I am going to go out on a limb and say that if yall have witnessed a channel, you recognize this as a channel of positive energy. However, none of you would have been on the receiving end of positive energy as undead.. but I believe you could make the correlation.

Slick moves far enough away from the pulsing hole to avoid further damage to himself from its bursts of positive energy, ready to resume their mission.

Aye, haunts seen I have. But like this they were not. Our holy priests a siphon of some sort used. Naught have I of those. Nor any knowledge of how to help. Waki scratches his beak as he thinks a bit and moves further away (40' now total).

Perhaps consulting the Pharasmites if see them again we do. If not other ideas, agree I do. Our main mission awaits and shed light here it may.

Once the party finishes healing, Yoon say "Anybody else starting to get hungry? I'm a little worried what we might need to eat to satisfy that hunger." Then she shrugs and pulls out a wand. "Oh, and before we get to the Ubergoth Temple, any of you able to cast Haste? If not, I can try and Use this Magic Device, but it might be better for an arcany type to have it. The command word is 'Mach schnell!'" She pauses to watch a particularly ugly looking bug buzz past, before holding the wand out for anyone to claim.

He turns to Yoon, "I can use your wand of haste, but it might be better in the hands of one less needed in melee combat."

If we have no one more suited to employing the wand, Slick will be happy to carry it and use it when expending a charge is worth the buff from haste.

You are able to recognize that you all stand in the area of a Haunt. Obviously, the spirit of Joktan Heth was not satisfied with the prayers and rituals of the Pharasmins that interred him, and still holds great resentment. The haunt does react to the flask of holy water, but it is going to take more than just dumping a single flask out to appease the restless spirit. Unfortunately, you have no idea what may appease the spirit. The others convince you to move away and leave the haunt for another time.

The group heals (Or rather hurts) up and moves on down the trail towards the temple.
Also, don't forget the bag of 8 ILW potions that Valsin gave yall!

The temple of Urgathoa stands somberly atop the low hill, it’s dark, smooth stone seeming to suck the hollow light from the air into itself, giving off an aura of darkness. Large double doors stand ajar, providing a glimpse into the square sanctuary within. A black altar stands on a raised dais along the south wall, covered in cobwebs and dust. Small torches are set into pillars throughout the room cast an eerie, flickering glow on the entire chamber.

A vile mass of writhing worms in undulating humanoid form stands atop the altar. Surrounding him on the temple floor are undead minions, who watch his every move, swaying back and forth and chanting in a tongue at times guttural and at others sibilant. The robed figure of slithering worms jerks his head up at an unsettling angle as he senses your approach. “Welcome, Pathfinders. I’m glad you managed to find me, although truth be told, you’re rather late. Still, at least you’ll be able to witness my greatest triumph. I’d take the time to explain things to you, but well, I’d rather just kill you and get this over with.” With those words, The figure motions and his minions attack.

The map is updated. There is no description of what the weird yellowish forms on the map are, so we are going to pretend that those don't exist and the temple has an open floor for you to move forward through.

DC 22 KN (religion):
A Worm that Walks can discorporate into a worm swarm as a free action. It can also perform a squirming embrace, in which it can grapple a creature and send worms swarming over the victim.

Slick activates the wand of haste, "Mach schnell!" He stows it in his handy haversack. Haste on everyone, including Sithiss, but not Yoon and Selter. Sorry, guys. Didn't think it would help you as much. Duration 5 rounds.
He grasps the hilt of his black blade, infusing it with his arcane pool. Arcane Pool 5/7. Increased the blade's enhancement bonus by 1 to +3 and adding the keen property.
Then, Slick steps forward to meet the enemy, slashing the black scimitar through the air. "Bring it, Worm."

Waki vanishes (ki-free invisible 4 rds) and moves into the room along the opposite wall. He is looking for any traps, all while blades drawn.

Slick pulls out a wand and is able to use its powers to make most of the team much faster than they normally would be! Then he stows the wand and uses his magic to enhance his blade.

Slick:
It seems that there were too many actions here: I am willing to grant a free action to draw the wand based on your BAB, but activating it is a standard, then stowing it in the Haversack (or even drawing it) is a move action. That doesn't leave enough actions for you to actually move. I have put your token back where you started.

Waki fade out of sight and moves forward, getting ready to attack anything in reach.

The four ghouls rush down the temple towards the intruding Pathfinders, grouping up as they rush the doors!

Slick was carrying the wand and hadn't stowed it, after Yoon handed it to him. Slick's move was just a 5'step, which was as far as I'd moved him on the map and the reason the post said, 'Slick steps forward.' I apologize for the lack of clarity in the post and regret the misunderstanding.

My apologies. For some reason I got hung up on the number of things going on, and completely blanked that it was only a 5 ft step to begin with. Wand in hand or not, that should have been allowed. I will try to pay closer attention.

Selter casts a spell to create a frozen area in the midst of the onrushing undead, then commands his snake to attack them, despite the snakes aversion to dead food! Chunks of frozen undead fall to the ground from the decomposing bodies.

Sithiss moves in and pulls the head from the nearest ghoul, killing it outright.

Yoshi takes out the downed creature before him with his first strike, then steps forward to take on the back line dropping them all with his longspear flying through the air.

The worm creature touches its chest and mutters an arcane phrase, and suddenly, it seems to have moved a couple feet to the side. "Come to me Pathfinders. You shall know the betrayal that I felt as I lay dying with no one to help me! You too will know the betrayal of the Society and its fool suicide missions!"

Selter tries to dispel the magic surrounding the creature, but he isn't able to match the strength of the creatures spell.

Aramil moves in to attack from the front, and although he does manage to find the mark, his sword seems to do no damage to the creature.

The creature steps back away from Aramil, and spits a curse towards the child that just injured him. Reaching out with a finger towards Aramil, he mutters a short phrase before a ray of fire arc out from his fingertip and strikes the too close fighter right in the chest.

Yoshi launches a rapid series of attacks. However time and time again he is thwated by the creatures displacement. A couple of times he is on target, and the creature totters off balance.... but is it enough to fall over?

Yoon tries to inflict a repeat performance on the creature before her, but just ends up fatiguing and hurting herself channeling all that power.

Waki pops out of the shadows like a jack in the box from heck, but as he slices the creature, he can see the wound immediately healing back.
DR and immune critical and flanking

Aramil steps in with a flurry of blows, but is only able to actually strike the creature on his second blow. Unfortunately, most of this strike is lost the same way Waki's strike was.

Slick electrifies his sword and moves in for the strike. His sword sinks into the mass of worms and crisps a few of them, bud doesn't seem to much effect the creature at all.

Yoshi, tired of playing with this thing, steps up behind the group and tries his damnedest to knock the creature over. He finally manages to trip it, and his last bite manages to catch the creature, but the creatures powers prevent any damage.

He ticks off their efforts thus far, "It's immune to mind-affecting effects. It appears immune to electricity damage, as well, because my shocking grasp had no effect. Our weapons, whether slashing, piercing, or bludgeoning, seem to have little effect, even when they penetrate its displacement, probably because it's nothing but a pile of diminutive worms. However, Yoon's flame blast worked quite well."

He considers the tools at his disposal. "Perhaps, we must resort to more basic methods, alchemical weapons, holy water, area of effect items and spells."

Slick concedes his professional embarrassment. "I've got a wand of burning hands and a wand of cure light wounds."
