"I see," he commented, a part of him had hopped that beserker might've been able to take his foe down by himself last night; but perhaps this was for the best. "Do you know what class your friend was summoned under? Would he have someway of tracking you?" he inquiered, the last question with a hint of worry; his magecraft might be good enough to beffudle most mortals, but he was unsure how it could hold up against a servants if push-came-to-shove.

10:30 am
“Hello again Miss.” Amelia greeted weakly, she thought about sneaking around her but considering how quickly they were found last time she decided against it, a direct greeting would be better to show they hold no hostility the magus thought.

The blue haired woman took a deep breath, “Y-You see my colleague here wants to inspect the area because of her line of work. So um I hope you won’t mind us being in the area, we will be sure to stay out of your way.” Despite mustering all her courage, it was a frail plea. As much as she wanted to prove her usefulness to her family, in the end she still abhorred fighting and confrontation.

9:30 AM-ish

Elizabeth seethes and growls, "Come on, Avenger." She stomps off, looking for a good place to rest. She enters the first peaceful-looking coffee shop or similar thing she finds, settles into a secluded table, and concentrates. If it was a race he wanted, it was a race he'd get.

Idaliseviel displayed a bored expression. She crossed her arms across her chest as she slightly tilted her head to the side, continuing to make direct eye contact with the Harlow before her. She then dropped her shoulders with a small sigh, "I suppose if we go by that logic you seem correct." She paused, then glanced back towards the group of people behind him, "If what you're saying is ultimately true as your goals in the war, then by that assumption... shouldn't you have summoned a stronger servant?"

The homunculus then lightly placed her hand over her mouth as if she had said something that wasn't meant to slip out. "Excuse me, that was rude. Although sometimes things can't help but stumble out I suppose."

Isamu sighed, taking the time to maul over Beserker's words; a small part of his mind complaining that it was still far too early in the day for this. It took a few assumptions, but once he thought he'd pieced it all together he spoke up to confirm. "So, your friend's this wars' Caster. Joy," he spoke out loud to confirm his interpretation, quietly cursing his fatigue the night before. He should've stayed up until Beserker returned; it seemed such a foolish decision in hindsight.

He'd have to discuss the matter with his parents soon enough. Granted the fact they weren't under attack yet was a good sign. "Alright then, what type of man is your foe? Is he likely to devout himself to hunting you down, or is he more likely to wait until you run into each other again? Is he likely to come at us head on, or lure us into a trap? Have you been able to defeat him before, or do your bouts usually end like last night? Most importantly, what can you tell me of his abilities?; and what I should expect from him and be wary of?" he inquired, some of these would mean little depending on what kind of Master this Caster had been paired with; but it was still valuable information if he could get it.

By the looks of things, he'd need every edge he could get his hands on.

Ah the pains of a Berserker class servant, you can't tell what it is even if he was telling you something.

Isamu scratched his scalp slightly, "Assuming his master doesn't force the issue with a command seal, or tries to act without his knowledge anyway..." he added before sighing in defeat, it was clear Beserker wasn't going to budge. Given their history, it seemed like he'd have to trust his judgement on this one.

"Okay, I'll leave Caster in your hands then. I won't mess with your duels with him unless my hand is forced; though I'd appreciate it if you give me the heads up before duking it out, bonus points if you can keep it away from civies. That said, given the nature of your conflict somebody might try to use it against us; be it Caster's master, or another Servant. So, at some point I might need to you take a rain check, or otherwise end one of your engagements with him early if needed. Is that okay with you?" he asked respectfully while studying Beserker.

Amelia decided to use this time to look for more clues around the area, while the authorities are looking for the vagrant mages she’ll try to discover the identities of the two Servants from last night. After a bit of looking around she found herself alone with Beast, even though now is a perfect time to talk she became hesitant, a bit afraid of what may happen.

“Um... Beast?” the blue haired woman called out softly. Feeling ashamed she avoided eye contact and looked down as she spoke, “I’m... sorry for running away earlier, I can’t ask you to forgive me but I’ll try hard to become a better Master.”

