Brennan Darkblade
Brennan immediately ducks low and cautiously moves out of sight and to where he can support the others. This was going to come to a head real fast, and he wanted to be ready. Dirk and Stalker argued briefly about who was to take charge, with Stalker winning out. The blade stayed in Brennan's hand and he moved forward ever so quietly.

As Bugsby takes in the scene he gasps, but it's all but inaudible with the roar of the furnace. Goblins run everywhere, and as he takes in the glass covered figure in the chair and another larger 'something' being stuffed into a furnace, his mind can hardly make sense of it all. All he can do is lift his arm limply, pointing at the goblins trying to shove something large into the hot furnace.
Kerdin
Seeing goblins Kerdin moves little bit sideway to give room for others to sneak in and when ready charges goblin who is not being attacked

k your actions are noted, I will post the results, and give Virgil a little time to jump in on the fun.

A mean, ugly look crosses Virgil's face. "Excuse me." The priest of Abadar walks briskly into the center of the room. "Goblins!" He grasps the holy symbol hanging around his neck. "Sentire tenaci damnationem!" A rapidly expanding bubble of crackling black energy erupts from the holy symbol, filling most of the room and washing over the capering goblins.
Move as close as possible without drawing an AoO. Channel energy, 1d6 ⇒ 6 damage within 30', Will DC 18 for half damage. Use Selective Channeling to exclude party members and possibly alive non-goblins.

Virgil and Brennan: I need your stats to the top of your character like the rest have. Kerdin, I need your attacks up there. Thanks. Too hard to go digging for stats for mult people.
Virgil only, don't comment or volunteer meta, or you'll sit out the combat :)

Just an idea - It might be a good idea to post maps to the Campaign Info section. That way we don't have to dig through old posts to find a map for tactical questions. I find it helpful in other games.
I guess I will let Kerdin take the hit. He has the most hp and I can patch him up afterward.
Brayden Green
That seems like a good idea. Will that be helpful or better to anyone else? Slightly more work for me if I have to post in both locales, but I'll do it if it helps.
Would you like the ground people to take the hit? You have 7 targets that are alive in your radius (if you charge all the way up) and you can only exclude 4.
Brayden Green
Is there even a map up yet? If there is I must have missed it. I hope this comment doesn't disqualify me from posting this combat! Heil Brayden! ;)
I'm making a map of the combat currently, I was figuring you'd all try and sneak in, or surround them or something. Didn't expect a kamikaze explosion, lol.

I didn't mean a round-by-round map. I just meant posting the static Glassworks map to the Campaign Info page.
Brayden Green
And killed 2 hostages!
Which, I need you to make a decision on, btw. You would have gotten close enough to realize they were alive before you blasted off.
Brayden Green
I know, which is why I am giving you this information and stressing that you make a decision one way or the other, rather than declaring you an outright murderer. ;)
Virgil Longstreet
Well, rather than murder innocent townsfolk, I guess I'll change my actions. :)
Virgil takes a step back, then removes his crossbow from his back, newly acquired from Lord Foxglove, and fires at the nearest goblin.
5-foot step to the NW. Target nearest goblin between furnace and table to the SE.

There is a figure in a chair, with what looks like liquid goo all over him. Other goblins are pouring hot liquid on unresponsive bodies trying to duplicate the "glass statue" in the middle. It doesn't take much imagination to know that is Lonjiku Kaijitsu with sheets and sheets of hardening glass poured over him.
They still don't notice you, as much fun as they are having.
It is Lonjiku that has glass all over him, not the other bodies. The goblins either don't know how to operate the machinery, or they are afraid to, and so they are resolute to heat up glass mixture base using handheld tongs to pour it on the "unresponsive" bodies.

Gotcha. I thought they were mid-pour as opposed to just preparing to pour it on them.
Brayden Green
Still going with the surprise, and I'll still use your earlier actions. Gonna compute them a little later. Sorry, this is a big battle, and my prego wife is sick today, so it might look like I am neglecting things, I'm not, just doing behind the scenes work, like a ninja :)
Kerdin

No worries, definitely will. I'm not going to throw away an "18" :)
Bugsby Featherfoot
As the heroes burst into action Bugsby can't help himself and lets out a loud cry of excitement, "Eeeaahaaah!" before moving forward, pulling lines of magic to him as he goes.
Move closer, trying to get a clear line of sight at one or both of the goblins at the far end of the room. If I counted right I think I can take a five foot step and be within 100' (casting range) Cast Sleep, catching both goblins. Just move me wherever, I can't get far! :)
Iodem Toby
After felling his first enemy Iodem calmly walks forward drawing another arrow and launching it at another goblin.
Ending behind Kerdin's current position, attacking the 4th goblin counting away from Iodem.

