The pathfinders are dispatched to aid Skelg, a fellow member of the organization who is suffering from a terrible freezing curse. Five weeks ago, Skelg the Ripper, a famed Ulfen warrior from Irrisen and member of the Pathfinder Society, raided the funeral ship of Haldyr Bjornsson, an Ulfen Jarl of Vraisia. He rescued Haldyr's wife, an dice witch named Natalya who was about to be sacrificed on her husband's funeral pyre, and looted the ship. He left Natalya aboard Haldyr's ship to sail where she wished.

2nd level half orc cleric of sarenrae. Played at the last 2 gencons and one PBP game. My zipcode is 52802. There is a game an hour away, but work hours conflict for attendance. Experience wise I have ran the first step series and currently running the Temple of Empyreal Enlightenment. Experience with PBP began last November.

I need to upload my chronicles, but I have a character I'd be willing to submit. I live 45 minutes from the closest PFS game, so idk if that counts as far. But my wife thinks so.
Experience-wise, I've played about 10 sessions, and read a disproportionately large amount of material. So I will at times know niche things that more experienced players don't, but will more often be totally ignorant of something "everybody" knows. That said, nobody RQ in the 10 sessions I played, so I must not be too n00b.
You can look at my aliases to see some of my PbP activity, but I just got into the concept so it's not much.
I have unlimited internet on my phone, so unless I'm sick or something unexpected happens (at some point or another, we all wake up in Vegas missing at least $2,000 and the past 3 days), I should be able to post.
Summary:
Experience - faint
Local games - improbable
PBP experience - faint
Posting - generally reliable

I'd love to join in. I have a couple characters I'd be interested in playing.
Maximo Interresante - Handsome, charismatic, lady's man - but almost completely oblivious to reality. He's a holy knight of Shelyn and sort of a mix of Baron Munchhausen, Puss in Boots, Don Quixote, and the Most Interesting Man in the World. (paladin lvl 1)
Maps - A soft-spoken wanderer with tattoos of exotic maps peeking out from under clothing, giving the impression that his whole body might be decorated with them. A member of the Osirian Faction, he originally comes from Alkenstar and carries a firearm hidden under his coat. (pistolero gunfighter lvl 1/alchemist lvl 1)
Summary:
Experience - moderate
Local games - unlikely (only played one local game ever) 91207 zip
PBP experience - strong (5 years on and off - mostly on other sites)
Posting - reliable

I'll play! I'll play as my half-orc rakshasa-blooded sorceror, Aram. He is shy, naive and prone to getting lost in thought but is very kind.
Experience - low
Local games - unlikely ZIP - 78052
PBP experience - low
Posting - generally reliable(I had several problems with my computer and then spraining my hand, but it's alright now(I just got a new laptop)).
Hey, Curaigh, I just finished one PF society adventure. Should I have gotten experience points or something?

You should have received a full page certificate recognizing your play in the event, and providing a means of tracking your purchases/expeditures, faction points, coin, and, yes, expereince.
If you've read the Guide to PFS play, then you knwo that you get 1 XP per event played, and NORMALLY level up after each block of 3 events. You can take half the gold coin rewards and level after each block of 6 events instead, but I don't know anyone who is actually choosing to do that.

Ah, yes the certificate was sent to me. I'd forgotten about the 1 XP per event(though it's been a year since I read the rules).

There is not the rush I was expecting (especially with the first post within minutes of mine :). I do not need to weed out folks with a local game. This is where we stand
Roger Gilbert: gnome fighter or other...?*
Zaryn Carolingian: half-orc fighter/inquisitor
Aram (Barong): half-orc sorcerer
Maps or Maximo? your choice (Kobash):
D-Kal: undeclared, but I agree with your mate (mates are always right on this count :), that is too far
Strat Spineshank: half-orc cleric
Beckett: undeclared
That is a full table, so on to the discussion thread.
*are you familiar with the rebuild rule of first level folks? You can play a gnome fighter, get the credit and rebuild it into something else later. You must make the change before you get three chronicle sheets (second level), and should not rebuild during the session. With PBP that could be a while.

Thanks for this, Zaryn is technically my last PFS character. I have a system where I take a character to level 7 and then start another one. I am currently on the second one but have a total of 7 characters planned and I gm consistently so I don't get to play as much. So he probably won't see play IRL until season 6...
Korbash I think we have enough meat, Maps might be needed.