@Amelia Abendroth Martelli
Beast: Don't worry about it. Caution is the better part of valor, if you feel you aren't prepared to fight you should run, but in the future, you should try to get something out of your encounters with enemies even if you aren't intending to fight them.

you see that much of the damaged materials have large gashes in them, that appear to have been created by a sharp edge. You also note many burn, sear, and crush marks. (Insight to see what these mean.)

@Elizabeth Craig
Police officer: hugh oh, the family in this house hold was hit by the serial killer that's been going around lately. You haven't heard about it?

Avenger{whispers}: I don't sense any servants near by

Isamu beamed, "Excellent," he exclaimed with a pleases smile. "Unless there's anything else you wanna share, I'm going to reenforce the ward's and then grab some breakfast," he explained as he stood up from his chair and started towards the door. "Oh! And would you like something to be brought up? I understand Ghost Liners don't normally need to eat, but if you've got the munchies for something I can check if I can get you some," he offered politely from the door.

Elizabeth mentally answered Avenger ("Don't know if that's good or bad....could you start looking around while I question this guy? There could be other magical-traces, or something else useful.") but tried to keep appearances for her current source of information - that is, the officer. She affected a civilian-y worried expression. "No, I haven't heard about that. Um, what's going on? Should I be worried?"

Idaliseviel tilted her head to the side, "So you do admit you have some faults that need to be addressed. That's always a good start." She warmly smiled at the Servant before her before tapping her index finger on her chin, pondering. "Hmm, even if you believe you're "adequate" enough to deal with someone like me, what about all the other masters and their servants? Does something like that not concern you? I suppose we all start small and then grow into our expectations, but that's starting off a little bit low, don't you think?"

"And going after the "weakest" potential master as well? That's hitting below the belt, even if your master suggested to do something like that. Do you not have any sense of morals? Or would you rather follow your master's orders blindly, which I suppose is... alright for now. Considering you're adequate enough to deal with someone like me." The homunculus smiled at the servant.

@Elizabeth Craig
Police officer: I certainly am. There have been cases for the past few weeks. The killer kills everyone in the household. Women, children, animals. We can tell it's the same person, because the scenes are always a bloody mess. The only clue we have to go on is that the psychopath always uses old fashion European weapons, maces and ax's and stuff. Strange thing is he never takes any valuables... Well I have to take this report down to the station. Don't you go poking around in there.

@Idaliseviel von Einzbern
Servant: Insolence, my Master has never proposed such a cowardly strategy!

(you note this servant is more provoked by insults directed at his/her master)

8:15am-9am
"Okay, I'l talk to you later then; we still have a war to plan after all," he comments before leaving the room. The young Magus asks the first servant he can find to let his parents know of his delay, before hurrying over to his workshop inorder to secure and reenforce the wards; attempting to better oclude his Servants signature now that he was more familiar with it.

No notable figure had arrived other than Beserker, and his Servant abnormal calm led him to believe that this Caster was unlikely to narrow down their location any time soon; granted every second he could buy himself was worth the effort. For the time being their foe was only familiar with Beserkers presence, anything he could do to distort that would serve them well. For the time being his additions would hopeful better their chances until he could find a more permanent solution.

Beserker's refusal to share what he knew irked him, unable to take Caster's abilities into account he had little way of knowing if he was wasting his time regardless of how powerful he made the ward's. This was worsened by the fact that if Caster had told his master about Beserker they'd be at the top of their hit list; most likely striking at them as soon as opportunity presented itself. Just his luck really having to deal with a Caster this early in the war. Oh sure he had his own trump card for those types; but he'd never tried it against a foe of that scale before. He sincerely hoped Caster's master was either a coward, or too incompetent to make use of his Servants's full potential.

Isamu released a heavy sigh upon completing the complex task just before an odd idea struck him. It would certainly depend on the kind of man this master was; but perhaps it need not be so terribly inconvenient, he mused, lazily leaning back on a chair as he rested from his task. Both our servants are quite familiar with each others abilities; and they might be willing to postpone it if they had the chance to leave it for the closing act, He pondered as he grinned taking a liking to the idea, before sighing and heading down for breakfast. He was getting ahead of himself, it was a risky ploy, and anything that caused tension between Beserker and himself would prove troublesome; and then there was the master, who's abilities he knew even less about. Still, it was something to think about.

