"We're going ta Augustana. Wanna come along?"

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
Mouth open and eyes wide Gav nods and retreats into the short corridor. Once out of sight you hear him running.

Gav comes into the captains room. As he sees what's going on his jaw drops and his eyes widen.

"Yes, and off the ship."

"It's the boatswain who went crazy. He believes to be a mermen and fights everyone who tries to operate the bilge pumps. He is crazy strong and drowned a sailor who didn't take his s#!~."

"As we're short of sailors anyway the captain didn't order to solve the issue yet. Good luck with getting him out."

"Ahoy. Gonna ask the captain for ya. Gimme a minute."

"I'll make sure to send some business your way the next days." Gav replies. Then he empties his drink in one draught and puts some coins on the counter, signing to Kurrelak that it's for the drinks of the two ladies too.

"I have to go. I have some more people I need to meet. Have a good time and see you."

Aithaloessa:
Indeed two days later some nondescript man appears in Cyana's secrets. A traveller of the desers as it looks. He checks indecisively checks the goods offered until he is the only customer.
Then he quickly opens a small pouch and pulls out an item wrapped in fine cloth. "On commission. 300gold."

Aother two days later a woman who's interested in some face creams visits the shop. You get the impression she is some servant buying for someone else. When it comes to paying for that, she opens her purse and younts out 30 platinum coins in addition to the price for the salve. "I assume you have something for me?"

Gav closely follows the conversation with this breaking news.

Perception DC18:
His smile freezes for a split second on hearing he started business with the chief police officer of town.

Hi I'm the dark side... XD

Just imagine Gav without the jolly roger on his head

At Kurrelak's tavern.

Aithaloessa wrote:

She finds her client at the bar and meets him with a smile of her own. "Good news. There's no trouble, after all. I'm pleased that Kelmarane starting to shore up the route between Osirion and the city will be good for both of us."

She offers her hand to shake on it.

"Let's drink to that." the handsome, well dressed and always smiling man from Osirion relpies. "What shall I order for you? My treat."

Jimmy does a precision landing in the crow's nest of the ship. Which is quite the feat as it is moving a lot with the ship rocking in the waves.

"Gav." the sailor introduces himself. "The captain wants to speak with you."

"I forgot his name. But look we're back already. Shall I come tomorrow again to lead you around?" Gav asks obviously wanting to change the topic.

"Lucky guess I think." Gav replies but adds "You have the same belt buckle as the only other Pathfinder I know." pointing at Tauriell's belt.

"I don't think so. Besides you I know of no one." Gav replies.

"And I forgot the major churches which are those of Asmodeus and Abadar. And the Council. But I guess those are not the institutions you're looking for." Gav adds.

"There are a lot of important factions here. Some you have already met. Horus Ilaktya you have met. Black Marin is an important guy of the Freemen. You know - the one who want to free all the slaves. There are some monks - the brothers of the seal but they are useless and they are in clinch with each other. The duskwardens you probably got to know already. Madame Rose, the one who bought the slave girls earlier is an institution. And the Ardocs of course. There are a lot more. I could continue all day about that." Gav replies.

"It's always a pleasure to do business with you, grandma." Gav says and then follows after the others.

"Now back to the Canary House?" he asks.

"You don't have to if you don't want to. I can take my business elsewhere. And it's not my fault you try to outwit the wrong ones. If you like me to bring my customers to you that's 4 gold and 4 silver." Gav states holding out his hand.

Gav hurries over from the shadows "I'm here. Don't make such a fuss. Some people like to keep a low profile. Come, I'll bring you to a shop where you can get your half-orc dressed up."

He then leads them back to Hospice and into a small shop crammed to the roof with the goods. Normal people can navigate through it if no one comes from the other direction. But Hector can only walk in the main aisle without bringing down the well balanced stacks of goods.

"Hi Jim, I brought you some customers." Gav greets the shop owner who is of cause one of his friends.

"The good ones are locked away. The ones that are shown all the time here are just the cheap ones. You can't expect the slavers to let their most valuable wares sit around where they could be damaged or stolen." Gav tells.

Gav shrugs and leads them to the Flesh Block in the Bottoms. "The Flesh Block in Downmarket is the heart of Kaer Maga's slave tarde. Foreign slavers, orcs from Urglin and Belkzen, and even desperate residents looking to sell themselves and their children to pay off bad debts meet here to broker their freedom at all levels, from sharecropping and time-limited indentured servitude to complete slavery. Those seeking to make deals for their own service mingle directly with the crowd of domestic and foreign buyers, while those sold against their will are held in a series of fenced pens and brought up one at a time by one of the professional auctioneers who work the podium and act as brokers, and who sometimes even purchase bedraggled but promising slaves themselves in hopes of fattening them up so they fetch higher prices later on. The buyers are a constantly shifting crowd, as unscrupulous caravans from all over Avistan come to Kaer Maga to unload their own slaves and purchase those of other nations, whose exotic looks and customs fetch higher prices back home. Strangely enough, the Freemen of the Bottoms are the most regular (if belligerent) customers." Gav explains as he makes a wide gesture over the market.

