With 4 melee already do yall think it wise to go conjuration and put even more onto the field? As of now my guy is a buff/debuff/go invis and summon critters guy..

I could go transmutation and be more buff/debuff/save or suck..

As far as level, I am hoping for an endgame of mid-high level. 14-18 ish level range. I level based on storyline, upcoming battles, landmark spots of the plot, etc.

Im still considering going conjuration just not focusing on summoning and more battlefield control.. I have an 18th level transmuter wizard in pfs so im not sure i wanna do the same thing again..

I agree Illusion has its strong points, but i think there mostly geared towards lower level.. Once you reach mid level see invis/trueseeing start to tear down alot of what Illusion has going..

Divivnation is good for Initiative and thats about it.. Dont get me wrong going first is nice, but i think id rather have con bump or mini teleports at my fingertips..

After debating im going to stick to conjuration but will not be focuing on summon spells.. Im not saying i wont use them from time to time, esp at higher levels, but the focus will be on sos and battlefield control.. Will have ample buffs for group as well..

Question GM, when its comes to spells do i need to pay scroll price per spell past free level ones, or is it possible to pay a spellbook rental/something similiar from where he came from to get extra spells?


I will let you have an extra 1d3+1 of each spell level as spells found while adventuring/fellow wizard. Cost is simply to add to your book. After that is will be scroll + scribe cost. Sound fair? You roll or me?

on a separate note, trying to use Wulfgar as support also, I see four options against the Jinn this next round for Wulfgar: charge into combat, move forward and heal someone, cast enlarge person on Balthe or use summon monster III, any ideas/help?

The way I understand it, if you get hit you contract it. There is no way to successively save against it, however you can "fight" it off. The only way to 100% get rid of it is to do the remove curse then disease route.

If you can give me an FAQ that states otherwise, I am always up for learning more :)

It has a save I made the save. Nothing in mummy rot says you automatically get it. Just like bestow curse has a save. The curse only takes effect if you fail the save. The CR would be way higher if it was auto, not to mention an automatic death sentence to a low level character hit once and fleeing.

From curses to poisons to diseases, there are a number of afflictions that can affect a creature. While each of these afflictions has a different effect, they all function using the same basic system. All afflictions grant a saving throw when they are contracted. If successful, the creature does not suffer from the affliction and does not need to make any further rolls. If the saving throw is a failure, the creature falls victim to the affliction and must deal with its effects.

Nils, I was mistake, looking back through posts Balthe no longer needs his Amulet of NA + 1 since he is using the + 2 version now, so Wulfgar offered it to Nils so his armor would be 21 instead of 20, assuming he wants it.

OK, leveled up.

Same classes. Decided to be a bit quirky on the mythic power and took mythic climb, so I have a climb speed (30) and +30 on climb checks. Now I can simply scurry along walls if I like. Possibly not great, but novel at least. Also got mythic power attack.

Feat was heavy armor proficiency since I've been tanking in light armor for too damned long. Need to pick up some real armor.

Ok updated.. Feat was Greater Spell Pen, Mythic feat was Spell Focus, and Path Ability was Eldritch Breach. Chose Archmage obviously with Wild Arcana.. Bonus feat from bloodline was Improved Initiative..

I didn't see any choices which grabbed me. At low tier, champion choices are fairly blah. I don't have any applicable feats to be worth making mythic other than power attack, so it was going to be something less than stellar no matter what and I didn't want to do sustenance again (though that one has really come in handy on my guy that has it).


Your group has 12K to divide or pool as you see fit to upgrade yourselves.

Think I already spent some on a strength belt.

However if I can take that back, given the leveling, I'd rather cash in my chain shirt and pick up some full plate +1 and a cloak of protection.

1650+1000+1000 = 3650 so I have a bit of change.

Yea i spent mine to i forgot lol.. As far as path abilities better than climb master, how bout flash of rage, impossible speed, or mythic rage. Extra mythic feat or Pierce the darkness from universal are decent as well.. Any are better than climber.. I personally would prob go with flashbof rage or mythic rage..

Looked at those and to be honest neither was all the appealing. I don't much care for abilities which require the use of a surge.

I also looked at pierce the darkness, which was tempting, but I think this one will be more fun.

Honestly, I'm playing a mythic gestalt character, I don't need to powergame.