After grabbing the newspaper he proceeded down to the dining room; hoping his parents had gone ahead and he wouldn't have to explain himself just yet. If all went well, then he and Beserker would have quite an eventful day ahead.

Isamu

Thankfully, it seems your parents are still asleep, and should probably stay that way until after you leave--so long as you don't make too much of a mess. Aono, as was her habit when given the chance, had snuck down behind you, and was already in the kitchen. She timidly turned, and asked, "Hello. What'd you like for breakfast?"

Perception Check with the next post please

Isamu beamed, welcoming the delightful surprise and distraction from his pondering,"Well, good morning beautiful!" he greeted, leaning in and giving the young maiden a quick kiss. "Sleep well last night? Hope Beserker's little storm didn't keep you up," he inquired before heading over to the fridge, and picking up an apple. "Hmm, I'm in the mood for pancakes; how 'bout you?" chimed merrily Isamu, offering Aono fruit with his free hand.

Amelia gave a soft smile, unused such gentleness and kindness, Beast’s words had a profound effect on her as that bubbly feeling from the morning resurfaced. After a few moments the young woman caught herself staring at her Servant and quickly looked away blushing, “Thank you,” she mumbled quietly under her breath, whether Beast heard her or not did not matter.

The magus returned her focused to the surroundings, observing the havoc of the battlefield, perhaps she could make something of it.

Should've also asked for a insight check. For reference you got a 12., which won't penalise you any really.

Aono takes the apple from your hand deftly. She smiles and gives a quick "Thank you" before turning to pour pancake batter onto the hot griddle behind her.

The pancakes are ready in a few minutes. Aono serves you the perfect portion, and sits down cheerily to enjoy her breakfast. You know she would be open to conversation, but wouldn't be one to start it.

Isamu takes the time to look through the days news, giving Aono a warning about the apparent tampering with the city's water supply. Given the timing it was likely being done by another Magus; but to what end he was unsure, coupled with the string of murders he certainly had many things to look into. He was particularly distressed by one article, though after a moment quickly realizes how silly he's being and moves on without a second glance.

Once the food was ready, the young man said his thanks and dug in; though never being one to enjoy a quiet meal he soon tries to remedy it. "So, have you had a chance to run into Beserker yet?"

Imasu

"No I haven't," she quickly replied. "I thought it best to leave him alone--I wouldn't want to anger him. That would be quite upsetting. I wouldn't want my person to get between you two... I wouldn't be supporting you in the War then, would I?"

"Oh doubt you'd have to worry about that; Beserker is a surprisingly good-spirited fellow for his class. Sure he grunts and roars a lot, but he doesn't really seem that angry. Certainly doesn't seem to have a hair pin trigger for his temper, and I've yet to see him needlessly lash out at something; suppose we looked out that way. I got a good feeling about him," he explains before taking a few bites of his pancakes, toying with the sliced bits for a while with a downcast gaze.

Isamu wrestled with the words, and the urge to say them before giving up and playing the old song and dance. "While I do appreciate everything, and the risk all of you are putting yourselves through to help me; I-I still think it might be best of you all left me here by myself," he commented, the knowledge of Caster weighing heavily stirring up again those old feelings from conversations that he'd thought had been put to rest.

"You're all way to important too risk getting caught in the crossfire of this war; lord knows what the collateral damage in this fights are like, and depending on the servant my magecraft might be enough to keep you all safe. Honestly, I'd have better peace of mind if the three of you were far from Fuyuki. I care about you all, and I don't want to risk you all getting hurt because of my mistakes," he swiftly argued with a pleading look, before Aono could respond.

They'd all had this conversation before one way or another, they all wanted to do their part to help him win; but when what one holds dear is so fragile, could one blame him for being so persistent about this matter. Caster's presence of his mind merely served to aggravate those fears; presenting a plausible scenario in which they might just come true.

We all want you to be successful in this too, and if we don't support you when you're in danger, then what use are we?" Aono turns her head to the side, and pauses for a moment, with a worried look on her face. She takes a second to regain her composure, and resumes eating breakfast. However, you know that she wouldn't be comfortable talking more about that subject.

