After leaving the table for a talk with Ameiko, Tauriell decides that sitting in an almost empty inn with people she had around uninterrupted for four days in a row is not to her liking and walks around checking what shops are around.
On her way she meets Niamh as she comes back from Brodert Quink "Oh hello, have you also been shopping?"

What boots do you have?
"If you would like something with a less practical focus and more fashion oriented we have a selection in this shelf here at the wall." showing Mr. Fiddle the selection. "Please feel free to try some on, but we are a bit limited on the sizes. These are mainly for display purposes. Usually they are made on demand specifically for the customer. But maybe you find a pair in your size".

Tauriell |

"I'm looking around for a shop to buy a few things I need in better quality. Like my backpack and such. You know where to go to buy such standard gear?" Tauriell asks hoping to save herself from running around town.

Jimmy Fiddle |

Boots or shoes are not something I have ever seen prices for, so I assume the different outfits come with shoes, I assume the adventurers outfit would have hiking boots or the such. Is that ok?
"Well lets have a look at what you have." Jimmy says placing the shirt and trousers he picked on the counter and walking over to the display. He finds a few nice pairs of shoes but a black leather pair catches his eye. He just hopes they are in the right size. He picks them up and tries them on

Jimmy Fiddle |

Then they fit, not perfectly. But well enough for me to wear them while I have a pair made.
"Can I take these and get a pair like them made as well?" Jimmy says standing up in the shoes. "I quite like them but they don't fit perfectly, but they will do. Let me try on the trousers and shirt and then off to the tailor." He says with a smile

Jimmy Fiddle |

"Well I need a pair for tomorrow you see, that lady I came in here with earlier? I plan to take her on a picnic tomorrow and I thought she might enjoy dressing up, so I thought this could be an excuse to do so." Jimmy says explaining, after coming out of the dressing room, everything fits well, Mrs. Korvaski has a good eye for sizes and cuts. "Actually, where is a good place for a picnic around here?" Jimmy asks walking towards where she pointed for the tailor

As Niamh and Tauriell enter the General store there are quite a few people in it. A farmer checking for a new pitchfork, a young couple checking through some pots and other kitchen tools, the shop owner behind the counter 'helping' the couple and a young lady with bright red hair restocking a shelf.
The shop owner is in a rather sour mood.

The tailor is more than happy to once again make a piece of clothing that gives him the opportunity to shine with his skills.
Laying Gwenwhyfars dress aside he greets Jimmy "Ah, Mr. Fiddle, if I heard correctly. I'm very pleased that I may create such a fine swallowtail for you. Would you please stand here, with your arms stretched out, so I could take your meassurements?" He grabs his measuring tape, and his notepad.

The tailor starts to scurry around Jimmy and takes a lot of meassures. Length of arms, legs, body, shoulder width, neck, breast, belly and waist circumference and you couldn't have imagined where one could put that tape. After quite a while the tailer seems satisfied.
"I have now almost all that I need to start. Just one more thing." and grabbing a pile he lays out some fabric samples. "Would you please choose, what material I should make it from."
I wont tell you what he has, you just tell what you find to your liking

Foxy Quickpaw |

"Oh, call me Shayliss please." and indicating Tauriell to follow she leads her to a selection of backpacks. "We have here some backpacks." but noticing Tauriell already has one on her back continues "But over there are ones of better quality with additional pockets to better organize the contents."

Tauriell |

Taking one of these better backpacks Tauriell checks for the material and the stitches. "I will take this one. I'd also need some tools in a better quality. Do you have such a thing" she asks while taking out her thieves tools out of her backpack and shows them to Shayliss.

Foxy Quickpaw |

"You mean lockpicks? Sure we have." Shayliss whispers shortly checking on Mr. Grumpypants she adds in a conspirative voice "I'll put them in the backpack, while father is still occupied, so he won't ask what you need them for."
With that she moves conspicuously inconspicuous behind the counter putting the backpack on it and stealthyly takes the toolset rolled up in a cloth bag out of a drawer and slips it in the side pocket of the backpack.
"That would make 50 gold for the backpack" she says and where Mr. Grumpy can't see it she signals 150. As Shayliss leans over the counter to hand Tauriell the item her cleavage becomes even more revealing.
google Shayliss Vinder to get an idea

Tauriell |

Tauriell puts 15 platinum on the counter where Mr. Grumpypants can't see them and as Shayliss puts them away, she grabs the backpack. "Thank you very much. Good bye." and leaves the shop.
As they are out, Tauriell asks Niamh "You got bored? I guess you missed the show Shayliss puts on?"

Answering Mr. Fiddle the tailor responds "Oh, you're waiting for that. I will hury to finish it. It's not much, I hope it will only take a few more minutes."
And after a short while the dress is indeed ready and the laces make an incredible difference changing the dress from the ordinary to the extraordinary.

Tauriell |

"I bought a new set of lockpicks. I think I might have gotten some questioning from her old man, if he got wind of what I wanted."
"But I'm talking about her dress. From the height I was looking at her it was quite revealing. Maybe from your point of view it was not that spectacular." Tauriell says with a grin.

Foxy Quickpaw |

No no no young man. You stay here
Mrs. Korvaski accurately folds the trousers, the shirt and the dress and carefully packs them into packing paper tying the packages with a cord. The dress she puts separate. Stacking them, she puts the shoes on top and wraps that all together with an additional layer of paper.
Handing that over to Mr. Fiddle she says "Here you are."

OOoohh Tauriell, also deleted previous post to edit and place after yours
"Thank you" Jimmy says as he collects his goods and heads to the Rusty Dragon with it all tied in a parcel under one arm. In the other he carries a basket with his picnic goodies. With it starting to get dark Jimmy takes extra care not to bump into anybody or step in any puddles to lose his footing. He is incredibly worried about ruining his clothes and Gwen's dress.
Watching the tailor finish the dress, he is ashamed to admit that he can't wait to see Gwen wear it. He keeps thinking back to the shop and how wonderful and elegant she looked in all her gowns. He is incredibly excited for the picnic as well and decides to try find out some more information about the delta and the isle that Mrs. Korvaski suggested he take Gwen to.
Passing by a friendly looking woman peddling fruit out of a stall who is busy packing for the evening, he stops and says to her, "Excuse me ma'am, but I am new in town, and i was wondering where you would suggest taking a lady for a romantic picnic?"
Better?

Tauriell |

"Actually, I never thought about how life would look from your height. Thank you for broadening my horizon." and while they walk along Tauriell adds "Let's head to the rusty dragon again. We need to get a room for the night."

Jimmy Fiddle |

Finding the woman's response quite unexpected Jimmy decides to head to the Rusty Dragon to book a room and maybe as someone in the inn for some advice. Maybe the innkeeper will be more helpful, or if all else fails, perhaps Mrs. Heidmarch could assist. Jimmy discards that idea quickly

The Rusty Dragon is now a bustling place. The locals are enjoying their beer after a hard days work.
As Jimmy stands there a waitress passing with a tablet full of beer mugs asks what he needs, and on the next tour she brings a door key. "That is five silver a night, payable in advance." she says holding out her hand to collect the money for one night.
