GM Aarvid PFS #3-09: The Quest for Perfection—Part I (Inactive)

I am starting recruitment for running a Pathfinder Society adventure, #3-09. This will be an open recruitment to backfill for three players looking to add three additional PbP players. This will be low tier 1-2.

If you have played other PFS scenarios, then PbP is the same but running with play-by-post rules. This adventure will 'lock' in a PFS character for about 8 weeks if posting daily. Pre-generated PFS characters are also acceptable.

For players not familiar with PFS or posting here, I'll post a few guidelines.

• You need a legal PFS (Pathfinder Society) character. PFS information is here.

• Post your legal character. (Paizo People --> Aliases).

  Here is Fendahl Silvermane for example.

• you must be able to post about 1-2 times per day for 7-9 weeks (exceptions can be arranged ahead of time).

• I do not require your previous Chronicle Sheets unless you have unusual races or boons. I assume you will be honest with me and your fellow players. If a question of an item or race comes up, I may ask to know where and how you got said item.

• Maps will be posted through google docs. Please make sure you can access this service if you sign up.
  

Recruitment will open now and will close once I have enough players to start (probably early next week). If there are any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Please post your character's profile with level and class for consideration. I appreciate good back stories and party RP. I will list alternates if we have any no shows.

Here is a dwarf fighter I made for PFS just recently, I will submit him. He has no XP. His stat block and background are on his profile for your approval.

Here is my submission. Was not sure what class of character you might be looking for. It is my first PFS character, but not my first PBP game. I think I followed all the rules, but if there are any mistakes, please tell me and I will correct them. Background to follow shortly. Thank you for your consideration for my inclusion in this game.
It seems my PFS character does not show on my 'Post As' choices. Not too sure how to add it, but if you go to my main page it is there (Nguyen An).

I would like to do this with a specific character though he is currently tied up in another PBP would you be willing to take a Pregen?

Party mix right now is bard 2, oracle 1, and the two fighters listed above.
I thought we might also have a rogue 2, but I have not heard from him. I would like to start tomorrow night, if everyone has their characters ready.

GM could I switch out the two spells the Pregen has memorized to two others that are in his spellbook. Specifically I would like to memorize Color Spray and Grease

@Daway - If they are already on his spell book, then sure. He can prep them.

@Nguyen - he looks good/valid to me.

Your sentence got me wonder and I have a question. I have played PFS before but I am not familiarized with all its rules or if it can be done in a pbp. Will this scenario count to the advancement of my character in levels and restrict me from doing it again with my character in a RL oficial game?

@Merck - yes and yes. Your character is considered locked into this mod and cannot be used in another mod until you finish. You receive a chronicle at the end that would be the same as if you had played it at a game day etc.
