I'll assume Kiboko can attack with reach from his current location, and that Mvumbu can chomp on the green monk from her current location. If either choice is not viable, Kiboko will jump off the stairs to attack green, Mvumbu will remain where she is.
Switch Mvumbu's animal focus to Bull (+2STR), then enter rage.

Kiboko can most certainly reach.
Since Flyn dropped through the trap door, I assume that is a move action, hence Flyn cannot do two shots this turn since that's full round attack.
Qatala is quick to react to the Monk attempting to balance himself, whipping him into badly.
The Pathfinders tumble down the stairs one by one with the ferocity of a great animal herd. Kramac, Kuuma, Kiboko, and Mvumbu, all pounce themselves on the monk with the green headband. And every single one of their attempts to strike lands a solid blow on the monk. Together their strikes are able to knock that monk unconscious. However it was not without response, as Kuuma attempted to leap over, the Monk dealt a blow injuring Kuuma somewhat.

The Monk with the blue headband is frustrated and picks himself up. Provoke AoO from Kuuma. The Monks now spilt themselves up in effort to contain the pathfinders. The monk with the red headband intends to go all out on Qatala. However Qatala's training on the crane style proves to be much more superior to the half orc's techniques.
Kuuma though does not understand martial arts and is punch.

"DESTROY THE SLAVERS!"
Any pretence at stealth is long vanished from Kiboko's mind as his rage overtakes him. Whilst Kiboko gracefully bounds down the stairs, Kiboko advances, lance raised above his head and thrusting down over Qatala to strike at Red Monk. I think that due to high ground the Monk might not get cover against me, so haven't factored it into my attack roll. Switch Mvumbu's animal focus to frog in case she needs to make a jump roll (swift action).

Kramac provokes AoO
As the monks separate so do the pathfinders as they attempt to take them on. However, this proves to be not the best strategy. Kiboko strikes hard but not hard enough to take the half orc down. Mvumbu attempts to follow suit but the jump has taken energy out of her.
Kuuma is stunned by the other half-orc's impressive strike, and Kramac attempts to reach around to aid Kuuma, but get's in the way of the monk. Flyn's arrow strike the monk right in the temple, causing him to knock out. As the monk falls, the last remaining monk halts, and drops himself raising the imaginary white flag. "I give, I give! You won!"
End Combat here, it's too much for one monk to take down all of you!
As you look around, you note that the missing pathfinder is not here, however, one of the fallen monks hold a wayfinder, no doubt belonging to Cestis, and other useful tools. Including a key, 3 potions of cure moderate wounds, 3 bracers and 3 amulets.
The monk will gladly reveal the description of the magical equipment,
bracers of armor +1, and amulet of mighty fists +1
In the back of the ship, there is a small access hatch that can be opened with enough brute force. It seems to lead out into the smelly, disgusting bilge of the ship.

Flyn, seeing the Wayfinder, asks the remaining Monk brusquely, "Where is the owner of this? His name is Cestis... what do you know of him?"

![]() |

"Find the keys to the slaves' shackles! We must release them!"
Kiboko allows his rage to subside, and takes the key that was found as well as one of the amulets if nobody objects, it's for Mvumbu!. Then Kiboko approaches the slaves, key in hand.
Assuming that the key fits the shackles: "You are free now. There are no enemies above. Find the boarding plank and go to your homes. The Pathfinder Society will end this menace that your city governors have ignored! Is one of you named Cestis?"

![]() |

The detainees are most grateful for the release, but clearly none of them know of a persons named Cestis. They don't believe he was ever in this place.
The detained tell you of a persons named "Lucille". Though that is all they could muster as the half-orcs spoke in orc the whole time while they were there.

Kiboko is intent on finding this 'Lucille' and dealing with her. If she's not on the lower deck he'll continue up to the main deck. He doesn't want to get too far ahead of the party though. Deyno is around too.
Kiboko agrees with shackling the surviving Monks. Let the freed slaves "supervise" them whilst we deal with the slavers.

![]() |

Do any of the monk have the keys? Can we unshackle the slaves and shackle the monks where they were?

![]() |

The monks had a key which Kiboko used to release the slaves' shackles (post above). Whether the key is needed to shove the shackles on the monks depends on the type of shackles - are they self-locking in any way? Happy to say that Kiboko locked the monks up before heading upstairs, if GM is ok with that? Or threw the key downstairs so that someone else could.

![]() |

That's good. They did not mention the type of shackles but we can assume they can be locked with the key.
FLyn makes his way quietly to the top deck to see what who is making the commotion. As Flyn pokes his head from under the stairs, he observes that there indeed is a woman standing impatiently. She continues to shout for the half-orcs. She wears black clothing and an (un?)holy symbol uncommonly known to many. She is equipped with a flail.
Although the crew has yet to arrive, she is not alone, alongside her hovering slightly above the ground, an entity that looks to be created out of pure evil.

Flyn retreats quietly back to his friends with a grim face...
He whispers, "The lady is a cleric of Groetus, god of end times... while she looks like a formidable opponent, I fear her companion more...it is an undead creature of pure evil...it is a spectre...
I think we can surprise them if we strike quickly...if we don't take out the spectre fast, I fear it could go bad for us...
Qatala, you maybe the only one quick enough to engage the spectre and dodge its blows...if you feel you can do this, I can concentrate my bow upon the vile creature as it's more effective against undead..."
Learath, how quick does it take you to get Qatala's armor class into the 30's?

![]() |

My claws are strong enough to penetrate magical wards. Maybe, I can handle the spectre. If not, I am more than happy to take out this evil cleric.

![]() |

"How shall we proceed? She's definitely expecting the monks so if we strike quickly, we should surprise them...I can get off an arrow or two while y'all move quickly to engage...unless someone has a better plan..."

![]() |

No a blitz maneuver would be best. We can go off your arrow and hopefully neutralize them before they can set up defenses.
