Abomentolor Goblinburner |

"Can you cut that tree open? We need to get Tauriell out of there. And best before she wakes up again. Or she'll be pissed the rest of the week." Abomentolor asks Gwenhwyfar.

Gwenhwyfar Yongisdottir |

"I can try." Gwenhwyfar replies. She walks over and with both hands she rams her spear into the remains of the plant and tries to beak it open.
Damage CdG: 3d8 + 6 ⇒ (5, 4, 6) + 6 = 21
Strength Check: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Strength Check: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 1 = 16

GM Foxy |
While Abomentolor burns the plant and Gwenhwyfar tries to get it open Tauriell is further digested.
Acid: 2d6 ⇒ (2, 5) = 7
Acid: 2d6 ⇒ (3, 2) = 5
Acid: 2d6 ⇒ (2, 2) = 4
Acid: 2d6 ⇒ (2, 1) = 3
But finally the burnt wood breaks and gives Tauriell free. It's a disgusting view. Covered from head to toe in some yellow-green slime.

Abomentolor Goblinburner |

"Ewww. Can you pick her out with your spear? No? Ok, it was just an idea." Abomentolor asks and then casts prestidigitation to get that icky stuff off Tauriell.
"Now grab her. We pull her over there to the entrance and she won't even realize what happened." He grabs her hand and starts pulling.

Tauriell |

Tauriell wakes up again. Sitting on the ground and leaning at the wall she realizes the fight is over. Her armor is deranged, her trousers dirty from the dragging around. In front of her stands Abomentolor with a fake smile and Gwenhwyfar with that inquiring look like the nurse that will check your temperature.
The damage could be worse. Acid is her element and she has a resistance. But the kind of damage tells what happened even though she missed all the action. "Well f*#%. To know what awaits you and running right into it nevertheless is really stupid. Let's not talk about this again, ok?" Tauriell suggests as she gets up.

Abomentolor Goblinburner |

"How much more fight do you have in you?" Abomentolor asks. "For I'm almost empty. I'd suggest flying away. Who's with me on that?"

Tauriell |

Tauriell pulls out her wand of invisibility and ticks Gwenhwyfar with it. "Fly to Gav. We'll meet there."
Then she grabs Abomentolor and pulls him into the house. "Take these halberds with you. They are going to pay our next renovation." she tells Abomentolor.
Into the court room she moves and ticks Jimmy with the wand. "You have three minutes to get the wings off Ardoc and fly down to meet with Gav. There is a mob forming and a lot of official looking constructs are showing up."
Then it goes up to the workshop where she takes the other two halberds. "Cast another reduce person on me and then off through the window."

Abomentolor Goblinburner |

Abomentolor does as told. He follows around and casts the required reduce person on Tauriell. Then he casts a fly and leaves through the window flying to the shop where Gav waits.

Tauriell |

Tauriell ticks Abomentolor as he starts and then uses it on herself and climbs out of the building. She moves to the edge of the balcony and looks for a place without people standing around. Then she jumps and halfway down she casts feather fall. Landing gently she walks into the shop to meet up with Gav too.

Tauriell |

Tauriell considers that really funny and sneaks up to the other side of Gav.
Stealth: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (20) + 19 = 39
Really close to his ear she whispers "You need to get a lot more attentive."

Abomentolor Goblinburner |

Abomentolor lands in the shop and clink-clanks with the halberds at the floor and the shelves. "What are you doing on the ground? You're on the clock. Make yourself useful and carry these."
With another clattering the Halberds come into sight as they hit the floor besides Gav.

Jimmy Fiddle |

It takes Jimmy a while to get into the massive collection of gears, cogs and canvas. It takes him even longer to figure out how to start flying.
After about 2 minutes the crowd can hear a whirring and awkward flapping overhead, but only for a moment before it disappears. Jimmy lands as soon as he can and walks the rest of the way.

Niamh Mugin |

Invisible Niamh watches how everybody disappears out of her view somehow before walking her way out. Standing in the garden she finally decides that she'll jump down. She lays the violin down and jumps. Taking the momentum in a roll she manages to keep the damage slight.
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (16) + 19 = 35
Damage: 4d6 ⇒ (6, 6, 4, 5) = 21
With Mage Hand the halfling fetches the now visible violin and hurries behind the group.

Gav Nahli |

"Are you kidding me?" Gav inquires aghast. "First you start a war in the middle of Bis and then you play games no 100 feet away from the law and order squat?"
"We need to get the hell out of here! Follow me." Gav leads them to the back entrance of the shop and out of Bis and to the Augur Temple in Down Market.

Vargun and the rest of the Augurs are ecstatic to see their friend alive, and walk him quickly to the temple to have a big meeting. As the group of heroes approach they meet them at the steps of their white, columned temple.
Vargun has already employed her network to discover a promising lead regarding the lost shard of the Sihedron. But before she can relate it, however, the crowd of trolls steps back as Augustille falls to the ground in the grips of what looks like a seizure, his back arched and lips frothing. In a hoarse bellow, he cries out the following:
Aklo
The owl will seek but will not find,
but spire of knowledge pays in kind
in secret kept in secret keep
in forest dark and cavern deep.
The abbey of the glutton moon
will f low with blood, the wind in tune
to finish that begun before
and open wide the doomsday door.
The shattered star with seven shards
for seven lords with seven swords
the queen of blue in distant skies
will kindle new the ancient wars.
The seas will rise and men will drown
And what was lost shall claim the crown.
End Aklo
When Augustille is finished, his body relaxes and he returns to his senses. The other Augurs nod sagely and help him up, leading him into the temple. Vargun tell "You've witnessed a genuine prophecy, and
I suspect this one is for you. I'll write it down and translate it to common for you. Also I have a promising lead for you to find that shard."

GM Foxy |
Vargun leads the group into a room where she takes a seat behind a desk and notes the prophesy down and writes the translation on the back. She hands that to Gwenhwyfar.
"I was putting together some pieces of information that have been puzzling me of late. The word on the street is that the Council of Truth — a powerful order of scholars, engineers, and arcanists that vanished without a trace many years ago — has either returned or has been reformed, and people have been seeing the Council’s wide-eyed owl sigil showing up in strange places. Now the Therassic Spire has shut its doors — an unheard-of event for the great institution — and isolated itself from communication with the outside world. I realized the two might be connected, and called in some favors, and was able to discover that the two organizations have quietly put together a team of adventurers to illegally enter the Undercity in search of a powerful artifact — something they refer to as 'the Runelord’s Shard.'"
"I can bring you to the ancient library. Just tell me when you want to go. I guess you need to prepare first?"

Tauriell |

On their way back to the Canary House Tauriell sides with Gav. "If you're not only flirting for fun then you're trying on the wrong girl." looking at him with a teasing smile.

Tauriell |

Tauriell gets the feeling that Gav doesn't appreciate the offer appropriately. And just becoming an item on the races to do checklist turns her off. "Do you know any dragons?" she asks while stroking his chest towards his neck. "For you will get to know one too."
Her fingers turn into claws, her skin becomes coppery and she grows a snout full of pointy dragon teeth. She licks him across the face and with a toothy smile asks "Want me to go down on you?"
