay in the town if I am alive, for I know what he has done here. I know he was in command of the goblins that did this to me. He mentioned that some very terrible things were going to happen to Sandpoint... 'Sandpoint will get what is coming to it, very soon' he had said. Things I wouldn't want to be here for, and that I should come with him and join the cause. But I can't you see. This is my home, and I love it. Having seen a good portion of the known world, I know where my home is, and I will protect it against anything bad happening to it.
Just as she finishes talking you hear some shuffling noises coming from the hallway.
"Give me a sword!" She says.

Bugsby Featherfoot |

Bugsby listens, mouth agape, as the truth comes out. He begins nodding along with her words as she explains her love for this place he too has gained strong affinity for, but whirls as shuffling sounds emit from down the hallway. He pulls his knife and holds it out to her, hilt first, without taking his eyes away from the approaching sound, knowing that other weapons may get offered that suit her better. He opens himself to his gift and begins pulling magic close, ready for whatever emerges.
Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15

Kerdin |

Argh, no! Do na give da knife for her. Enough with da saving her and now she wants to fight? Just leave dat for us and go back. People would da cry for her if something would gon´ happen to her. Kerdin speaks fast as he tries to listen what is coming
Perception 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13

Bugsby Featherfoot |

Bugsby jumped badly as Kerdins loud voice rang out, and he looked over at him, not comprehending for a second, then looks down at the knife in his hand. Realizing was the dwarf was on about he snatched his hand back against his side, giving Ameiko an accusing glare.

Brennan Darkblade |

Brennan pulled a knife from somewhere and threw it into the doorjamb. "Would you have her be defenseless if a goblin makes its way past us? Take the knife. It's not a sword, but then you might be less inclined to go charging in and ruin the dwarf's day, eh?"
Brennan is down to 4 knives on his person. And his knife is sized right for Ameiko

Iodem Toby |

"If the lady prefers this, let her profess."
Iodem pulls a sawback short sword from a sheath on his belt. Holding it with two fingers on the flats of the blade he stands next to Brennan and presents it hilt facing her.

Brayden Green |

Shuffling sounds were *not* approaching.
Ameiko grabs both the weapons, and says, Thanks boys. Maybe I can use either of these, or both, depending on the situation. Well, I've got a grudge to settle. Tsuto is a good fighter, I suggest that we all keep on our toes, and don't let him corner you.

Bugsby Featherfoot |

Let's go, same marching order as we've had, let's see if Ameiko will go with my suggestion.
Bugsby looks taken aback at the fierce look in Ameiko's eyes, but nods at her advice, "Uhh, yes'm. Perhaps you can take rearguard with Iodem to help Virgil and I... uhh, avoid corners?" You get the feeling Virgil may have been a hasty addition to that thought. "Will you lead on Brennan, and use caution!" Bugsby still holds tight to his gift as they start down the hallway towards the shuffling sounds.

Brennan Darkblade |

Brennan did take point, with Kerdin at his side. He wasn't thrilled about having the noisy dwarf with him, but it wasn't as if the goblins didn't know they were here. Caution was the watchword at the moment. Caution and readiness.

So you all make an unpleasant amount of noise getting to the door.
You can hear shuffling inside. I'm going to have you guys roll for INIT, if you are ready to bust in, that is.

Hey they said there would be internet available :(
Ben Kenobi said, "Who is the bigger fool? The fool, or the fool who follows him?"... I really justed wanted to use that line.
