The woman bangs on the door before opening it. "Visitant, those against the Black Goat are here.". She then steps inside the room.

As the party moves up the follow the woman, they pass by a number of strange exhibits. Dominating the floor is the large, broken mechanical construct just in front of the ledge between the stairways. It has a vaguely insectoid look to it, but given its state of ruin, it is hard to say for sure. Also, just before the northern set of stairs in its own alcove is a bizarrely designed saddle on a stone pommel.

@Guido, Pelkin, Amarthecthel: When the woman opens the door, you all see a workbench that wraps around the walls, but the woman is looking towards the north.

Guido's powerful blow knocks the woman into the workbench, but she nimbly lands back on her feet, albeit haggared and severely injured from the Varisian's blows.

Entering the room, Guido can see more of this bizarre chamber. A strange laboratory with a curving workbench covered in gory heaps of flesh and bone sit against the lab's wall. In alcolves to the east and west are strange contraptions resembling iron cages fitted with human-sized openings.

Standing in front of the macabre workbench is a six-limbed alien entity; four of the limbs are covered in sharp claws, one of which is carrying a strange metallic rod, while fibrous wings stretch out from its bulbous, green-tinted form. It looks at Guido and flutters its wings in dominance.

Dyn reaches down and touches the dying Elf at his feet.

Cure Moderate Wounds: 2d8 + 3 ⇒ (5, 8) + 3 = 16

I really think you should try dodging a little more. He says to the elf as his eyes open. I'd also suggest playing dead for a little while longer

That's it for my single target healing until after we rest. Plenty of channels, but no selective, so they'll be helping enemies as well.

I think this party must be a bunch of non-confirmists... Poor Guido and Pelkin.

@Horgrym: Your blade is deflected by its rough exterior.

@Twigg: Your spell goes off at the beginning of your initiative, so you still get to act as normal for the round.

@Guido: Once again, the first punch lands solidly, albeit with reduced force. Had this been something normal, you probably would have broken some bones or jostled some internal organs. With something like this... no such excessive damage. The second swing is deflected much like Horgrym

@Pelkin: Your blade sinks in for significant damage, but much like Guido... the alien anatomy of this thing is preventing you from making any critical wounds.

@Amarthecthel: You're up, but obviously prone and disarmed.

Going to wait to see what Twigg does before posting what the Visitant does!

Twigg pulls out a wand and fires magic at the alien plant bug creature.

Wand of Magic Missile
[Auto hit]
force damage 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Mexel stays put. So Pelkin can get into melee

The Visitant uses its wand again...

GM Dice:

Visitant UMD: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (15) + 18 = 33

and vanishes from sight.

A buzzing sound can be heard as the draft of insectile wings flies over the heads of the party, past Horgrym.

Init Order (bold = you're up!):
Guido
Pelkin

Visitant
Horgrym
Twigg/Mexel
Amarthecthel
Dyn

Isn't it still covered with sparkly dust from Glitterdust?

But I imagine the new invisiblity would override that, making those sparkles invisible.
