Snouts oinks some things at Ernest, who seems unhappy at the porkball about the info.
He looks to the Joh, "I guess one of the people downstairs is capable of lockpicking with plant pieces. Maybe they're also pretty good at dextrous things; how good are you at this kind of stuff?"

Ignatius gives the Dread Pirate Roberts Johendar a firm pat on the shoulder, "May Iomedae give you guidance in this task."
Johendar gets guidance.

Johhendar shrugs. "At the present, good enough to stay alive. Guess will see." Cracking his knuckles, he takes a deep breath and starts gingerly removing the map. "Come'on girl, nice and easy."

"Wait wait wait wait!" Ernest exclaims, fumbling to try to "help." "You're losing the Rose District!"

Between the divine guidance, assistance and luck, Johendar is able to carefully pull
the map down and pack it without losing a single pin or piece of yarn.
The map will provide a much more accurate picture of the slave trade back in the hands of the Society.
So with mirror and map and Rothur in tow, your group concludes business in the chambers of the missing Pasha.
Jairo, holds the door for you on the way out.
"I trust you found what you came for? Excellent, most excellent."
He bows as Ernest and Johendar as they carry the map out.
Then with a raised eyebrow at Johendar, the djinni notices the pirate and the spear with the under-garments tied to it.
"Maybe you found more than you expected?" He grins.
As Eadie and August approach with the bundled mirror he quips.
"Eadie, I must inform you that I remain bound to
perform al’Jakri’s will but I hope to meet you again
under more pleasant circumstances."
Rothur scowls at the djinni.
"We must hurry. Hunting parties will be back before the dawn.
It is best we not be here when they return."
Lore, Ignatius and Gima bring up the rear of the group and Jairo closes the door behind them.
"I wish you safe travels."
You gather up the surviving slaves and supplies,
securing enough basic provisions to get yourselves and
any liberated slaves to Okeno.
From There, a ship awaits will await to take you back to Absalom.
Feel free to retcon any dialog/actions into the above. I will close out
back in Absalom tomorrow. Session has been posted already. Chronicles Saturday

Eadie makes a curt bob to the Outsider. “No worries, Jairo. I get how slavery works a bit better now. Oh, but my oath stands. If I ever manage to defeat the Pasha and claim her ring, my first wish will be to set you free.”
At the docks Eadie points out the vessel taking the extended party back home.
While everyone reacts (or not), Eadie suddenly stands bolt upright again. Her eyes boggle and then she raises a fist in triumph. Again a little time passes before she opens her mouth.
“PARTY AND EX-SLAVES IN TRANSIT STOP ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS ACKOWLEDGED STOP JOH TO CARRY EADIE’S LUGGAGE STOP EVERYONE MUST BUY EADIE CANDY ON ARRIVAL IN ABSALOM STOP ICE CREAM TOO STOP LOVE LADYD ENDS”
Eadie comes out of her trance blinking. “Well! What do you think of that?”

"While I enjoyed my little stint as a slave dealer, it's a role I don't want to have to do again... I am more concerned now about how you all feel now that it's over than your physical condition... Even though you were just playing a role, it couldn't have been easy to be put in that position. Let's go home and put this all behind us."
Lore waves goodbye to Jairo and nods at Eadie's comment to him. "I am with my sister here... if I ever get a way to free you, like a wish, or defeating the one who holds you here, I will wish you free... because being held against your will is just ... evil. Take care and be well."
"Now let's get this mirror and map back to headquarters where they can possibly be put to good use. And then I'll make you all a meal to die for to celebrate our success... "

"ICE CREAM"
Snouts snaps to attention and initiates Operation: Beg again.

Once the ship returns you to Absalom and you are in the Grand Lodge,
Ambrus Valsin debriefs your team.
"I wanted to let you know you
accomplished a great deal despite al’Jakri’s escape."
He seems only a little disappointed but then smiles.
"Let me continue the debriefing with you for a few minutes longer.
In particular, I want to know how the enchanted cedar chest performed in the field.
Any problems with its operation? I trust it came in quite handy"
He waits for the responses.
"In concluding the meeting, I advise everyone to remain
in Absalom for the next several days as I work with
Lady Darchana to ensure she has all of the information
she needs to predict the pasha’s next step. Any questions? If not, you are dismissed."
Also,
"Oh, one last item: We received word from a certain Jairo, that he is back in his home.
Having a noble outsider as an ally can be most beneficial. Well done."
You are each granted the Djinni’s Admiration boon on your Chronicle sheets when you receive them.

“Yeah, the chest worked as advertised and was certainly useful. About the only criticism I have is maybe use a less expensive wood than cedar and scuff it up a bit so it doesn’t become a target for thieves rogues.”
Eadie mulls the best applications for VC Valsin’s prototype. “It would also be good for smuggling your friends into the Ivy Playhouse so they can see the show for free. Oh! It could also hold all your popcorn and ice cream so you don’t have to pay the outrageous prices that proprietor Alain Always charges for his!”

"Venture-Captain, I'd say it functioned admirably, though I'd be worried about any interaction of Extraplanar Space Overlap issues. Has that been tested?" Ernest is handed a note from a runner, informing him that VC Dreng has "broken his front door again." Ernest looks none too excited to fix his door again (read: he lost his keys somewhere). He sends the runner back with an affirmative.

After the meeting, Ernest sheepishly gives Snouts a bag to hold and presents him to Eadie as if he were some kind of baby. "I, um, uh, want to, uh, apologize to the, uh, Semisecret Cabal of Womanhood and, uh, to you for, uh, being, um, awkward. I am willing to pay the requested reparations from, uh, you mentioned earlier. There's 10 gold for ice cream and other deserts. Snouts loves them, and he's been good lately, and, uh, you like him, so, uh, I, uh, figured you'd, uh, like to use him as a, uh, food b-buddy."
will: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
He tries to make eye contact with only a minor success and notes, "I have official business. I just wanted to say 'I'm Sorry, Please Don't Assassinate Me' better, but I can't attend any socials. Hopefully Professor is enough of a pig to take my place..."

So now he thinks I’m fat …
Eadie’s lips thin and her eyes narrow. She opens her mouth to say something ... when Ernest hands her Babe. She takes Snouts, puts him down on his trotters and shares a little smile and shake of the head with the magical critter.
He’s hopeless! But at least he means well.
“Thank-you, Ernest. It means a lot that you trust me to look after the Professor. Good luck with your research.”
Eadie then collects the pig's bag. “So, what does everyone say to a drink or three at the Winking Cyclops tavern in the Coins after I've fed Professor X?”

![]() |

"That sounds great... and tomorrow night, I fix dinner for everyone... even the ... um.. Professor... can come too."

“That sounds great, Lore! Wild Cauchemars couldn’t drag me away.”
some stuff
Eadie cradles her forehead in her hand briefly. So wrong …
