Trig Arborfwisk |

Trig calls Mrs. Feathers back from the first world. She appears from her golden portal above and behind the female kobold's head.
Move up a bit.
Standard action; Summon eagle
Bite (Higher Ground): 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 3 + 1 = 8
Talon (Higher Ground): 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 3 + 1 = 22
Talon (Higher Ground): 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 3 + 1 = 19
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 11d4 ⇒ 21d4 ⇒ 4

Feora Morningtide |

Feora seems to be in a daze, following everyone and just marvelling at where they are. When she sees the kobolds she shrieks and slips over behind Horatio, using him as a human shield.
Move to get behind Horatio, and I guess use fight defensively basically hiding behind Horatio to shield herself. Question is does he provide partial or total cover?

GM Hills |

Watching as her first kobold minion is dispatched so quickly, the female takes a quick step back and fires again, focusing on the warrior who killed her minion.
1d20 + 11 ⇒ (3) + 11 = 14 I forgot to include her PointBlank in the first rolls...
1d4 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
As the arrow flies, the eagle is able to take a shot at the kobold.
1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 3 + 1 = 17
1d4 ⇒ 2
But fails to strike, just as the arrow does. Which causes her to growl viciously.
The other kobold drops his sling and then pulls his spear and pokes at Olivius.
1d20 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11
1d6 - 1 ⇒ (2) - 1 = 1
Leaving the warrior unscathed.
Heroes GO!!!!

Horatio A. Aldebrandt |

Partial or full cover? How big do you think I am? ;-)
As Feora moves up behind him, Horatio shifts his stance to better defend her. Well, this is a first. Never been a meat shield before, he thinks dryly, twirling his bow before putting it to the strings. "Getting rather tired of this tune," he mutters. "Might be time for a new one soon."
Activate performance as a standard action; stow violin as a move.

Trig Arborfwisk |

The eagle strikes at the female kobold again, while Trig whirls her sling and unleashes a bullet at the her as well.

Bite (IC, Higher Ground): 1d20 + 3 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 3 + 1 + 1 = 9
Talon (IC, Higher Ground): 1d20 + 3 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 3 + 1 + 1 = 19
Talon (IC, Higher Ground): 1d20 + 3 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 3 + 1 + 1 = 11

Sling on Female kobold: 1d20 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (14) + 2 - 4 = 12

Olivius Telraven |

Olivius follows the female in her steps. He feigns high, then strikes from the right.
Attack female: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 4 + 1 = 16
damage: 1d6 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 6 + 1 = 13

Feora Morningtide |

Feora stands her ground behind the human pillar that is Horatio, as she is unsure what she can do at this point. She instead decides to hang back and watch for now.
Full round duck and cover behind Horatio. Total defense action.

GM Hills |

Another step back and the kobold female looses another arrow at Olivius.
"Marfedelom ekess shio munthreki!"
1d20 + 11 ⇒ (9) + 11 = 20
1d4 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Once again, the arrow sneaks into a sweet spot on Olivius, cutting into his flesh.
The other kobold steps sideways and lashes out with his spear.
1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18
1d6 - 1 ⇒ (4) - 1 = 3
And his spear skips off Olivius's shield, barely getting batted away by the fighter.
Heroes Go!

Olivius Telraven |

Again with the pain! Olivius puts it out of his mind and focuses his attacks on the female.
I can't exactly see the squares, so I'm not sure this is possible, but I want to:
Olivius dashes up, accepting that he might get attacked from behind by the smaller lizard, and attempts to pin the female against the wall, thus preventing her from step-firing again without opening herself up for an attack.
attack: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 4 + 1 = 14
Damage: 1d6 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 6 + 1 = 8

GM Hills |

You will have to attack first, then step. But you can easily do that...especially since...
When Olivius turns to the poor kobold that had attempted to penetrate his defenses, he gives teh kobold a lesson on how to use a spear and cuts through the creature like it was nothing. Then he follows up on the archer kobold.

Trig Arborfwisk |

Mrs. Feathers flies around behind the kobold archer and tries to bite her.
Bite (Flanking, Higher Ground, IC): 1d20 + 3 + 2 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 3 + 2 + 1 + 1 = 15
Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Trig runs up and tries to daze the kobold with a spell.
DC 15 will save or she's dazed for one round.

