Upon picking at the image of a dagger, the thread easily comes loose from the veil and the thread quickly transforms into a dagger. The dagger appears to be of decent quality and has been recently sharpened.

Ah, this'll come in handy. The young rogue thought to himself. So if that's a dagger, that means these might be... Thomas picked at the emblem of what he thought to be a certain set of tools.

Thomas is able to unlock the chains above his head with no issue leaving the ones at his feet still intact. The lock appears to be similar for the rest of the locks and your sure you could easily duplicate the process on the rest.

That's what makes the Birthmark trait such a great one for games like this where you start off with no (or very little) equipment. You can use your birthmark as a Divine Focus.

After unlocking the shackles, Thomas listened to see if there were any guards coming. Not hearing anything, he continued to unlock his leg shackles.

Hearing the sound of the soft clink of metal on metal, Steinki shifts his attention to the human working on the chains next to him. A thin smile cuts through rugged features as first one and then another set of the shackles falls free.

After removing the shackles, Thomas moves over to the priestess and attempts to free her.

IF Thomas lets her have it, Rosa will pick at the sign of Asmodeus, lets hope its a holy symbol, if it is she will take it and hand the vale back to Thomas, she will hide it under her grags and then place her Chains back to look like she is still locked up, should they guards look in shes hoping they will see nothing amiss until Thomas has done his art and they are all free

He hands the veil over, but not before taking the other dagger out of the veil and tucking it away at his belt line, along with the other one. After that, he proceeded to unlock the Sorceress.

Cyx remains quiet not wanting to draw attention the activities

As the guards come in Cyx begins to rattle his chains mimicing an escape attempt like he is trying to wriggle free of his bonds.

Brilliant Thomas. He thought to himself as he picked up the tools and headed to his chains, tucking them in his trouser line, with the daggers, behind his back. Quickly, he tried to make it look like he was still changed.

Since her chains are still secure, Ember starts twisting about in hers, making them clink as she tries to duplicate the sound that Glint caused. Can't have them trying to look at his chains, hope I can get their attention on me...


Only person free is Thomas, everyone else is chained up

Picking up on what the others are doing, Steinki begins rattling his chains too, hoping to trick the guards about who may be free.

The guards hasten inside and take one look at the prisoners. "Quiet down in here or we will summon the sergeant!" The second guard takes a quick look around the prisoners with his hooded lantern.

He closes the lantern and slaps his buddy, "Come on, its almost time for the shift change, I don't want to be late for the game!"

The first guard nods and they make there way out, locking the guard post door and resuming their station.

Thomas lets out a long, silent breathe. Could you have cut it any closer? Quietly slipping out of his 'locked' restraints, the young rogue attempts to free Ember once more.

Hope the guards aren't paying attention. Lol.

That get's Ember's hands free, but you need to roll two disable device rolls for every character as they have two different locks to pick. Feet and hands

Rosa undoes her maniacal's and walks over slowly and quietly to the door, pleasing her hear to it, so as to here if any one is coming will Thomas works. If there is a shift change she wants to hear it.

Thomas seemed to barely touch the manacles holding Ember's feet, when they unfastened. The young man proceeded onto the Dwarf.

Steinki watches Thomas come over to him and start to work on the chains. As his hands are freed, he helps to catch the manacles and softly set them against the wall so they don't clank a warning to the guards. As Thomas goes to work on his feet, he smiles thinking of the opportunity to strike against these Mitran fools and show the might and cleverness of Asmodeus.
Is that good enough on the feet? Not sure of the DC on these.


To speed things up, we will say that Thomas Glint has freed everyone with little incident. He did clank some chains together at one point, drawing a sharp hiss from the group.

The door to your cell remains closed. Upon examination of the lock it appears to be in better quality then the chains. No Familiarity Bonus

After freeing everyone, and looking at the door lock, Thomas whispers, "This may take a bit." He then proceed to attempt to unlock the door.

Disable Device: 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 7 + 2 = 16


The lockpick scrapes upon the lock and breaks, creating an ear shattering screetch that is heard throughtout the cell. The sound causes you all to cringe. The door is clearly busted and is unlocked.

Loud laughter is overheard from the guard post signalling the shift change, it seems that Desna smiled upon you that the guards were distracted.
