Shamara lets out a pitiful yewol as the arrows strike her in the side. Seeing her companion nearly felled, Rajni lets out a blood curdling scream, "Shamara!!! NOooo!!! Shamara...its's okay...fall back and rest." Shamara moves back to the sled and manages to crawl inside.

Rajni knows that every single one of these men is as good as dead now.

Tesia locks eyes with the archer, "That was a very big mistake." She says as her eyes crackle with electricity and flinging her hand forward a bolt of electricity flies towards the one that dared attack Rajni's furry companion once she steps back a bit.

Able to feel her opponent as he steps back, Rhadaya grins as the creature casts a defensive spell. "Nice, trick. Won't help." she says quietly, her body taking on a crackling bluish white glow as her entire form transforms into a bolt of lightning surging straight forward ant tearing through the enemy to re-materialize 10ft behind him, still within the fog.

Those outside see only the flash of lightning and hear the roar of thunder within the roiling mist.

Rhadaya's spell puts an end to the serpentfolk who falls in a heap, its images vanishing. The bulky serpentfolk stabs and bites at Alethiro.

Seeing Alethiro get hurt pretty badly, Rajni puts aside her anger at the one that hurt her Shamara and focuses both her attacks on the beefy snake head.

Though she tries to assist Alethiro, as she's distracted by her severely wounded friend only one of her arrows manages to strike beefcake.

Even as she feels the arrow pierce her, she sucks in a breath and steps up to flank with Clara as she brings her scimitar down in two swinging arcs against their enemy, "Back off Muscle Head!!"

Not used to feeling such anger towards someone, she steps in a bit off balance and only manages to hit him once while her other swing goes wide.

Locking her eyes on the archer, Rhadaya grasps the rod at her hip, drawing additional power as she sends a bolt of lightning cracking towards the enemy that dared shoot at her wife, the electricity dancing and lingering in the air.

Rhadaya's spell hits the hunter, while the muscular serpentfolk continues to attack Alethiro, the softest target.

Moving a bit closer to her target, she aims at the one that keeps attacking Mr. Ale....Alethiro. She still had trouble referring to him by his first name, though she was trying. There was only one thing that she knew with absolute certainty right now, that none of these a+~#%++s would come out of this alive after what they did.

Moving up she steadies her bow and fires a single shot at the jerk face. moving to H13

Looking at Alethiro she says, "Cleric....heal thyself."

Like Physician heal thyself....I thought it sounded funny."

Alethiro backed away from the over-sized two-legged lizard and took Rajni's words to heart. "Pharasma, heal thy servant." The Elf said as he raised his hand, which soon became surrounded by white energy about the same brightness of a faint torch. Placing his hand on his chest, the energy dissipated into tendril-like streams that moved and sealed his wounds.

Move to G-16.

With Alethiro's attacker defeated, the hunter decides to stay and fight. He levels his bow at Clara.

Tesia moves closer to the a&&*%$@ archer and unleashes another bolt of lighting, though less severe than the ones before it, it still manages to do some damage.

Shamara stays down in the sled as she's still hurting from her wounds that aren't completely healed.

Still feeling quite angered over what was done to her precious Shamara as well as her other companions, Rajni fires off two more of her own shots at the bastard who continues to attack them.

Damage for all the damn good it'll do: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10

Attack Again!: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19

In her anger she still only manages to hit him once.

Rajni's arrow puts an end to the hunter.

Tesia goes to Clara and puts her hands on her to heal her wounds.

A glow emanates from her hands as she places them on the wounded Paladin and concentrates quietly on the task of healing her.

As she's healing her she says, "Why don't we look over these guys and see if they had anything useful on them?"

She nods, "You're welcome, glad I could help." She then walks over to Shamara, "Such a brave girl. Did that awful man hurt you?" As they glow softly with a soft warm light she places them on Rajni's faithful companion.

Slinging her bow back over her shoulder, Rajni runs to the sled and jumps up in it next to Shamara throwing her arms around her. "Oh Shar....I'm so sorry. Are you okay?" She looks at Tesia with tears in her eyes, "Is she going to be okay? I thought....when I saw her get hit by that bastard I thought....I thought..." The rest of her words are lost as she buries her face in her friends soft fur and hugs her.

Shamara purrs softly as she wraps a paw around Rajni and licks her face.

Taking a step back Tesia makes sure not to touch Rajni but says, "She'll be alright now Rajni. A decent rest and she'll be good as new. It's okay now, everything's alright."

Not really sure of how to comfort the prickly young woman since she didn't seem to like being touched she sort of looks at the others before turning her attention back to the distraught fetchling. Taking a breath she says softly and with as much compassion as possible, "Rajni....you didn't loose her honey. She's still right here and she'll be okay now. I understand that you're upset, but we have to keep moving. There are still five of these bastards around here somewhere and it's not safe to stay here. Let's finish searching these fools and then we can keep moving...okay?"

With a thought Rhadaya dispels the dense mist, the obscuring weather effect evaporation, leaving only the sorceress standing over the body of her fallen foe as she pulls the arrow out of her leg. "@#$%ing bastard! Damn that hurt." she swears, glaring at the corpse of the archer some distance away.

She smiles slightly seeing the interaction between Rajni and Tes. Combat had a way of either making group tensions worse or evaporating them completely. Few things were a better bonding experience that taking on something trying to kill you both.

Looking over the stuff Tesia says, "Hhmm...is there anything here that any of us can use? Is there anything that someone can use immediately, or in the near future? Otherwise, I have this huge bag...I know it doesn't look like much from the outside, but it holds massive amounts of stuff. We could put whatever we don't use in it and after we get all done and sell whatever we don't need, we can split it."

Going over to Rhy she looks her over, "How badly are you hurt and where?" She says with slight worry in her voice even though there's the barest hint of a smirk on her face, "I really loved watching you hand their asses to them. I think we all did a really good job and for the most part kept our injuries to a minimum....so that's good. We had a couple close calls, but no fatalities...so we'll just have to be more careful in the future." She says as she gently caresses her wife's cheek.

"Not that bad now that Ashram just pretty much closed it up." Rhadaya responds giving her wife a kiss. "How about you? It was...fun watching you put those bastards down too." she replies, the drop in tone and slight widening of her eyes making the rush of battle and it's effect on her clear.

After a few moments she seems to remember everyone else there, blushing slightly.

She gives her a smile as she's kissed and her ears turn a light shade of pink, "It was....something alright. It makes me eager to get back home." Her eyes twinkle mischievously as she gives Rhy a light squeeze.

Trying to think her more...naughty thoughts from her head she responds to Rhy's question, "I'm alright, I feel fairly confident that I could totally kick some more ass if need be."

"Oh there's definitely no doubt about that." Rhadaya replies, her grin every bit as mischevious. Taking a deep breath she makes herself refocus.

"So here's a question. Did the squad we're following completely avoid falling into an ambush like this one or fall prey to it?"

She shrugs, "Unless they're part of the squad we were following."

Tesia goes to one of the bodies and checks the boots they're wearing to see if these could be part of the same group they were following.
