Senne-you try the key on both the chests. It spins round in the red chest, but breaks into dust in the steel chest.
Hans-when you put your key in the red chest, the chest clicks open a crack without you even spinning the key.
perception checks, everyone

Everyone else is busy trying to understand what the keys, chests, and jars are, but Calogero hears a small click and sees a key descend from the ceiling attacked with a thread. Its 15 feet up in the air.

![]() |

Its not graceful, but Hans climbs up two walls, get to the top and jumps. He manages to grab the key, but he does come to the ground with a crash. But, he has a key.

The chests opens with a bright flash of light, and for a second Han's your blue, but then through shear force of will you regain your color.
Inside the chest is a map as well as a wand.
It is a wand of knock
With that the door behind you all opens, and in steps the foot man. He says Ah, I see you have found the map. The master will be most pleased. Since you found the map in the most careful way, the master will most assuredly grant the Pathfinders the chance to explore the ruins beneath Sothis. Please take the wand with you as a gift. It will prevent events like this from happening to you again.
Would any of you like to say anything to the footman?

Standard Pregen |

Hans raises an eyebrow, but nods, and comments dryly:
"Very well. I am glad to hear that we were able to live up to expectations."
He then turns to the others.
"Shall we continue? I think that it is time to get back to the Lodge..."

You all head out of the lodge, and begin to walk back to the lodge. Its been a long day, you've been all over this city, and you've had to do everybody else's work. As you round a corner, you see a group of ruffians. At their head is are two nasty looking twins who have masks on their faces and necklaces with masks onD1 and D2, behind them is a women covered in glowing tattoos H, an angry looking man with a bandoleer of daggers and a rapier w, and a crazed looking hafling L. Noting that the ruffians appear prepared to charge, and knowing that they will only be able to mount a one-person front if they choose to do so, Hans holds his action, ready to attack when one of them does so.
