Yeah, 2 nat 1's suck ... (I think that's what happens whenever I play with you, the paizo dice gods hate me. (Maybe they're angry at Giradoux and Rowles, but I thought they took their revenge with Sterling...)) and I did forget the -2 to damage :( (I did calculate the -2 on attack rolls, tho (bane canceled it out :P)

Also I noticed my wording for Weapon Master is a little funky, I have 10 rounds of the Step Up feat active, starting this turn. (Horray feats on demand!) (Note: Bane remains active until I turn it off, same as Judgements & Weapon Master :D)

Maaarv heals up from his wounds while Jarlgur zig-zags through the air to approach the wounded pair valiantly fighting the erinyes. Maaarv follows suit as soon as he has healed himself slightly.

Jaggar, finally able to seize the moment, rushes the devil and slashes at her with his polearm. He brings her nearly to her death with a single stroke.

And to wrap this up!

The erinyes devil, recognizing the depth of her wounds, sneers at Maaarv. "Tell Narvik that I will find him..." With that she flutters back 5' and begins to disappear, but not before Mathais follows her and swings wildly at her in his divine fury.

Longsword: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (5) + 15 = 20

The blow doesn't do any damage however it surprises her and she loses her grip on her Flaming +1 Composite Longbow (+5) as the blade slams into her hand before she disappears.

Congrats you win possibly the toughest fight I can run!

The bow string catches on Jaggar's polearm before it falls to the ocean below and the group is able to fly up to the top of the plateau to regroup and heal.

Arriving atop the pillar’s plateau, a plume of thick, black smoke chokes out the horizon to the north. Sounds of clanking, banging, and chanting echo in the distance. Many emaciated figures in ragged clothing work furiously around a large wooden building. A single patrol of armed men direct the camp’s activity. They do not notice you.

Mathais mutters a curse as he pulls out his Wand of Cure Light Wounds and starts tapping himself with it repeatedly.

If that is infernal healing, then no - it is not on the alchemist list. My UMD mod is only +5. I'd be happy to give it a try.

The plume of thick, black smoke comes from a makeshift camp about a half-mile from the edge of the plateau. The camp is a series of orderly but run-down tents surrounding a single large wooden building from which the smoke emanates.

Approaching the camp, you notice 20 slaves buzzing about, erecting tents, working on the wooden building, and doing many other smaller tasks. A single patrol of armed guards secures the campsite.

With no obstacles to hide behind (the plateau is flat and void of vegetation), the guards simply see you approaching.

"Halt! This is private property!" says a tall, Keleshite man in chainmail and an armored kilt. "State your business, otherwise get lost." The four other guards fan out around the group in a semi-circle, weapons drawn and lowered, but not threatened to harm you provided they hear the right answer.

I'm unsure if My judgement doubles with vital strike, if so, add 4 to damage


@Mathais: Can't ready two actions, also Vital Strike only doubles the dice, not any static modifiers.