Horatio A. Aldebrandt |

"Wish I knew what they were saying," Horatio mutters, shaking his head. Wanting to help Olivius, but not wanting to leave Feora on her own, he draws his shortbow and fires.
Not sure if I can shoot over the rubble, but if I can, I'll do so - attacking at 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7 for 1d6 ⇒ 1 damage. If I can't shoot over the rubble, I'll just take total defense/chillax. Either way, with those rolls, looks like a big pile o' NOPE.

Olivius Telraven |

attack: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 4 + 1 = 6
damage: 1d6 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 6 + 1 = 8
Olivius deftly reverses his grip for the backswing strike, but the attack is aimed for a taller creature, and it sails over the short female's head.

Feora Morningtide |

Feora mumbles something under her breath, still a bit freaked out by the lizard looking thing, and pushing Horatio forward gently.
Casting Guidance on Horatio, continuing to hide behind him.

Trig Arborfwisk |

The eagle attacks again. Trig cheers for Olivius and Mrs. Feathers.

Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 21d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 31d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

GM Hills |

After standing there clueless for a moment, the kobold shakes her head as if she is shaking off a bit of fog and drops the bow in her hands and draws a short sword, lashing out at Olivius, as his spear is clearly the most dangerous of those attacking her, having dodged all the other attacks while in her stupor.
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
1d4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
And she is capable of another deep gash on Olivius, this time striking him just above the knee, only to be swatted away by the edge of his shield.
Heroes go!
Sorry for the delay, was at the doctor much of yesterday. Also, as a heads up, I may disappear for a couple of days at some point in the next few weeks, as my wife is 9 months pregnant, so we are expecting anytime now

Olivius Telraven |

This kobold was proving more of a challenge than Olivius expected. He barely catches the short sword, but does his best to make an opening from the deflected swing. Since his shield is already low, he slots his shoulder in behind it and drives the shield forward. With any luck, she'll hit the wall hard.
bullrush: 1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 7 + 1 = 9
But his shoulder slips, and he's left with no power for the maneuver until he can reposition it.
Dagnabit!

Feora Morningtide |

Feora gasps and sees Olivius in trouble, and skirts her way around the rubble to try and get up to where she can help.
Double move up and around the outside edge of the room, getting in position for next turn, if there is one.

Horatio A. Aldebrandt |

"Desna's stars, Olives, you're keeping us all on our toes, aren't you?" Horatio laughs, though his face is pale with fear. Oh gods, we could all die down here!
He dashes over the rubble, skidding to a halt just behind Olivius, drawing his rapier. "Hey!" he calls to the kobold. "Why don't you pick on someone else for a change?!"
I'd like to get as close as possible, and draw my rapier. That's two move actions, otherwise I'd throw in an attack, too. Also, hope all goes well with the baby, Hills! Congratulations to the both of you!

GM Hills |

The eagle slashes once again.
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 21d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 31d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Fligg also claws at the kobold.
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 71d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
1d3 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 31d3 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
The eagle manages to draw blood once again, but the fey has no such luck.
The kobold is clearly getting worried, but she doesn't appear to be ready to give up yet, hoping she has found the opening on Olivius.
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23
1d4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
And her worry nearly vanishes as she sinks her blade into Olivius's flesh, cackling as she does it.
Heroes go!

Olivius Telraven |

Olivius grunts as the blade slides home. Oddly, it doesn't hurt, but his body is suddenly less responsive. He vaguely hears his spear clattering to the ground. He fumbles the vial of demon blood from his belt and swigs.
It burns like fire going down and keeps burning in his gut. Soon, the fire spreads to his limbs.
Draw and drink potion. Heal 1 HP. Currently at 1 HP

Feora Morningtide |

"OLIVIUS!" Feora screeches at the top of lungs, and moves forward unconsciously. Her cautions thrown to the wind as she had to do something. Make it stop, have to stop the hurting, have to..., have to make it stop..., gotta do something..., have to..., the fire..., the hurting..., make it... She finally screams out... "STOOOOOP!"
She quickly moves up and around, and as soon as she has a clear shot, her arms are already wreathed in the fires she called up once before. Her voice is an echoing cacophony as she invokes Sarenrae.
Virgo Aurora cremer igne iudicii!
Move up, aims Burning hands due East, which should catch the kobold, and once again another eagle. Sorry Trig! Don't hurt me too much!
Burning Hands: DC 16 reflex: 4d4 ⇒ (2, 1, 1, 1) = 5
Rounds of Burning Magic: 1d4 ⇒ 2

