DM Dr Evil here. Okay that I am coming with Orik instead of Graz? Both are level 4 fighters, but Graz just got in a Liberty's Edge scenario with EF. Hope the PC change is okay, since the class and level stay the same.

PFS 75247-2
NO Day Job
Initiative +2
Perception +5 (+2 more for unusual stonework)

Orik is a Shielded Fighter, and as such as access to some shield based feats, including Saving Shield, which allows him (as an immediate action) to use his shield to offer a +2 to an adjacent ally's AC. May use this in the game from time to time, and just wanted you to be aware on the front end.

Definitely ok!

Things to know: Rhuul is a Flagbearer (gives a bonus to hit and damage for everyone - but won't stack with a bless spell) - so clerics, don't bother memorising bless.

As I said to GM BS, Shamak is currently finishing an adventure (we are fighting he final boss). Hope it doesn't take too long! If it does, I have a cleric 1 that can play as a support.

It occurs to me that we could get some great skill bonuses (e.g. for that Survival roll) with two bards inspiring competence. Not sure if any are good in this situation--whatever is in that darkness will just attack, so one person sneaking/acrobatting up won't do much good.

Did we end up playing high tier?
1d6 con damage for six rounds is a killer!

I think it is because all vipers in D&D do 1d6 Con damage with their poison.

Since there are no small vipers in the PFSRD, I had to use the Small Viper from the SRD which has vastly different stats.

Silver Crusade

There is a generic venomous snake entry.

Venomous Snake

It doesn't specifically mention Vipers though. This one only does 1d2 con damage.

Under 3.5 poison damage typically only happens twice, one initially and once on the secondary affect. In PF it lasts longer, but each iteration is typically smaller.

End of the day your call as the GM.

True, but that is a Medium-sized creature. If I can't find something that fits Small Viper, then I think I have to do the SRD one. But! I didn't know that poison was different in 3.5. Never played it. This poison will only hit you once more, then (provided you fail the save).

This last encounter is crazy. Time limited encounter with opponents that can go invisible at will and move incredibly fast, while at the same time having our own limited movement hindered.

Folks, I'm at a loss here. I can whip the air in a few places, but I don't have anything that affects an area like a web or glitterdust, being a mere martial. Entangle will prevent us from doing a sweep. Does anyone have a darkness ability to keep the sun away? Can we summon something with scent? Fireball the whole area?

If the Atomie turned invisible last round, it can't be more than 10' from the starting square, so dropping a glitterdust on it this round would still outline it.

That is, I think this is the second round. So invisible and 5' on round one, and the it 5' steps the second round. I'm a little unsure of exactly how that works with respect to our initiative, if this is the third round, maybe it can have moved 15' Drat, should have thought of it last round. PRobably means taking a punt on it moving away from us as it is blind.

Or us tricking it somehow. That Rhuul may be able to help with, he has a good bluff due to his perform-comedy and versitile performance.

And what a time for a 20.

Grand Lodge

M Dwarf 5 Fighter HP 49/49; AC 22/11/21; F+7, R+4, W+2* | Init +2 | Percept +6* | SM +0 |

At some point your just going to have to throw glitterdust out there and hope for the best. Orik has nothing that can help here, but once the fey are outlined he can go to whaling on them.

Hopefully, Rhuul's comedy routine will provoke him into something.

Actually that was another Tide mission if I remember correctly.

Some fort saves to try and overcome the disease. If a stat drops below 7 he'll pay coin for a healer (or if it looks like stat damage is more than 1d6)

fort: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13
fort: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13
fort: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14
