She sighs, she would have to be careful how she handled Rajni's feelings. Obviously Shamara is very important to Rajni and almost losing her did something horrible to the young woman but she couldn't allow Rajni to lose herself in her anger. Looking up at Rajni from where she examines the boots of their fallen adversaries she says, "Rajni...you did a great job out there and did exactly what you should.....but, don't allow your feelings to get in the way of your judgement okay? These....whoever they are, are obviously a threat...so we'll deal with them accordingly. Just....just take a few deep breaths and realize that your friend is alright and we'll do our damndest to make sure it stays that way."
She nods her head, suddenly feeling very ashamed for how angry she got at Tesia earlier. It wasn't the druids fault that she didn't know about her past and touched her in a way that brought back old memories. Wiping her eyes she takes a few deep breaths and lets them out slowly, "Okay....I....I'm sorry I got so angry before. It didn't really have anything to do with you....not really. I just...I can't talk about it...not yet."
She nods, "It's alright, I completely understand."
"We're a team Rajni, and make no mistake that anyone who raises a finger against one of us, will face the wrath of all of us. And I'm pretty sure you'll get the chance to put a few more enemies in the ground before this is over, as dangerous as this place is shaping up to be. But we're also here to figure out what's going on and do what's best for Valwick." Rhadaya says squeezing Tes' hand as she speaks.
Tesia nods in agreement, thankful for Rhy's support she squeezes her hand back. Looking at Rajni she says, "That's right, we're all in this together and we'll get home together."
The battle obscured many of the footprints. Judging by your enemies' footwear, they were the ones who ruined the fire pit. Some footprints approach the watchtower and some seem to head away from it, heading north.
Looking at the others she says, "Yup...these are part of the ones that we're tracking. Looks like some came here to the watchtower, and some headed North."
"I don't think I need any of this right now," Clara says. "So do we go after them?"

"It would be better to track them than have them track us."
She nods, "I would have to agree."
Rajni doesn't say anything, she just stays close to Shamara as she uses her shirt to wipe her eyes.
"I'd like to keep the scroll and wand handy. I've seen the spell before and I could cast it to make us all invisible at the same time if we need to be. The wand can make for a good signal flare like our initial plan." Rhadaya says looking over the equipment.
She nods and hands them to Rhy, "Okay, here ya go love. Sounds good to me."
Thinking about things for a minute as she puts the rest of the stuff in her bag for the moment she says, "We should definitely finish going through the watchtower and make sure no more of those a~%+%*%s are around here....but I'm not sure about following them further North. I'm feeling torn between tracking them North, finding them and killing every last single one of them, and continuing onto the volcano to see what all this business is about and to see if there's a way we can put a stop to it, or at least keep it from spreading. I'm more worried about the more immediate threat to Valwick at the moment? I don't know...what do the rest of you think?" She asks as she is unsure of what they should do at this point beyond finishing out the watchtower and resting.
"There's no telling how far this problem has spread, but the volcano is definitely the source," Clara says. "Unless there's evidence that we should head north, I think we should head to the volcano after some rest."
"You have keen eyes, Tesia," Ashram says. "Why don't you search the area around the watchtower before we make a decision?"
She nods, "I see the validity of both of your points, but I will search around the watchtower then. If there are more of them, we'll deal with them here and now." She says before heading to the watchtower to search around it for any useful information that the enemy might have left.
She leaps out of the sled after giving Shamara a final pet and telling her to stay, "Wait...wait Tesia, I can't let you go into unknown danger without some back up. I'm coming with you." She says as she takes her bow off her back to give Tesia cover fire if she needs it as she goes with her as well. She follows at a bit of a distance and tries to stays hidden as they go.
She gives the fetchling a small smile as she nods, "Very well, just be careful."
She then begins searching with the area directly around the watchtower.
Tesia finds evidence of a struggle and faint trails of something or someone being dragged north. The watchtower itself is empty.
She shakes her head, "It doesn't bode well for whoever was here before these jerks arrived. It looks like there was some kind of struggle and there are faint trails of something...or someone being dragged north. The watchtower is empty, so it's safe to rest in for now." She kind of shrugs, "So...what should we do?"
