A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 1–5.
Few societies have so vaunted a tradition of leading crusades as Taldor, yet the constant revisions to its history by scheming factions leaves the truth obscured by countless acts of political modifications. Even the lauded Kitharodian Academy’s texts are riddled with these changes, so when a secretive ally approaches the Pathfinder Society with information about a hidden archive that contains the unaltered histories, the Pathfinders plan a daring infiltration to recover the secrets of Taldor’s past victories so that Mendev might benefit from the discovery.
Content in "Library of the Lion" also contributes directly to the ongoing storylines of the Cheliax, Grand Lodge, and Taldor factions.

This game is part of the Official Pathfinder Society PbP Game Day. For more information please visit: PbPGameDay.com
This game will commence play on April 5th, 2014. It will end (hopefully well before) July 5th, 2014.
Never played Pathfinder Society before? No problem! Check out the Pathfinder Society page here at Paizo, and download the (free) Guide to Pathfinder Society Organised Play PDF for the extended rules and guidelines.
Looking for 3-5 people to go on a simple and easy (haha!) exploration of a beautiful and perfectly safe (yeah right) library in Oppara. (Note: One player slot in this game is already reserved.) All I need from applicants is a profile set up with your stat block or a link to a character sheet. Please make sure you have your PFS Number on your profile.
I expect players to post on a daily basis. I will endeavor to do the same.
Bonus cookies go to those people who post their character's race, class, and level here in this thread for easy access. Thanks muchly!
Gilfroy Fezziwig PFS |
I would like to apply with Gilfroy here, a gnome sorcerer (serpentine bloodline, tattooed sorcerer) 1, although if we have too much magic in the group, I have Eryndir, an elven zen archer monk 1 also available.
Khelreddin |
Hi Alice! My only low-tier character is already booked for PbP Gameday, but I enjoy your games so much I'd make another one to jump in. (I played Terrill in the Blakros Matrimony with you a while back).
Would that approach work for you? It means I don't quite fulfill your application requirements at the moment, and I certainly don't qualify for bonus cookies - but I could get a character together well before Gameday.

Works for me indeed. Good to have you back! And, as always, thanks for the gushing compliments. :P
5/6 spots gone in 5 hours!
1: Reserved for my friend who wants to get started on PFS PbP (who really needs to post his character already like I bugged him to do so)
2: Zherohd Zhi - Half-Elf Summoner 1
3: Gilfroy Fezziwig - Gnome Sorcerer 1
4: Cesare Andistore - Human Bard 1
5: Khelreddin's mysterious character - Classified Information 1
6: This could be you!

I am receptive to your bugging! I just am not sure exactly which or what way to go with a character yet! My love of arcane magic is already well represented though, that I have taken note of. Haha!
I'll put a character together tomorrow or the next day, a good distraction from pharmaceutical chemistry. :)
Hi everyone btw!
Cesare Andistore |
We're going to be hell on wheels when it comes to investigations and special effects, but I sure hope a brawl doesn't break out.
PS: Digimon? I think I was already on my second career when that was on! It's funny, but I've noticed that nearly everyone defines their geek interests by what was on when they were kids. For me, that was Star Trek reruns and Arthur C. Clarke novels. Most true geek TV was in the future (although I guess I was the right age for the very earliest "Superfriends".)
PPS: Get off my lawn!

I'm currently playing through this mod in a PbP so I can't be sure, but having read a couple of reviews it looks like you can actually avoid every single combat in this module if you're good enough. Otherwise you guys are going to have to colour spray the heck out of everything :)
BTW - It's true! My childhood was Sailor Moon, Pokemon, Digimon... and now I'm a big anime fan. Plus fantasy novels, thanks to a wonderful neighbour who got me reading David Eddings around the same age.
And yes, I feel young. :P