Craig

"What? No.... I've never seen anyone like that in my life. Who do you think you are, some private investigator or something? Leave this job to the professionals--don't expose yourself to any more danger than you have to." He obviously wants to be done talking to you, and turns away to shoo off some other onlookers.

The black-clad girl, her hair 'dyed' brown, finished climbing up the wall. The house was just up ahead--but she couldn't ruin everything now! They needed to use stealth! She turned around and put a finger up to her mouth to remind [her friend] of that too.

They crawled around to wall to sneak around the back, to be really sure that no one would see them (though the side entrance would be a lot easier). She looked both ways before jumping down (Like you do for crossing a street, da!) and suppressed the sound of their landing. Stealth really was so fun! She made sure [her friend] also got down without a problem, and then made her way to the back door.

Before going in to investigate, she wondered how [moon2] was doing.

Waver wasn't sure how a [REDACTED] could ever do that--she couldn't ever get sick, the [REDACTED] would see to that--but man, why did HE have to be the one babysitting? [Black] just came earlier, poked her head in, and left [moon2] standing there as she and [her friend] ran off all dressed in black... well, they usually were, but they looked TWICE as suspsicous as they normally do....

As the girl emptied the teapot, he went to make more.

Watcher: Though normally yes, [Black] would be her servant, this has been inhereted by [Black] by the usual way. Not that I would think you had any trouble knowing who I was referring to in the first place.

@Amelia Abendroth Martelli
From the way the debris is shaped you can tell both servants used bladed weapons. There are far too many slashing marks for only one sword. From their appearances last night, as well as Beast's senses, you know one has to be Berserker, and the other Caster. You can recall that Berserker's weapon was a DAIKATANA, roughly the size of his body. The marks that seem to be left by a blade that size appear to be smooth clean cuts as though the passed through with no resistance, but are wide and torn appart, as if the blade passed through the solid metal containers and ships like a knife through butter, and then they were blown apart by some internal force other than the blade. Perhaps the blade explosives after impact? On closer inspection the other slashes are much longer, shallower, and far more violent. Though they appear as if something violently lashed and slashed over the area multiple times, sawing through the materials as though with a jagged edge. Assuming this was Caster's doing, they could possibly be caused by some sort of long blade of wind, or maybe a flying saw blade?

???Servant: Did you find anything Interesting?

eh. [Black] should be [REDACTED]assuming that's who I think it is. they should meet later after event. because we don't want the NPC's to beat the game for the players. this still works but use [Green] instead. since [REDACTED] is staying with [white]and [Justice]

He just couldn't keep his mouth shut could he? An hour into the morning and he was already shoving his foot into his mouth. "I'm sorry; I-I shouldn't have," stumbled the young magus before sighing,"Thank you for sticking with me; especially for enduring my occasional relapse of foot-in-mouth disease," he joked with a smile, trying to lift the mood a bit after his latest blunder. They'd been together for so long, and yet he still screwed up like this. He made a note to ask his father for advice sometime; surely if anyone knew how to speak to a proper lady and act like good husband it be him.

With that lapse of judgement out of the way, Isamu continues devouring his meal; making attempts at polite conversation, and find out what Aono's plans for the day. He himself would most likely be dedicating himself to observation and preparations if the day went well.

Idaliseviel smiled at the mental note she just made towards the Servant. She made sure to glance periodically behind her to see her maids all alert, as well as mentally call towards Saber in case if he noticed anything odd between any of the men behind Harlow, Harlow himself, or his unknown servant. The maiden then nodded her head slowly, "Is that so? You awfully sound very sure of yourself, and such a loyal Servant you are!" She smiled brightly before continuing, "You trust Mr. Harlow very much, which is very admirable--although trusting him so much could be concerning in a way..." She trailed off for a moment before meeting eyes with the servant again.

"After all, if you never question his actions due to your blind loyalty, how could you know he's making the wises decisions? For all you know he could be making a grave mistake and putting himself into danger because of his rash decision making." The homunculus placed her hand on her cheek in concern, "Then he wouldn't be able to get the grail his family line has been fighting for after this long. How disappointing." She muttered. "Seems like your Master isn't as great of a man as you put him up to be."

