Beltzer revitalizes Varin with his life link a little though both are starting to be worse for wear. In response to the narrow tunnel they have themselves caught in Beltzer unleashes a fog cloud to mask the attacker's view then walks up getting closer to him, bogged down by the water in the bilges.

Forgot about the water, so Fog cloud it is. If people have a problem with its placement feel free to tell me somewhere else to put it. -5 hp Beltzer, +5 hp Varin, move towards the enemy.

Varin's hammer splashes into the bilges.

Just as Arlan stops, he sees another snare trip and manages to safely trigger it.

Nerak watches his magic missiles disperse on an translucent shield in front of the archer.

Lys misses with her readied shot.

Seemed the archer had a magical shield, well their were ways around that. Normally he would not consider this spell for such an enclosed location and single enemy, yet they had annoyed him and it was late. He brings down a hail of stones on the archer, summoning the rocks upon them but not his allies. That would also make retreat harder, he had enough of fleeing villains.

Arlan spews a string of curses in reply to Lys' question as he is hoisted in the air. He flicks a dagger into his hand from his sleeve and saws the rope, incomprehensibly landing on his feet before continuing forward.

I am going to jam every single one of this coward's arrows into his worthless hide. He's here, Lys, I can smell him cowering.

Swift: Spring-loaded wrist sheath to draw dagger.

I did ask about the cloud before I put it up, I can't dismiss it without some strong winds. It's there for 40 min.

Arlan moves forward and straight into a writhing snake waiting right below the water. The snake attempts to strike Arlan but fails to connect.
Snake had total cover below the dirty water. Moving into its square triggered an AOO. I won't make Arlan flat-footed.

Wulfrum finally lands in the bilges into cold, murky water until his waist. He sees the halfway down the bilges ending in a fog bank.

Nerak moves unseen forward and cast a spell while right behind Varin. Slapping him with the spell in the back, strength flowing into him. He whispers.

Arlan gets to the ladder bottom and fails to get an arrow in the face. The stairs are a mirror image to the stairs down into the bilges from the smuggler's hold. The pump room is dark.

Besides labored breathing of the companions, the only sounds are the water slapping against in the moored ship and normal rustling of the crew above deck.

I would advise also to look around/survival to see if the person is still here or left. As I'm guessing they are probably invisible or HiPs or something.

Beltzer throws out some lights ahead of him sending them into the next room illuminating it. He cuts off the lifelink with Varin for now as it is slowly draining him and he doesn't want to be left completely defenseless.

Dancing lights in the pump room and move up ahead behind Nerak. I'll make the lights look like a person maybe tricking the person inside as it 'climbs' up the ladder.

Pretty sure that room only has one entrance unless I misread or remembered wrong. As for invisio, Lorn has blindsight, which is why I had him go forward into the fog to make sure they did not use it to slip by. So long as their is no other exit they won't be going anywhere regardless if we can see them or not. ;)
