None for me thank you," Jorn says finishing his meal.
"Where to next? did you see anything interesting on the board?" he asks while others are finishing their meals.
2. The local church house of the Church of the Silver Flame has their donations for the poor stolen.
3. Finally, there is an interesting job from House Cannith. It seems that they are looking for somebody to deliver a schema to the headquarters in Fairhaven.

Sithar Hareen |
"I did. Some cattle have gone missing, and some unknown tracks have been spotted in the vicinity. Jeren suggested we ask locals about the missing..." A brief facial expression of anger and fear appear on Sithar's face before he continues, "donations for the poor that were stolen. Then we can deliver some cargo to Fairhaven."

Sithar Hareen |
Sithar orders another drink (same as first one) when his slices of pie arrive.
"Stealing from the poor is not right. Though the poor are not being killed while the animals might be. Would it not be better to investigate who is taking lives as opposed to coins first?"

Ser Jeren d'Jorasco |

Hearing Jorntesh mentioning music and then seeing the woman walking in straight up to the piano without a word, Jeren is a bit baffled.
He looks up to Jorntesh.
Please tell me this is coincidence and not some kind of magic trick?
Anyways, stealing from the poor is something that should be prohibited. I mean it is, but it's even worse, in a way. Sadly too many thrive on exploiting those who can't defend themselves. It sounds like a just cause, something that would please Dol Arrah. If we can help someone out and make their lives better, we should do it.
Let's finish up here and go.
He smacks his lips, drinking up the last bits of his espresso.

Sithar Hareen |
"Thank you, miss."
Sithar takes his time to enjoy the one slice of pie with ice cream, "This is delicious. The rest of you can share the other slice I ordered if you want. If it is still on the table after I finish this slice, I will finish the second slice quick so we can head out."

Jorntesh |

Jorntesh hums along with the music. After the pie is gone he winks at Jeren. He holds up a coin, Magic? Not me, but I bet I can make this disappear with just a pair of words: check please?
Afterword he heads to the board and takes down the relevant information concerning the thefts. Then he applies his efforts to the information. When you're ready friends.

"Coming right up, hun!" says the server. And she goes to the register and writes up the check. Including sales tax.

Ser Jeren d'Jorasco |

Once everyone is ready, Jeren leads the way outside with his trusted Clawfoot Brightfang at his side.
But, where exactly too?
Outside he pauses for a moment, looking into different directions, unsure where to go next.
Where exactly did you see those job descriptions again? Where there any hints already? Or someone we should contact?

Doctor Sixteen aka Doc |

"Yes, I assume a Charge into the crowd dispersing them with choatic Melee, before we retreat and lure them back here into awaiting traps!! I will make usre to keep the spare parts for repairs....Oh no I forget the war is over...Apologies carry on" Doc says as he salutes then relaxes.

The church, built of stone, wood, and glass; has a steeple and stained glass windows. The priest is there, pacing the floor. He looks like Father Brown. Except he does not carry a cross, he carries a symbol of the silver flame. He looks like he has been fretting over something. He wipes his brow with a handkerchief as he has been sweating with worry.

Sithar Hareen |
As the group makes their way to the church, Sithar tells Jorntesh about his life, "No one special, if you mean romantically. There is someone very special to me. Hareen. I do not know if he is doing well, as he stayed behind in Cyre years ago when Jeren and his kin were bringing me home to mine. He was happy to be with fellow tigers there. That was before the destruction of Cyre. Did the wildlife of the northern plains there survive the devastion of Cyre?" Sithar gets a look of hope on his face, waiting for Jorntesh (or any of the rest) to answer his question.
The tiger-striped alley cat moves up against Sithar and purrs as it nudges Sithar's right lower leg with its head.

Doctor Sixteen aka Doc |

"Wildlife? Like Juggernauts and husks?"Doc says as he follows and then looks at the Church.
"Never saw the need for church. What am I but an object, with an echo? Do I have a real soul? Or do I simply have programming?"Doc ponders softly as he walks with them.