Elizabeth's eyes widened in non-fake surprise; why so rude all of a sudden? More importantly, how to handle this little incident? "Sorry, I was just worried, seeing the scene so close to where I was going." She nodded politely and walked a bit away, smoothly slipping into a more tactical mindset. "Alright Do you recognize them? If not, a description, please. Do they look like they're trying to rob the place, or investigate, or what? And anything else you can think of. Also, if you could follow them, and look around the place while you're there."

"No no, its fine." Aono smiled. She... really was taking this well in a very genuine way.

For today she plans to clean up around the house and then go shopping for vegetables (since they need more carrots and onions for tonights dinner).

After that she plans on sewing a new dress for your mother, until she is going to fix dinner in the evening. "However," she adds, "if you want to contact me you know you always can."

Elizabeth cursed silently. She wasn't averse to breaking a few eggs if need be - or laws, for that matter - but entering a crime scene in broad daylight did not strike her as a good idea at all, especially one that she was, in point of fact, almost certainly connected to, at least tangentially. But really, what choice did she have? She would just have to minimize her contact with the area, try to leave minimal evidence of her intrusion. "Avenger, keep an eye out for me. I'm going in." And then she moved for the house.

Not really sure what checks are needed here.

Isamu

The magic in the water appears to be alchemical in nature, and it disperses the mana of whatever drinks it in into the surroundings. It is a very weak effect and would likely be resisted by any magi who drank it.

Isamu couldn't help but wonder why a magus would employ such a weak hex; it couldn't have been to target the other Master's given the how weak the curse seemed to be. He considered for a moment the possibility of them merely attempting to increase the saturation of prana in Fuyuki; perhaps as part of some larger scheme to effect Fuyuki's leylines perhaps?

As he sat down on his chair over looking the sample, he pondered what other uses such a ploy might have in the war.

Well crap.

You realise that this would slowly waste away most non-magi within a few days, without any obvious benefit to the caster.

This would lead to higher scrutiny of the war and the area, as it would be explicitly against the rules of the war, however. It also has put the civiallian authorities in quite the flurry.

Stealth, Perception and Initiative:
1d20 + 15 ⇒ (13) + 15 = 281d20 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 10 = 231d20 + 10 ⇒ (6) + 10 = 16

Amelia pondered for a while, these weapons surely shed some light on the Servant’s identities, however she still needed more information to be certain. The white Servant’s question caught her by surprise causing the young magus to jump.

The blue haired woman thought for a bit, wondering if it would be wise to share such information, but since the white Servant showed no signs of hostility or ill will the naive girl decided there would be no harm. As such Amelia shared the class and weapons of the two Servants to Beast and the mysterious Servant, hoping to get some input.

Well CRAP. >.>

You enter the house quite easily from an unlocked side door. The kitchen you enter into connects to a living room, one with three bodies you can see through the door. None of them would fit the description of anyone in the photograph.

In front of you steps a brown-haired girl, dressed in a long black drss with red eyes. Her features look Germanic in origin. She is closely examining the corpses and has not spotted you.

Another girl, also dressed in black, steps into the room. Her face is covered by her black hair.

Give me a perception check again, and a Magic Vs versus a passive effect. Also, limit your post to about two sentences of speech max.

Waver Velvet
10:10AM

Waver returned with the Tea, only to find the young girl had left. He wondered what that was all about.

Isamu grimaced. There really was no other plausible reason, unique ability of their servant not withstanding; and even then it was about as foolish a move as one could do in the war. Turning the church against them, and making them a primary target for local authority and revenge minded Magi. Granted, he couldn't eliminate the chance that it might be the work of some third party trying to target the Grail War participants by upping local security.

He sighed, for now it was best to leave this in the church's hands; if anyone would be equipped to deal with this, it'd be them. Though depending on how things progressed he might need to lend a hand. For the time being he stored the sample in case he found some other use for it later.

After verifying that there was little of note from his familiar for the moment; Isamu left his workshop and left in search of Beserker. It was time to make preparations for what was to come. Upon finding his servant and asking for permission, he attempted a new spell in hopes of better obfuscating his mythical accomplice. "Alright Beserker; I got a question for ya, do you have any other weapons or equipment other than your sword?" he inquired as he inspected his work. "I couldn't help but notice that we [redacted]; so I think I might be able to give ya an extra edge in a fight,"
