Thomas is able to unlock the chains above his head with no issue leaving the ones at his feet still intact. The lock appears to be similar for the rest of the locks and your sure you could easily duplicate the process on the rest.

As the guards come in Cyx begins to rattle his chains mimicing an escape attempt like he is trying to wriggle free of his bonds.

Brilliant Thomas. He thought to himself as he picked up the tools and headed to his chains, tucking them in his trouser line, with the daggers, behind his back. Quickly, he tried to make it look like he was still changed.

The guards hasten inside and take one look at the prisoners. "Quiet down in here or we will summon the sergeant!" The second guard takes a quick look around the prisoners with his hooded lantern.

He closes the lantern and slaps his buddy, "Come on, its almost time for the shift change, I don't want to be late for the game!"
The first guard nods and they make there way out, locking the guard post door and resuming their station.

Steinki watches Thomas come over to him and start to work on the chains. As his hands are freed, he helps to catch the manacles and softly set them against the wall so they don't clank a warning to the guards. As Thomas goes to work on his feet, he smiles thinking of the opportunity to strike against these Mitran fools and show the might and cleverness of Asmodeus.
Is that good enough on the feet? Not sure of the DC on these.

To speed things up, we will say that Thomas Glint has freed everyone with little incident. He did clank some chains together at one point, drawing a sharp hiss from the group.
The door to your cell remains closed. Upon examination of the lock it appears to be in better quality then the chains. No Familiarity Bonus

The lockpick scrapes upon the lock and breaks, creating an ear shattering screetch that is heard throughtout the cell. The sound causes you all to cringe. The door is clearly busted and is unlocked.
Loud laughter is overheard from the guard post signalling the shift change, it seems that Desna smiled upon you that the guards were distracted.
