This campaign has already went through it's recruitment, so only the selected should be posting their information below. Before we get started, those who have not played with me, please take some time to read at my profile for gaming expectations!
Name:
Character Name and levels:
PFS id:
Faction:
Day job:
(If you roll I assume you forgo the opportunity for faction goals that requires you to skip day job)
With regards to the scenario, since it is a season 0-1 scenario written for 4 players, I'm hoping we have a mid tier group so we can play it at tier 3-4 where it'll be a bit more challenging and not so much a walk in the park. But if we don't it's fine as well.
Gameplay thread is already open, so if you'd like you can start posting in! We'll begin immediately when everyone has posted.

Looks like we're waiting on Mun. Will give him a buzzcall.
I'm happy with the party make up of 5,3,3 2,2 for sub tier 3-4, granted that the rest are okay as well.
Alternatively we can all go back to tier 1-2 if the majority wishes it. I'm relaxed about this, it's up to the group's preference.

Sorry I'm late!
Name: Zin Z'arin
Character Name and levels: Mun of Ashava, Oracle 3
PFS id: 192785-1
Faction: Silver Crusade
Day job: Check with me at the end; I may want to go for a faction goal if I'm unable to earn one as a result of gameplay within the story
I am happy with subtier 3-4 (but, why wouldn't I be? Mun is level 3)

Hi! Thanksgiving and its weekend have me busier than I expected. I will return to all of my games Sunday PM or Monday. Please bot me if needed!

![]() |

Hey all, I need to apologize upfront. I have my weekly Thursday night AP GM session coming up. While it usually does not interfere with my PBP games, due to a recent food poisoning, and work-training this week, I've found myself backlogged in prepping for it.
As a result, I will have limited to no updates on my games from here on until Friday morning (Malaysia). I expect things to be back to normal immediately on Friday as it is a public holiday here.

We may have skipped a clue. Or there was a miscommunication.
The cultist painted the statue on the wall then brought it into the light for us to see.
Batpony mentioned "Looking around, you also notice that on each painting, there is a resemblance of the moon iconography represented. The ones on the floor, and the two beautifully drawn ones next to the recently painted one."
And we looked at the 2 drawn next to the new one. Was there moon iconography in the statue painting as well or did we forget to ask to see one that was on the floor?

![]() |

You have all the clues, and the three paintings are the key ones, it's not that obvious on the first painting but here's where it should have been picked up..
"Beneath her feet is a set of smashed scales, and her robe is decorated with pale moons. And her face is as cold and uncaring as the moon."
So it was assumed that he painted the painting in that similar manner, with the moon iconographies on her robe.. And the knowledge check that followed should have pointed that out.
Second Kn. Religion DC18: The moon iconography in the painting belongs to that of Groetus.
Sorry bout that, I just realised the text used to describe the painting from the scenario does not clearly depict the moon iconography. In my other two scenarios, those who made the Kn. check made reference to the moon when explaining it to the group, in this case Harry did make the check but didn't explicitly point out the moon but reference Groetus instead.
The paintings on the floor did not bear any significance in the scenario, so if no one asked about it, I didn't make it a point to reveal what it was. But in case you were curious, it was crude resemblances of the moon, all of them.

I notice that Mun has signed up for the Shifty's Special.
While we will be comfortably finishing the first scenario by then, the second scenario will likely take us through the end of January by my current estimation.
Is anyone else planning to play their current character in the upcoming special?

![]() |

Oops, that's my bad. I always seem to forget when I have a PC in a multi-scenario game. I will switch and play a different PC in the special; Mun is committed here.

![]() |

This is a heads-up that I am starting a new job on Monday. Until I have a handle on the culture and internet policies there, I won't be doing any posting from work; this will likely result in a slightly slower posting rate from me. I will do my best to keep things going, but don't hesitate to bot me if I am holding things up.

![]() |

Marius has been absent for a while. Does anybody bot him for his and Curze's turn? Else i'll put him on delay. I don't feel comfortably botting too many player character actions.

![]() |

I prefer not to bot other players, and prefer that only the GM bot me. I have no objection, however, if someone else wants to step up.

![]() |

Have you sent him a PM? Sometimes the forum will do weird things that prevent you from seeing a thread or it won't show that the thread has been updated.

![]() |

I have PMed him, hopefully he appears back soon.
I typically bot when requested to and given some sort of botting guideline, but botting potentially up to 3 player actions doesn't seem right with me.

![]() |

Hey guys, I realized this encounter is taking longer than usual and it looks like an eventual win with the enemy unable to break through.
Should we consider combat closed so we can move on? We're about 60-70 percent through the scenario.

![]() |

I agree that with the swarms gone, A bottleneck blocked by a tiger with healer backup, and with a little maneuvering the option to have 2 ranged attackers flanking said tiger we have this one covered.
That being said Haliban isn't needed for any upcoming games so I'm not in any specific rush.
So either way is fine with me.

![]() |

Reese, could you post over your information for reporting?
Mun, do you wish to roll for a dayjob?

![]() |

Does anyone need downtime between the two scenarios? If you do let me know.. I'm ready to go immediately for the next one.

![]() |

Haliban's roll was for a faction card goal. He doesn't have a day job so the 50gp is an error.
Also Haliban leveled to 6th. I could still play down but it might be better for the table if I played a pregen 4.

![]() |

I'm pretty sure that we encountered and defeated "a divine spellcaster whose patron is an evil deity and whose CR is at least equal to your character level."
Did we encounter "a named NPC who is a divine spellcaster with a good-aligned deity or a named outsider with the good subtype?"
Either way, I won't need to forego my downtime for a Faction Goal, so the Day Job roll is outside the spoiler.
Day Job, Craft (jewelry): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12
@GM, can you update my chronicle with this pittance? Thanks!
Mun has a faction goal to purchase healing for another PC. If anybody needs that, either now, or in the next scenario, let me know.

![]() |

Updated the chronicles!
Monday start is good with me. Let me look at the APL in the meantime.

![]() |

I hear the next one is tough so I don't mind playing down if no one else minds.
Updates to Haliban from leveling.
Feats gained - Improved Precise Shot and Manyshot, (Talent + another from FCB.)
Sneak Attack went up to 2d6 not that it matters much as an archer.
Bought a +2 Dex belt so Initiative is up to +8 and some of my skills got better.
And I'm replacing my alchemist fires and buying some more arrows.

![]() |

This combat scenario is perhaps the second nastiest I've come across in my PFS career, even a six player team had some difficulty at subtier 6-7 due to narrow space.
One of the first season 0 scenarios has a similar setup, fighting ghouls in a hallway. I've played and GMed it in both campaigns, and had multiple characters unconscious all but one time.

![]() |

Sorry for my disappearance this weekend, and thanks for the bot. The unfortunate confluence of a busy schedule and getting hit with a cold and cough took me out.
I'm posting this in my games first thing today, then I'll be catching up in gameplay; I should be caught up by the end of the day.

![]() |

We're close to the wrap up! Just loose ends to round up and then chronicles to provide.
I'm just curious if this will be complete by the weekend. I will have the rare opportunity to play an in-person game on Sunday. Based on the scenario being offered, Mun would be an excellent choice. If the chronicle is issued by then so that Mun can play, that would be great.

![]() |

I can wrap us up in the next post really! And should be able to issue the chronicle in the next 24 hours! So yes Mun can be available for the game!
