They can barely make out the zipping cart through the mine shaft as they whip around.

Alie launches a fireball down the corridor. The woman deftly avoids the wrath of the flames however her men aren't as lucky. The driver catches on fire and begin to freak out, tumbling over the front of the cart and being run over by the hefty metal contraption.

His neck is severed in several locations and his body is mangled by the trampling. The other guy is incinerated on the spot, looking like something from a film about a search for a holy drinking vessel.

You hear loud screeching ahead, like the woman is pulling on the brake.

Sorry if the mine cart chase was a bust, it was supposed to be fun, but it's kind of hard to convey in PbP, I think.
Jaggar speeds up the cart once more, trying to reach the end of the tracks as soon as possible.

Actually, I can just wrap this up.
It takes the group about 30 more seconds to reach the end of the rails. The woman's cart appears abandoned and two charred corpses lay attached to the controls.
A Scroll of Transmute Rock to Mud and a wayfinder lay on the ground just outside the cart, likely dropped by the woman.
Towering buildings and forgotten architecture fill the skyline hidden deep within the rocky pillar. Cramped and decaying columns line avenues and market squares, representing only a fragment of their former glory. Dark shadows play amidst the flickers of light that rain from the chasm opening above.
After your hectic chase, you reach the bottom of the rail system and enter into the ruins of Rachikan from the north.

"Well... that was interesting." Mathais says as he grimaces and leaves the cart. "Where have we found ourselves now?"
Mathais looks around at the city wondering where they've managed to land themselves.

Mathais sees a large stone statue that looks pretty damaged between two buildings just up ahead. The ambient light in the place seems to emanate from lumenescent globes situated like streetlamps up and down the "roads". It appears that they are in the northern sections of the Rachikan ruins and that the female magic wielder has run off.
