"If I throw my fire around without taking care not to hit Tauriell." Abomentolor answers in a serious tone.
Abomentolor tries to hide a smirk.
"Was it the day you told me fire is dangerous and I should not play with it?" Niamh asks him furrowing her brow. "And besides, do you know somebody who could teach me to read someones mind?"
"I can tell you how I do read minds. I ask you a question and then I threaten to burn you if you don't answer." Abomentolor replies.
"So then. What are you thinking? If you don't answer or if you lie you will be blind." Niamh tells him.
"Gwenhwyfar, can you heal blindness?" Abomentolor shouts so that Gwenhwyfar can hear him.
Gwenhwyfar jumps up and runs into the house. "What happened? Who is blind?" she asks afraid what went wrong this time.
"Oh, nobody is blind ." Niamh answers with a mischivous smile similiar with Tauriells'.
"She threatens to blind me if I don't tell her what I think." Abomentolor explains. "And I'm checking my options."
Gwenhwyfar goes to her room and gets her staff. She walks back to the table and hits Niamh on her head., "Bad Niamh. Stop it. No blinding Abomentolor."
Brutus is unhappy with this situation. "Woof, woof, woof" he says towards Gwenhwyfar.
" even if I'm small I'm not a child anymore. And your's not in any event!" Niamh says with an glare that could kill if Niamh would have such a spell.
"I'm doing the cooking, I'm putting the band aids on and if you don't behave then I'm going to discipline you." Gwenhwyfar scolds Niamh waving her index finger around.
"Definitely not. I'm ineducable and I'm not going to listen to a sixteen years old girl!" Niamh tells her sourish but she tries to hide that.
"Behave like a grown up women and I treat you like one. Behave like a four year old and you're in for a serious ass whopping. No matter how embarrassing it is for you to receive that from a 16 year old." Gwenhwyfar replies.
"All right. Tell me any reason why I shouldn't use his" she points her finger on Abomentolor "method of reading someones mind?" Niamh crosses her arms and looks at Gwenhwyfar with small eyes.
"I always thought Abomentolor is pretty single minded. What besides fire should be on his mind." Tauriell asks.
"You can use that all you want, but not on someone of our group. The same as Abomentolor is not allowed to burn someone of our group." Gwenhwyfar explains.
"I'm doing the necessary disciplining myself. You don't have to do that on my behalf." Tauriell says with an evil grin towards Abomentolor.
As it seems nobody's looking at her Niamh disappears with Brutus outside.
"Do you think I should have just asked him?" Niamh asks the dog while walking the way to the labyrint.
"Hey! Where did Niamh go? Don't you dare disappear on me young lady!" Gwenhwyfar shouts after her.
"How should I know, eh... I mean. Woof, Woof." Brutus replies.
"I knew you were a clever dog but I didn't expect you were that smart!" Niamh shrieks after a moment of surprise. "I guess you don't want anyone to know you're speaking,do you?" She asks him while walking through the labyrint.
"Woof!"
"I guess this means "Yes" " Niamh sighs an sits down in the middle of the labyrint to play the transverse flute.
"Woof!" Brutus replies. Then he sits down and ruins Niamh's performance by howling along slightly off tune. "Arooouuuooouuuuoooouuuooouuuuoooouuuooouuuuoooouuuooouuuuoouh!"
Niamh is happy to have someone who likes singing even if it isn't perfect. Yet.
She stops playing and walks back to the house. Niamh stands at the door and whispers something. She also write it into the air. So a little message reaches Tauriell's ears. "When are we going to the dungeon again? I'm bored."
"Is no one here who would simply like to sit here and enjoy the day instead of crawling back to this dark hole? Gwenhwyfar you seem reasonable. What do you say." Tauriell asks.
"Sitting here would be nice. But we have to finish our exploration before someone else finds out about the Crow and ruins it for us. Let me just grab a piece of pie and then we can go."
Gwenhwyfar commands.
Niamh has everything packed so she walks to the gate after she gave Brutus another piece of pie.
"Then we will go back into the dark." Tauriell sighs. "At least there is whiskey there." She gets up and collects all her stuff in her room.
After a few minutes she comes back ready to go.
Abomentolor grabs another piece of pie and gets his backpack from his room. "I'm ready."
Also Gwenhwyfar grabs her stuff and walks outside. "Jimmy. Would you please ready yourself. We are leaving for the next trip to the Crow." shattering his hopes that she might come back to sitting at the tree.
"I shall be with you shortly." Jimmy says running inside to pack all his goods
Ernard walks into the manor grounds just in time. Carl and Ernard get to carry the fresh food. As everyone is ready the troupe marches to the pier and with their boats they row over to the Crow. Along the known path they first walk up all the way to the top and then over the platform and the trap door they move to the other half and then down again to their base camp.
"I think Tauriell and Niamh are next to get a night in the comfortable bed, am I right?" Gwenhwyfar asks.
"Niamh can sleep in there with whoever she wants. But I'm not setting a foot in there." Tauriell replies.
"Me not either! Do you think I forgot there are rats inside?" Niamh asks her a bit disgusted.
"Well. You wanted these rats alive. See how you get your pets out there. We need the room. If not, I'll ask Abomentolor to clean the room out with fire to share the bed with me tonight." Tauriell threatens.
Abomentolor's eyes start to glow as he hears fire. Or is it because of the sharing of the bed?
"Why does everyone command me around today?" Niamh protests but leaves to rectify the problem.
She packs out her flute to play while she is on her way. Niamh searches for creative ideas where to lead the rats. "Brutus, come here!" She shouts.
Brutus comes to the side of Niamh expecting food "Woof!"
"I have an exercise for you." Niamh tells him. "Go and search a room which has a door and which we don't need. Will you?"
"Woof!" Brutus replies looking at Niamh.
"Hear. If you find a room with a door we don't need I will procure you some food. Is that a deal?" Niamh tries to persuade Brutus.
"Woof!" Brutus replies still looking at Niamh.
"You are aware that you're talking to a dog, aren't you?" Abomentolor asks.
"Yeah, but if want to find a room with a door you are welcome to do so." Niamh replies to Abomentolor.
"Why? I don't need one. I have one here. I just need to clean out some rats." Abomentolor replies with a grin.
