With that Noya and Mina leave the sitting Duck and after the two ladies are out of ear shot, you do hear the two men yell "OOww."
Laurel gets to them and looks them over
"You boys must have balls of steel to hold back the pain your feelin."
she quickly gives them a bit of medicine she had one her.
Hu Wang:

Duke gives his thanks
"Thanks, lady. You know stuff, I can already feel better."
Wu Chen watches the two ladies take off, then sits my her father to finish her meal.
"Why you not follow her, Father? You are quite catch! Choose you is wisest, if she want date."
The samurai replies to his daughter, "Maybe she doesn't want a date. Who knows?" Gesturing toward the meals, he adds, "All I know is that I detest the taste of cold eggs."
Laurel helps them the two men up
"You boys must of been raised without knowing proper manners,
it'll be hard on you boys to proper impress a lady with those bad manners."
She then returns to talk with Wu Chen and Kojima-San
"I take it you came in with Mr Kraft and those two men?"
Wu Chen replies, "I do not pay attention when Father do bodyguard work, though guard caravan is typical job Father take to help pay our way westward.
"I also help earn keep, am dress to dance for festival! But...
That Laurel has been extremely busy with a lot of very sick people is not lost on the girl. She decides to ask what is going on in this town.
"...we maybe take wrong turn? Seem like you and local cleric are very busy with sick and dying. Probably is not time or place to dress like rainbow and flip on street and bounce off many wall. I dance divinely, but seem this place is in dire situation.
"Maybe you can help me get fact straight, if is convenient to ask of you?"
The samurai clarifies whether he was protecting Kraft and/or traveling with the two idiots.
He then asks Laurel a direct question, to clarify his daughter's concern (and his concern for his daughter)--
"What my Daughter means is, what is happening that is keeping you so busy? I don't like to pry, but I do have a duty to keep my daughter safe."
Deldrin replies
"Now I know something has you spooked near the core of yourself,
you must of seen or heard something near or in those ruins to spark some of the change I'm seeing and hearing from you.
You can share your experience with me if you like,
who knows I might find something or know something about what you saw or heard."
then replies to Corindus's second part
"Laying roots and settling down in the Hollow,
your right in that it would be easy.
Especially if you really cheese off you know who."
Mr Kraft:

And that silver hammer, I think I know a buyer who'll be interested in it in Korhal."
Darion sizes up the asking price for the scrolls
”That seems a bit much for these scrolls, but I suppose considering the remoteness of this town, the price for the scrolls is fair. 28 gp each then and it is a deal”
Darion hands over the money and carefully stows away the scrolls. He turns back to Mr. Kraft and offers to sell the MW crossbow.
”What would you be willing to pay for this?”
He holds up the crossbow like it is a most prized possession knowing full well it’s value
Mr Kraft:

”170 gp! Come now a fine piece of equipment such as this? You and I both know that it is worth well over 300 gp, and you could easily sell it for that much or more. How about 275 gp. At that price you’ll get a good profit and I will feel as if I’ve been dealt with fairly”

"170gp is a reasonable price for it, as it is old and seems it needs some repairs.
You'd likely be offer 150gp in town at buy anyone else in town.

”Thanks for the offer Mr. Kraft, but I think I’ll keep it if that is all you’ll offer. We had to deal with some pretty crazy things in the ruins where we found this. Perhaps it is better used in my hands. Who knows it might save my life someday. After all that I’ve seen around here this will be very valuable. Good day.”

Laurel replies to the little one
"We just finished dealing with an outbreak or blackscour taint.
And were busy the last couple of days healing people and making the medicine."
Duke and Hu walk out of the Sitting Duck heading back to the in to recover some.
Kojima-San nods. "It seems as if my daughter will not be dancing and any ceremony. I don't suppose there is any need of a guard, so our apparent detour is not a total loss."
Wu Chen blushes at her choice of outfit, and adds, "Perhaps is best I change to outfit. Next time those two warrior woman see me, they see I am warrior girl!"
The girl waits for Laurel to respond to her father (and also, makes sure to clean up her olate!) before excusing herself from the table to go change.
Laurel replies
"I don't need a guard, but I do recommend being careful as not every in town is a good person."
Kinshara is surprised to hear that news of the Man in Blue has travelled outside of the area. "That is interesting, Luk. Where did you hear about the Man in Blue earlier? My experience is limited and my work only begun, but I thought his apperances were a local phenomenon. Have you heard anything of the Lady in Red as well? We encountered her while out in the forest and she seems to be connected to the Man in Blue somehow."
Kinshara greets Lord Loksly when he enters. "Welcome to Falcon's Hollow. It isn't much, but this place does need help it seems. Luk and I were just discussing our findings. Would you like to join us?"
Luk:

He replies with interest and curiosity
"As I said before, I learned of the Man in Blue from one of the reports from Lady Cirthana that arrived a month an a half ago.
If one only looks at this moment many would say it is local, but when on looks through the lens of history it is not so.
He has appeared before in other areas of the world and records of him are scarce, along with the Lady in Red.
And now the Lady in Red is here as well, this could be either bad or good.

"It's a pleasure to meet you.
From what I'm hearing it is a topic that I would be of little help.
As I am new to town I find it wise to learn more about it before I say and do something that might cheese off the locals."
He asks Lady Cirthana to help him learn more about the town.