Horatio A. Aldebrandt |

As Feora's fire rushes past him, Horatio feels the music finally die, the last notes of the allegro fading from his mind. For one brief, terrifying moment, there is absolute silence, and he's back in a grey Korvosan apartment, holding his breath, waiting for the end.
Then the sound of the fire whooshing out yanks him back to the present, and he's lunging, his father's second-best rapier flashing in the dying firelight.
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1

Trig Arborfwisk |

Bite (Flanking, Higher Ground): 1d20 + 3 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 3 + 2 + 1 = 19
Talon (Flanking, Higher Ground): 1d20 + 3 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 3 + 2 + 1 = 10
Talon (Flanking, Higher Ground): 1d20 + 3 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 3 + 2 + 1 = 12
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 11d4 ⇒ 31d4 ⇒ 3
Sling: 1d20 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (2) + 2 - 4 = 0
Trig flings another rock at the Kobold, while the eagle continues to shriek and attack it.

Horatio A. Aldebrandt |

"Surrender?!" Horatio's tone is incredulous, but he halts his attack. The point of his rapier hovers at the kobold's throat, perhaps an inch from the scaly skin. He kicks the spear away, making sure it leaves her reach. "Why the sudden change of heart?"

Feora Morningtide |

Heal: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (1) + 10 = 11
The very second she surrenders, Feora rushes to Olivius's side, trying to ease him to the ground and pulling out her healing kit. Her eyes are filled with tears as she frantically starts to pull out vials and starts cleaning his wounds, trying to get a handle on herself. She is a wet mess, not really being able to get things in the right place. She misses where her ointments should go, she accidentally pushes to hard on a couple of places, her fear for his life overwhelming her senses and her thoughts as she tries her hardest to keep him alive. In her work, she is not even registering that he drank the vial of imp blood, and as a result is clueless to its work on his body.
"Dammit..., don't you go and bleed out on me. Come on, why can't I do this? What's wrong with me!" Feora keeps babbling and fumbling around as she feebly tries to bandage him up.

Olivius Telraven |

Olivius stumbles to the ground as soon as the threat is subdued. His mind blazes with pain from his wounds and fire from the imp's blood. It takes a full minute for his mind to clear. As Fionn tries to tend to his wounds he moans and grunts.
Finally his mind surfaces from his pain. He he grabs Fiora's hand firmly and gasps, still a little disoriented.

Feora Morningtide |

Feora shivers as he grabs her hand. It would feel incredibly fragile, almost to the point that just his firm grip would be close to hurting her. She winces a little, looking him over.
"Are you ok..., what's wrong? Where does it hurt? What can I do? Maiden's light you scared me!"

Olivius Telraven |

Olivia's slowly releases her hand and rolls slowly to his side, then pushes himself up with a groan. I'm not healed fully. He pants, By Asmodeus! That Devil's blood is a trip!

Feora Morningtide |

Feora gasps at him in shock, then goes to slap at him in the face area.
Unarmed attack at Prone Olivius: 1d20 - 4 + 4 ⇒ (10) - 4 + 4 = 10
Her hand misses, instead catching the shoulder of his armor, which she starts holding her hand in pain, and winces as she looks at him. "What in the goodness of Sarenrae did you take that abominable blood for! That foulness can corrupt the soul! You light blinded fool!" She keeps trying to hit him, but her attempts are half hearted at best, and its more a function of her worry, and frustration than actually trying to hurt him. And after a few very weak swings she just breaks down and starts to sob on the ground.

Olivius Telraven |

Olivius doesn't even try to avoid the blows and they bounce off his armor. He is about to retort and ask her who exactly she thinks she is for telling him not to save himself from death, but then she breaks down and he recognizes the worry.
He crawls over and rubs her back gently until she calms down in spite of the fire it spreads across his ribs.