Brennan Darkblade
Completely not sure if Brennan is still "sneaking" or not by the time his turn comes around. It kind of affects what I can do.
Brennan kept his head down as he stalked towards the goblins. With the others yelling and jumping about, it should be relatively easy to get in close with his blades.
Trying to sneak attack if I am still hidden. Kind of hard to tell on this one. If not, then flanking would do.
attack 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
damage 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7 + 1d8 ⇒ 7 SA
Brayden Green
Brennan, whether or not you are sneaking depends on if the goblin notices you, or even acts before you. I put you in position, but I am going to give the gobby a roll to beat your hide on it's turn. I'll get your sneak dmg, or flank you, depending on how the rolls work out. I put you in position for either/or, like a good GM would :)
You are currently still sneaking
Brayden Green
I'll roll for Zen since Kerdin has given me his actions.
The goblin in front of Brennan, oblivious to him standing in the shadows goes for Kerdin, giving Brennan an attack of opportunity. 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16. Brennan stabs a knife into the back of his neck, effectively dropping it, never knowing what hit it.
A goblin stops drizzling liquid on a body as it notices Brennan sticking a knife into one of the others. It rushes over and tries to splash him with hot liquid glass, missing him. Touch attack 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (12) - 2 = 10
One of the goblins at the end of the long corridor runs away. down what looks like a set of stairs?
After felling his first enemy Iodem calmly walks forward drawing another arrow and launching it at another goblin. Ending behind Kerdin's current position, He launches an arrow and it lodges expertly in it's collarbone, though it still stands.
As the heroes burst into action Bugsby can't help himself and lets out a loud cry of excitement, "Eeeaahaaah!" before moving forward, pulling lines of magic to him as he goes. A glowing ball of goo shoots out of his hands and races towards one of the goblins, sizzling into it, and covering and spreading on the goblin until it can't move.
Kerdin will literally chop the goblin in front of him in half. Sheesh!
Virgil, seeing Iodem shoot and injure a goblin, prepares his crossbow and fires at the staggering evil little creature. He hits it square in the chest and drops it.
2 more goblins turn and flee downstairs.
There are no more enemies present
Brennan Darkblade
Brennan rushed to the edge of the stairs and peered down, trying to see what might be waiting them below. The dagger in his hand dripped red as he held it to his side.
Move to the stairwell without exposing myself. Double move if necessary.

Bugsby gives a small cheer as the goblin he'd aimed at was stuck fast in goo. But then looks worriedly at the prone forms in the room. He moves forward towards the 'something' that was almost stuffed into a furnace, passing the other prone forms and the glass covered form in the chair, "Well done people! he gestures dismissively towards the stuck goblin, "Can anyone question that thing?"
Arriving at the far 'thingy' he drags it away from the furnace and checks to see what it is, trying to also keep an eye on the exit the two goblins took. He's comforted at the sight of Brennan standing ready at the top of the stairs.
Brayden Green
THey are alive, but only just barely. It seems like a few of them have been tortured into shock, either from pain, or watching the craziness that ensued.
The stairs go down, you can't see or hear anything, at this point.
Bugsby Featherfoot
If no one does so in a timely manner Bugsby will knock out the entangled goblin. if I missed something and the goblin is dead then disregard. Otherwise please roll some nonlethal for me please gm. Thanks!
Brayden Green
Is the object Bugsby found a person or anything of interest!? I've been thinking that could be Ameiko for over 24 hours! :)
Not sure what thingy you are talking about here.
The goblin is dead.

Not sure what thingy you are talking about here.
The goblin is dead.
Are you going to cure people, or just stabilize and move on?
Bugsby Featherfoot
I am referring to:
You see several goblins running around, throwing things into the furnace. A few appear to be shoving something a little larger into the furnaces. You hear wicked shrieks of delight and laughter.
Emphasis added by me. I've been worried that the 'something a little larger' was a humanoid and I assumed the two goblins at the end (who ran away) were the ones that sentence was referring to. I take it the Goblin that Bugsby used the photoplasm spell on is dead, and that the 'something larger' wasn't anything of interest? Also, are any of the prone bodies Ameiko and, if not, do we know any of them?
Bugsby looks to Virgil, "Will they live?" Assuming an affirmative response He casts a worried look down the stairs, "That was fun, but there are more goblins and we still haven't found Ameiko. We can come back for these folks after we make sure there aren't more being tortured by the little thingys! Brennan, Kerdin, Zen, will you lead the way?" Bugsby starts moving towards the stairs.
If the people are stabalized, let's move on. Same marching order and safety measures in place.
