Background:
Feora is an orphaned Flame oracle of Sarenrae. She is originally from Taldor, in a small fishing and river trading village upstream from Oppara. According to what she has been told, Feora at a young age lost her family in a fire at her home, due to a home accident where a lantern was knocked over, causing the entire house to be set alight, the family still asleep. She was pulled out of the flame by a Paladin of Sarenrae, but her body was brutally burned, her arms blackened and scorched. Having lost her family, the shrine took her in, and raised her as their own.

As she was growing up, Feora kept her body wrapped up in bandages constantly, mainly her arms, which has been the only part of her body that the clerics could not heal. It has caused her to be shy around others, but she shows strong spirit, and forceful personality at times, and doesnt let anything keep her down long. She is very fearful of fire, and actively tries to avoid it, but deep down fire is also representative of her resolve and her temper. Her shyness tends to pervade her normal dealings with people, and has a healers heart and a gentle spirit, but when goaded past her considerable patience, her calm spirit can turn into a wildfire very quickly. She struggles because her arms do not function well, a holdover from her accident, and at times finds herself unable to do simple tasks for simple lack of strength, though she tries her hardest not to show her pain or tears. This also feeds into her idea that she has to do things for herself, and often takes offense to being offered help, not because she doesnt need it, but because she feels that it is an afront to the many years of struggle she has gone through to try and overcome her disability.

Her training in the church has mainly been in things that she tries to challenge herself in to try and overcome her disabilities. She always keeps her healers kit on herself. She does her best to treat the small diseases and ailments of people around her, though feels that her skills as a devoted of Sarenrae don't match up to the requirements of a true healer. She always carries an iron holy symbol on her person, as she quickly found growing up that the wooden ones she was given always seemed to catch fire and burn up. She prays for and performs simple blessings for those that come in, that the formal clerics and priests don't have the time to see.

Much of her journey has been because that she doesnt seem to fit in well with the clerical order, and in truth at times she questions her faith. She struggles because when she cries out for reprieve from her own ailments, she gets no response, but then at times her voice is a clairion call when she offers up the pains of others. Though she does carry weapons, and has armor she wears, her physical disabilities severely hamper her ability to fight, and that both frustrates and frightens her. But when she is afraid or in harms way, Sarenrae at times will answer her cries with the Sun's flames, and for her defense they burn hot. At times it frightens her the power that she has been given, and as such she tends to shy away, as she at heart is a healer.