"We rest for now," Clara says. "I'll take first watch."
Rajni looks up, "Shamara and I will take second watch."
"I can take the last watch." Rhadaya says taking in the tower.
Walking over to her love she gives her a kiss, "We can take it together, four eyes are better than two."
Resting her head against Tesia's shoulder with a smile Rahadaya responds. "Always. I guess in that case we should eat and get some sleep, sweetheart."
She nods as she caresses her loves cheek, "Alright, I'll get our rations and water." Giving Rhy another soft sweet kiss on her lips she goes to their bag and gets out the rations and water before going back over to Rhy and sitting down with her to eat.
Ashram creates some food and water. "Better save those...in case something happens to me."
"Don't tempt fate Ashram, practical is all well and good, and you definitely make sense but still." Rhadaya says glancing at the cleric.
She looks at him, "She's right, don't say things like that Ashram. You don't know what the future holds."
"Sorry but I'm just trying to be realistic here."
She shakes her head, "No....I refuse to buy that. We're all going to make it through this and we're all going to make it back home. Now stop being so negative about things, you have to believe that everything will be alright."
"I wasn't being negative," Ashram says, shaking his head.
Rhadaya brings Tes' hand to her lips, squeezing her hand as she does. Her wife's passion was one of the things Rhadaya loved so much about her, but she was coming to realize that Tes' intensity could be a little overwhelming for some people.
Realizing that Rhy was trying to calm her she pulls Rhy into a loving embrace and lays her head against Rhy's shoulder as she looks at Ashram, "I'm sorry....I...I don't know what's wrong with me."
Rajni sighs as she pets Shamara and listens to the exchange. Turning to face Tesia she says, "Nothin's wrong with you....you're just tired from so much intense fighting. It's been a really long day, you and Ms. Rhadaya should just eat and get some rest. I'm sure you'll feel better once you wake up."
"Thanks Rajni, I think you're absolutely right. We could all use a few hours' rest." Rhadaya says giving the Fetchling a grateful smile as she gently rubs Tes' back.
Looking over at Rajni she seems a bit shocked. Is she....trying to make me feel better? Wow...that kinda came out of nowhere.
She nods her head as she finishes her own rations and lays down next to Shamara in the sled, "Yup...sure could. Mr. Ashram, just wake me up when it's my turn to take watch okay?" She says before curling up next to her furry companion.
Ashram nods.
Still holding onto Rhy she says a bit softly, "Actually....I don't feel that hungry...."
The night passes uneventfully. The roar of wildlife in the distance marks the rising of the sun.
"Are you ok honey?" Rhadaya asks quietly.
She nods, "Yeah...I just....I think I'm to the part of being tired that my stomach doesn't feel like having food put in it. I'll be okay, I'm not gonna die from not eating for one night." She says as she leans into Rhy.
"Damn right. You're not allowed to die, didn't you know?" Rhdaya whispers giving her wife a gentle kiss. "Let's just get some rest love, it's been a long, emotional day, but all that really matters is we end it in each other arms."
She nods her head again as she lays out their sleep stuff and lies down next to Rhy, cuddling with her under the blankets. Holding Rhy she plays with her wife's hair, "I'm sorry....I don't mean to worry you or anything."
Rhadaya can feel the day's tension draining away as she lies in her wife's arms. "It's ok, there's nothing to be sorry for. I'm always going to worry about you, and you're always going to worry about me. Just knowing that is the best feeling. I love you." she says yawning.
The sensation of having her hair played with was relaxing and extremely comforting at the same time, something she'd never experienced before.
Leaning into her wife she gives her a soft kiss as her hand lingers on the soft skin of the nape of her neck and her other continues to play with her hair, "I love you too, lots and lots. I'm really sleepy now though." She says as she seems to curl into her wife, even though she's the bigger of the two of them.
"Then sleep sweetheart." she says resting her hand on the curve of Tes' back. "I'm right here in your arms where I belong, and I'll be here when you wake up." her voice practically a whisper.