"Sorry I can't guide you around town as I do have reports and other paper work to finish.
But I should be able to answer simple questions as I work."

"I am grateful my lady, I'm help you with your work as well."
Both Lady Cirthana and Lord Locksly walk into her office to do work.
"As you might have heard from my discussion with Lady Cirthana, we entered a set of ruins in order to find the ingredients for the cure that our town healer, Laurel, needed. Both the Man in Blue and the Lady in Red warned us against awakening an evil that slept below the ruins. Given what happened there, I fear we may have done just that despite our caution."
Darion spends several hours of his time copying his new spells into his spell book in a quite place within the Kirk.
Then all at once it hits him that the dwarven book might be of some value to the man Luk. He said that he was a church archivist perhaps he’d know more about the book. Or perhaps he would pay top dollar for it.
He decides to go find the man and in the least show him the book
Kinshara fills in Luk, about the Message from the Man in Blue,
The Dream of the Past with the Lady in Red,
the dream with the Demoness wearing Black and Silver,
the Ruins with the statues,
and the events at the old monastery.
Wu Chen decides her dancing attire is not appropriate for a place with so many sick ones being pried from the jaws of death while she eats...
Looking like a fashionable young warrior, Wu Chen ventures outdoors (with her father close behind). When Dad asks Daughter where she wants to go, she thinks a moment.
"I wish to pray for Mother."
They head to the local church (the whereabouts of which Kojima-San asks of, if he and Wu Chen didn't already know).
As Wu Chen giddily walks the streets, she does a couple moves--

--but she believes she would please a crowd if anyone was paying attention.
She wonders if the lady dressed like a monk will be praying, but she does not tell her father that. Is silly thing to think. What I expect happen if adult lady talk to me? Anyway, Mother, your Sacred Touch follow me everywhere.
I am not motherless, the girl tells herself.
After Darion Enters the Kirk and finds Kinshara and Luk still talking, though now sitting in the Kirk's pews.
He approaches with the book in hand.
Luk:
Luk sees Darion and the book in his hand and asks
"And How may I help you sir."
Darion responds to Luk by revealing the book and says ”I heard you say you were an archivist for the church. This book is a rare religious text, so I thought you might be interested in looking it over”
Luk:
He takes the book and quickly looks it over
"I'll give you 500 gp for this book,
as it is still in really good condition and we only have one copy that is in bad condition in the archives."
”That sounds like quite a deal, but would you mind telling me what magical properties it has first”
Luk:
He takes the book and quickly looks it over
"I'll show you after you sell it, and there is a reason for it."
”Very well. 500 gp then”
Darion allows the book to be taken by the man
Luk:
"The reason I needed the book first is because I might damage it."
He takes the book and moves to the back and very carefully spreads to stuck pages a part, and he finds a folded scroll.

"This is not a spell for a wizard, but for one of the cloth.
And given the way the dwarven text is written on this scroll it is also very old and worth putting in the archives"
And little Wu Chen enters the Kirk and sees Kinshara, Darion, and Luk talking.
Wu Chen notices there are people inside, and guesses she's not interrupting anything (such as a service to the temple's deity) that would make her presence seem rude.
Taking in her surroundings (statues, symbols), the girl wonders, Who they worship here?
Wu chen quickly learns this is a Kirk of Iomedae.
Darion thanks Luk for the information about the book and the payment for it
”Well Luk I thank you for the information and I’ll put this gold to good use. Also if we come across more sacred texts perhaps I will bring them to you. Anything in particular that I should be looking out for?
Darion goes to visit Lady Cirthana before leaving the Kirk
”My Lady my apologies for before in putting you in an awkward situation. It was not my intention. I just wanted to get to know you better.”
Darion tries his hardest not to look disappointed about before then he adds
”Here Mr Luk was quite generous in paying me fo a rare religious text I found consider this a tithe”
Darion hands Cirthana a large sack of 100 gold pieces and then turns and leaves the Kirk. Upon his way out he smiles at the young woman that just walked in and is looking all bewildered
Wu Chen smiles back at the man, but is too shy to respond to yet another adult who seems very busy!
She sits at a pew next to a dark skinned woman , and decides the stranger is a church lady so her father probably won't object to her introducing herself.
"I am Wu Chen," she says rather boldly, not preceding with an 'excuse me' or a 'hi.'
So what, you are Wu Chen? Cannot leave it at that; otherwise, are just silly little girl to this woman. You speak already, so do not clam up. Give REAL introduction.
Feeling compelled to say more, she goes on, "I am nun from Tiān Xià, training to serve Eternal Maiden Shelyn since age of nine. I apologize if my Western Tongue is strange to you. I put best effort learning Tongue of Dragon, but I also study little bit on Western faith.
"Is apparent, we are in temple of Iomedae, goddess of Valor and Justice. I think She will not mind if I pray for soul of Mother in Her house of worship.
"Is She your Goddess, or do you also pray to somebody else?"
Lady Cirthana replies to Darion
"It's not a problem Darion, I hope that opportunity comes for you.
I thank you for the tithe and I'm sure Luk will be making a back up copy of the book when he gets the chance."

"If you find any old books scrolls or other forms of text, I'd be willing to check them and buy them if they have value or are documents that should be archived."
Just as Darion leaves the Kirk he runs into Vona.
Vona presents the cloak that Darion gave her early.
