attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12
Fortitude: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
GM Batpony |
Just a regular standard action to cut others ropes. I'm going to end the challenge here and award Chuffy with first to escape, and Reta second, since they managed in their first action. Poog has too large of an advantage for anyone to catch up. Just in case you wanted to know, 10 points for escaping first, and 5 for second.
The Goblins spectating are amazed at the efforts of the goblins, truth be told, other goblins have perished at the pies heat. With Wise Mummy counting the points, she announces the new chieftan as Poog!
As chieftan, you receive the birdcruncher crown +2 intimidate to goblins. You also receive the loot which you may divide according to your chieftainly will. Four potions of cure moderate wounds, a potion of fire resistance, a wand of lesser restoration (9 charges), a +1 flaming dogslicer, a Small cloak of elvenkind, a bead of force, a necklace of fireballs (type I), and 5 ounces of sovereign glue.
You may also make other goblins sub-chieftains, up to your discretion, it only adds flavour to the story than have any purpose.
With the fun and games over, it is now expected of the new chieftain and his party to head put and eliminate the fearsome orc they speak about. You leave tomorrow at first light!
You have a bit of time for prep, once chieftain is ready, we head out! Please update your hp
Goblin Pregen o/ |
Mogmurch is a bit grumpy at being baked into a pie and not being chieftan, but pretty soon the general excitement overwhelms him and he joins the Birdcrunchers in hailing Poog as chief. Besides, Poog knows him and Mogmurch is useful, he will surely still be in the top ranks of the tribe.
Reta the Dog-Hater |
Reta is stomping her feet in anger, because she really really wanted to be chieftan. Sulking. But knowing that there is things to be done. She goes and picks up extra arrows to be used later on. Prodding her animals in her pocket in frustration from time to time
Poog the Dog Killer |
Poog grins from ear to ear after being named Chieftain. "See! Me god is not to be laughed at anymore!" He turns to Wise Mummy and the rest of the Goblins. " Dees be my sub-chieftains now." He says pointing to Reta, Chuffy, and Mogmurch. He hands each one a potion of cure moderate wounds. Gives Rita the flaming dog slicer in exchange for her masterwork one. He gives Chuffy the bead of force, and the sovereign glue to Mogmurch, and keeps the rest of the loot for himself.
Seeing his allies hurt from his channeling, Poog casts a few healing spells before the night is done, and before going to bed.
I'm not sure who's hurt for how much at this point, but take what you need.
CMW: 2d8 + 3 ⇒ (8, 4) + 3 = 15
CMW: 2d8 + 3 ⇒ (3, 2) + 3 = 8

The next day...
"Let's go get em baddie"
GM Batpony |
Everyone got damaged from the channel energies, Reta you got hit for -10 in total after your saves.
And so our heroes(?) head to slay the beast! Surrounded by a rickety wooden fence and thick mud, Munchmeat Farm slumps in a soggy valley between two low tors. A slimy-looking creek winds through the farm, which is barely anything to look at. A house in the center of the fenced-in area leans against two hefty buttresses holding up three large beams. It’s balanced on numerous thick log stilts that create a cage-like hollow in the mud below the building. North of the house are a few filthy chicken coops, and to the west an upturned boat, propped against the fence, has been built into an impromptu shelter. A shed sits to the south of the building, and south and east of this shed are a few tired stretches of garden that look like they’re best at growing mud and weeds.
A single rickety farm gate allows passage through the wooden fence here, below an archway made of broken branches and bleached bones. A sign hangs from the arch, its words scrawled onto the wood with what looks like blood. Three severed, maggot-covered goblin heads sit on poles driven into the ground to the left of the gate. A second sign leans against these poles under the heads.
The gate is poorly made, there is only one way to the farm and it's through this gate, although unlocked, it's broken and you have to either climb or worm (escape artist), your way through, it's not very high, you won't hurt yourself of you fall. The gate is about 60ft in front of you. Before you attempt anything please roll perception!
