[GD6] PFS #6-10 The Wounded Wisp [1-2] (Inactive)

Hello and welcome! I most sincerely apologize for having neglected to create a discussion thread prior to today, but I honestly only just realized that I'd derped it up. Still, we've a month before PbP Gameday VI officially kicks off, so I thought it'd be good to start sorting out marching order, and possible 'downtime/tavern' interactions so characters might have a reason to be moving together at the beginning of this scenario.

For the most part, taglines are readable and that makes me happy - means I'll have a quick little cheat-sheet for when the game begins.

What I would like to ask of you, dear players, is to set up a marching order and botting protocol.

Also, I know I've noted that my required minimum for this game is 1 post per day, but does anyone feel confident that they could surpass that? Say, get in two or three posts a day instead? I was thinking if we all could manage it, we could hasten our progress some.

As we get closer to the promised starting date, I'd like to ask everyone to start giving me some preparatory information. c:

A mwangi man dressed in a fur coat raises his hands, as if to call for everyone to listen,

"Let me tell ya'll a story bout a friend I've had,
He's a mean motha-f@%&a and he's super bad!
So grab onto your seats and hang on tight--
for my main man, Dinomite!"

Dinomite enters the room. His signature afro styled to perfection, he looks the very image of funk.

"What it is, Bullhorn. I heard you had some leads about what happened to my brother, Jimmy. It's about time we found out who, so that we can ensure justice for Jimmy's murder!"

Bullhorn smirks.

"Man I was wonderin when you was gonna ask,
waiting for that question is like watchin growin' grass.
It's this little sucka who's got your clues,
I bet it's time he paid his dues!"

A small, garundi man with wearing flambouyant, frilly clothing steps out. Even if you threw this man into a pool, there's no way he'd weigh more than 100 lbs. His hair is meticulously curled, making it apparent apparent this person is obsessed with their appearance.

"Uhh....hey there, Dinomite..."

Dinomite cracks his knuckles and points a finger at Cream Corn,

"Cream Corn? Why should I trust your ass after you tried to sell me out to Riddleport Rain?"

"That's the thing, Dinomite--I'm real sorry. But see I was supposed to be there with Jimmy the night he was murdered, but he told me to stay at home. He saved my life, and I guess I owe it to him."

Dinomite sharpens his gaze as Cream Corn explains himself, slowly nodding in response.

"If it's for Jimmy, you're in."

Suddenly, Dinomite is stricken with a flashback.

A young version of Dinomite stands over a hospital bed. Laying in the bed is an old woman, clearly about to pass away.

"Jimmy you are high as a kite! Who gave you the drugs?! Who gave you the drugs!?"

Dinomite snaps back to reality, seemingly unaware he was staring off into space for the last minute or so.

Bull Horn waits for Dinomite to come back to the present, and after an awkward back and forth 'you good?' series of eye contact, Bull Horn clears his throat and continues:

"It's an alliance, so bad dudes be warned!
Fear the outcome of messin with Dinomite and Bull Horn!"

He tosses his head to the side, as if to mimic a bull thrusting its horns.

Ok that's enough madness with the heralds....for now.

Heh, I'm so irrationally pleased. c: I was 100% looking forward to running this, but woah - I'm super excited now! C: I hope you're all ready~ c:

Okay, my loves, I have to announce that the there'll be at least one weirdly timed week. My fiance and family have conspired to surprise me with a cruise from September 30th to October 7th. During that period of time, I will have internet access, but the scheduling may be weird. That said, here are the options I have for you --

2. Hiatus until I come back

Please let me know your preference for that period of time. c: I'm 100% okay with either since I've already paid for the internet. c:

As a heads up: Something has come up so there will be a slight delay in the real kickoff for the scenario. That said, get yourselves in there.

Just be aware that I'm currently in the middle of resolving a thing and will commence as soon as it's done c:

Alrighty! I'm ready to get us rolling forward, but I'd like do a bit of quick housekeeping afore we get going.

This may seem a bit weird or feel a bit awkward (and if so, I'm really, really sorry about that, but I truly believe it's the best way for me to ensure the quality of this game and reduce potential drama).

1. I would like everyone to post at least once a day. I'm hoping for a slightly more rapid pace, but that's my bare minimum.
2. Please make the rolls relevant to your actions! If I feel like you're making an excessive number of actions or rolling a bit too often for the purposes of what you're doing (or not enough, really), I reserve the right to make all rolls for you.
3. Keep in mind, PFS is all about the three tenants: cooperate, explore, and report.
4. If at any point, you feel uncomfortable with something in my game - another player, me, the way I did something - please inform me immediately. Or, if you're not comfortable with telling me about something (if I derped something up, for example), please inform GM Granta.

Also, I'm implementing a two-strike system. I don't think this is a particularly big deal, but if there is someone who is acting against the purposes of the game, accidentally or not, there will be consequences. The first time a problem crops up, it's an incident. The second, well. I'm not going to wait long enough for a coincidence to become a problem and will discuss with that player how they would like to exit the game.

Again, I don't think this is, strictly speaking, relevant or necessary to everyone, but in order to cut down on the potential for drama, I am informing everyone.
