@MannyGoblin: Also, what were your thoughts about his class selection? Do you wish for him to be a full inquisitor, or simply picked the class because it is a 'cleric with skills'? Saying this because Jerome's personality is quite incompatible with what one should expect of an Inquisitor of Asmodeus.

The Cardinal archetype for a cleric does a good job of fixing the skill points issue if you want to be rather less forcibly lawful!

Re:Caulflower

Old alias I was planning on using, I never imagined 'Cauliflower' at all. I dunno if they exist in Golarian. :)

As for Inquisitor, Jerome would be quite gung ho on going after tax-evaders, Bellflowers, rebels and shooting them with his crossbow for messing up a perfectly good system 'It's your fault you are getting the pliers, couldn't work within the system. Slave abuse? Anyone who abuses their slaves is an arse who certainly won't be invited to my parties, but the contracts are quite clear that owners have full rights to disciplinary actions!'

Faus Nasica: You have some pretty good stuff here, but allow me some comments. First, you gave me almost nothing about Faus's background... this isn't really a problem, but you'd be giving me free reign of it, since it would be impractical for me to have to constantly consult you if 'something would fit'. Second, please change all instances of 'Cimri Staelish' for 'Archbaron Fex of Longacre' (I wont spoil it to the other players, but this change makes A LOT of sense, while the way you tied yourself to Cimri makes little if no sense). Third, I've noticed you have very little presence in these boards... could you give me some assurance that you'll stick around for the time this game will take (around 3 years)?

1st - I kept it intentionally vague for his background so as not to be too limiting on whatever you added for the third secret or anything like that. Its also hard for me to picture a character's past before I start writing with them for a little while. If I start playing him and he comes off as aloof or distant from others at times, I can come up with a good reason in his past for that kind of behavior. Basically I dont like adding in random details that may have no real bearing on who he is now, when I play him. If you want me to add more though I can definitely add onto what I have since I do have some ideas for bits and pieces of his past.

2nd - I will definitely change that, after I post this. Basically the name was just pulled from the Player's Guide based on the sentence, "Before beginning the campaign, talk with the other players in the group and decide how you all happen to be in Longacre and how you know the shady character Cimri Staelish." I didnt really see anything else about him but figured I needed a good reason to be directed towards someone who could pair me with the rest of the group.

3rd - I haven't really done much play by post ever. I've been a part of a few Roll20 Campaigns but they tend to fall apart, fast for me. There were two games in a row I got into that didn't get through the 3rd session without someone not showing up and everyone drifting apart after that. So I felt it was time to try play by post. Maybe when you can just hop online and post, slightly less rigid time constraints, will help a group stay together. Personally a group for multiple years of activity sounds like heaven to me because I haven't had that in a long time.

Alright, presenting Bledyn Alecroft, skinwalker barbarian. He has ranks in Disable Device and will get trap sense via danger sense at level 3. Stats, background and 10 minute background are in his profile.

Thank you for everyone who applied.

I'd like to invite Cael Melum to join us in the discussion thread!

Good luck and congrats! If you ever need a new character again, let me know, I have a lot of character concepts for this campaign. And even though I didn't get selected I'd still love to hear feedback about my submission if possible; if not, I understand.

Sure I can, lazulin! The main reason I did not pick Blayden was because I though he would not really fit the party. All other players are LE and yours is CE. There are also other specific points about your PC that could generate trouble:

- His hedonistic nature: For someone who has a 'complete disregard for laws' (being CE), this seek for pleasure could put you against the party and even the city;

- Devils vs. Demons: One of the players is a cleric of Asmodeus and thus it would be inevitable to avoid a conflict if they discover your devotion to Jezelda, something you don't hide;

- Menacing appearance: The PCs have already been accused to work with 'monsters' so Blayden wild appearance would probably work against them, meaning that in character, they would have no reason to let you join them;

- Plot incompatibility: I'll not spoil this for you in the case you join another Hell's Vengeance game, but there is some sort of patron that would have no reason to 'hire' you. He would most likely send the guards after you.

Hello Pathfinders!

Our GM has had to abandon our game due to life getting in the way--as it often does. We feel like we've got a good thing going here, and we'd like to keep playing. We've entertained the idea of having a player graduate to GM for this, but would rather try our hand at finding an independent GM first.

Please see the original Recruitment post here. We'd like to keep playing (mostly) under the rules the GM Advocate initially set up. (Though, none of us are fans of Wound Thresholds, so wouldn't mind giving that up.)

Gameplay starts here, if you'd like to peruse our posting style, frequency, and catch up to where we are in the game.

Please post in this thread if you're interested in picking this game up. Please know that we consider this to be a recruitment. As much as we expect you'll want to review our gameplay to make sure you like our game, we will want to review your GMing style as well, to make sure that this is a good fit for all.

Thanks!

Oh man, I'm sorry to hear that you guys lost the GM! To any prospective GMs, I'd like to say that this is a great group of players and it would be a great game to pick up. I got to play with them for a while before real life tackled my free time and I was unable to keep up the posting frequency.

Good luck finding a GM. I hope this game gets to continue, you guys were awesome.