"Usually anything short of crippling or murdering someone will go unpunished." Gav replies. "But that depends mainly on whom you do it to. If you deal with the wrong person you might end up on the wrong side of an entire clan."

"Are we done now with the tour or is there more you'd like to see?"

"Duh. If you say so." Gav replies confused but leads Tauriell and Abomentolor to the Last Rites.

"Where now?" Gav asks.

"Yes I do." Gav confirms.

"Duh... well let me state it that way. My Gov here is unsatisfied with what I could offer and I thought only one of your special 'employees' is able to take that kind of treatment." Gav tells nervously kneading his fingers.

"Okaaay." Gav replies. "I'll talk to you later then. Duty calls." he tells the other guy and takes his leave.

"I think I know just the right spot for you." he tells Tauriell and leads from Hospice straight to Ankar-Te and there to the White Lady.

Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30
Gav flinches. But not from being startled this time. "What do you want me to show you?" he asks making sure he is at least n arm length away from Tauriell.

"Gaaaaah!" Gav shrieks and buckles Tauriell off. He grabs his shirt and flees the room.

"No, but I'm going to get to know you now." Gav answers.

"You elves do rough? Aren't you all in harmony with nature." Gav replies with a grin.

"Why not." he replies and takes off his shirt.

"Alright." Gav replies and follows Tauriell.

Gav takes in the information but doesn't react to it.

As they reach the Canary House Gav asks Gwenhwyfar "Shall I come here tomorrow too? For it's a pleasure to show you around and it's really interesting too."

"Are you kidding me?" Gav inquires aghast. "First you start a war in the middle of Bis and then you play games no 100 feet away from the law and order squat?"

"We need to get the hell out of here! Follow me." Gav leads them to the back entrance of the shop and out of Bis and to the Augur Temple in Down Market.

"Gaaaah!" Gav shrieks and falls over.

"Huaaha!" Gav calls out as the voice of Gwenhwyfar coming out of nowhere close to him startles him so he almost falls over.

"Hey man. I'm only trying to be nice." Gav defends himself. "Wise man is cool. If you want to be Josef."

"I'm not sure. A wise man from the east sounds cool. Would I get a cool cloak and a crown?" Gav asks.

"But playing Josef would also e nice." he says casting an eye on Gwenhwyfar.

Gav gulps visibly but then does as told and runs through the streets to a shop with mage supplies. He can't hold up with the groups record times to storm and conquer the Ardocs house. But after about ten minutes he is back. Heavily panting he hands over the pouches. "Sorry mam. The shop was full of customers and I had to wait in line."

Gav's jaw drops. "You were gone for about five minutes!" Gav exclaims astounded.

"Did something bad happen?" Gav asks his eyes wide as he holds that much money in his hands.

"Whatever you do. Do it quick. Standing around here will draw unwanted attention sooner or later." Gav says. "I'll wait over there in that shop. There works a friend of mine. If you need me you know where to find me."

"No thank you. My guiding doesn't extend into the house of one of the most powerful families in town." Gav declines again.

"Probably. But not human. Maybe some construct jumping out or whatever." Gav replies.

"I have little desire to be squashed by something that shouldn’t be moving in the first place." Gav replies with a refusing gesture. "But I'm sure you can handle that. You and this box of cookies." he adds trying to sound encouraging.

As all are finished Gav leads them to Bis. First to the bakery where he talks the baker into giving a free sample of something delicious called out of someting delicious called gâteau opéra and gives it to Gwenwyfar.

And then on to the Balconies of Bis. Berkanin’s mansion-turned-laboratory is situated on the southwestern wall of Bis, a prominent balcony 40 feet above the f loor of the district, with no other structures beneath it. From below, all that’s visible is the extensive stone buttressing that supports the massive weight of the complex above. The two most obvious ways up are an arched entrance in the wall leading to an enclosed stone staircase (area A1) and a complex affair of ropes and pulleys
attached to a wooden platform that currently rests on the ground (area A3).

"There it is. I'll happily wait for you to lead you back, or where ever you want to go once you're done here."

Gav checks out the buffet and picks the best pieces both sweet and heartily on two plates and serves them to Gwenhwyfar. "Here you are."

"Sure. Shall I get you something from the buffet? I'll get you the best they offer. I know where they get it from and what's fresh and what's not." Gav offers.

"There is a bakery in Bis. Their goods are just as sweet as you are. I'll show you." Gav compliments Gwenhwyfar.