EltonJ |

Sithar waits outside while the others goes into the church, he starts acting slightly paraonoid, looking all around for threats.
Sithar's Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18
Sithar, you don't see anyone at the moment. You do, however, see a red, torn scarf.

EltonJ |

How far away is it? Where is it? Is it on the ground, in a tree, etc.? With the current distance it is from Sithar, does the red just look like the material the scarf is made from or does it look like it might be blood/bio matter?
It is about 15 feet away from the priest, in the rose bushes. It's thirty feet away from you. It seems to be made of glamor weave. The color of it is rose red. You can't see it but it has a crest on it.

Ser Jeren d'Jorasco |

Doc, how often have i to tell you? You stike me very much as a person, so i guess you do have a soul, somehow. It is the wonder of life and magic. Jeren answers to Doc and his ponderings.
With a bit pained look the listens to Sithars story, memories of his rescue and the fae wilds coming to his mind.
Cyre? Guess nobody really knows what survived there or not. And probably it's better when things did not survive.
Then he enters the church, surprised to see a priest of the church in such obvio8us tumult.
Greetings, o father of the flame. Is something troubling you? We came here to inquire about the stolen donations for the poor. We would like to help if we can.

EltonJ |

Sithar walks over to get a better look at the scarf.
The scarf is long, about 18 inches. It's rose red and made of glamorweave. It shimmers in the sunlight, and embroidered on one side is a crest. Make a knowledge: Nobility and Royalty role to see if you seen it somewhere. The crest tells you that a noble man or a noble woman was here, who you don't know yet.

"I am worried that the poor might not get their portion," says the priest. "I'm a parish priest, I help the faithful grow in their faith in the flame. However, when I found that the poor box was empty, I decided to ask for help. I don't know who is stealing from the poor, but I'd like somebody to get to the bottom of it."

Theonius d'Lyrandar |

Apologies for the long silence! Will do better.
Theo has been somber since the mention that someone is stealing from the poor, and perks up when the priest mention the donation box was simply robbed. Was there any sign of forced entry into the donation box?

The priest shows you the box. The lock is missing, and the metal parts that help the lock stay in place are warped. "Yes, there is. Look at it, please?" asks the priest.

EltonJ |

Theo narrows his eyes, closely examining the box.
The box looks like it's definitely forced open. The lock had been forcibly opened, and the casing forced open. The hinges look okay, but somebody took the gold that was in the poor box. Donations aside, the available donations have been taken.

Theonius d'Lyrandar |

I make no gestures and speak no words of magic, but my Mark pulses with bright blue-green light as I cast detect magic, looking for any trace that the thief used magic to accomplish their theft.

Ser Jeren d'Jorasco |

Following the preist and then standing aside for Theonius to search for magic traces, Jeren states:
Ah always practible to have someone capable of magic. Alas i myself am not, but i can do something else. Let's look for traces of malice.
Jeren's eyes take on a blue tint and his pupils go wide as he scans the area for evil.

A nat 20 on an untrained knowledge check. I think that is a first for me in all the many years I have been ttrping.
You seen the crest on the cloaks of the ir'Thalon family.

You feel evil, yes. It's not precisely there, but it's there. A lingering aura of an evil act that's been committed. Stealing from a church, any church, can have consequences. This you understand. You also have a feeling that deception has been committed. But you aren't sure how.
I make no gestures and speak no words of magic, but my Mark pulses with bright blue-green light as I cast detect magic, looking for any trace that the thief used magic to accomplish their theft.
You feel no magic auras right now.

Jorntesh |

. Did the wildlife of the northern plains there survive the devastion of Cyre?"[/b] Sithar gets a look of hope on his face, waiting for Jorntesh (or any of the rest) to answer his question.
I have seen the wolves a few times, they seem to be doing OK. It is the mid-predators I have seen the least of, but I think they are out there & will be back.
Jorntesh asks the priest about the timing if the thefts, is there possibly a pattern?
