Chaul here. I've not updated my CS yet though.

@Revvy: Thanks for that. I did try the copy and paste thing a few times. I just realized it might be the browser I'm using (SeaMonkey instead of Chromium). I just tried it on SeaMonkey, and that didn't work. I'll try it again on Chromium at some point just to make sure that's what's amiss.
Anyway...

Standard Operating Procedure.
I'm guessing we would have Sera or Chaul at the front, as they have the best AC. Doors checked by someone hopefully with trapfinding..

Trapfinding? And by that you mean my reach weapon, right?
Right?

Right! Thanks.
Added that to my big list of Acronyms.
There's just so many the little grey cells can handle!

Gunnar should likely stand in the first row adjacent to SEra as both have reach weapons and Combat Reflexes.
We didn't really utilize this as a tactic last level as everyone was just rushing the enemy constantly but maybe we can be a bit more patient this time around :).
Also once he buffs himself Gunnars AC is really good and it starts at 20 so that's pertty decent...

If the two with reach weapons are in the front row... that would mean the rest of the party wouldn't be able to attack.
Fully agree with best AC at the front though, Chaul is not really a melee build, so happy for him to be further back, but that is likely to limit the aid it can provide in a confined melee.

If the two with Reach are in the front row that means opponents need to get past them and eat extra AoO while giving all us spellcasters time to cast buffs. Not sure how that's a problem...

If needed i can be infront. Im set up to be a damage dealer so the sooner i hit the more it hurts.
Also i say we go back to B1 and clear south before moving to the rest. Novid would like leaving the first door he sees unchecked.
Also Revvy can you switch me icon to Novid?

Sympathy. I have a cracked tooth that I go in for next week, with a chance I may need that too. Yay.

![]() |

I had my wisdom teeth out a few years ago. I'd been told several times earlier by various dentists round the world it would need to happen at some stage.
It started with a regular appointment.
"ok, ok, umm,, ohhh...
First sign of bad times to come, you dentist says "oh.."
"Do you have medical insurance"
Okay, that was the second bad sign.
"I don't think I can fix this."
Not quite heart attack material, but not good. Especially as my regular dentist is a specialist cosmetic one. I've had her since she graduated and been with her all the way through her career which is kind of cool.
She referred me to the right type of specialist who I told I wanted a general. He told me how much the general would cost and I kind of decided I wasn't quite that much of a wimp. I went for happy drugs, and they were good. Hopefully this won't be anything like as major.

:/ I'm sorry guys. I've been traveling back and forth between various colleges on the East Coast to make my final decision as to where I want to live for the next four years and right now found a bit of free time.

You can get oversized (and I assume undersized as well..but not sure why you'd want those) (melee?) weapons in PFS (It was a bit of a surprise for me when I found out)...but the pregen barbarian also does it..basically you get a -2 penalty to hit for increased damage dice.
So as long as your wielding a bastard sword in 2 hands it's a martial weapon and inquisitors can wield it
...at least that's what I think is going on

![]() |

Its a one handed weapon that does a d10 you can buy any 1 handed weapon as a weapon that is one size category bigger but then its a two handed weapon. and this one does a 2d8 and you take a penalty on using it. The Pregen Amiri uses the same large bastard sword. And its my deities favored weapon.

Bastard sword is one of the sweet spots for large weapons. Typically -2 to hit and +3.5 to damage. Kind of like power attack for free.

No day job for Chaul :-(

Zova Lex |

I would like to, and now that I am officially enrolled into college, I will actually have time ^_^
But I think I will end up buying two of those land boons after this adventure is over.

![]() |

I think you can only get one land boon at a time can;t you?
Though I was wondering how that would work if you can only get one per adventure and you level up with each dungeon level, that would limit you to around ten, and it seems it was designed for more than that.
Chaul will probably stay on as well.

![]() |

There are 16 dungeon levels btw, so if you buy one each chronicle you get them all. (You need to do a couple of them at slow progression to be able to do all of them, so you will end up being lvl 11 or something)
I can't find that you can only buy one plot at a time, only that each chronicle/boon allows you to buy only one. It makes sense to buy them when you get access to them...but it doesn't seem to be written like that, as far as I can tell right now you can go back later and buy land as long as you have the chronicles for it

![]() |

@Novid; I think I can find your Society number from my last time reporting, but I will need to know what number character Novid is since you switched him out for Quartz since last time.
Also my other table didn't have enough people to continue with part 3, so I promised some of the people who wanted to continue that they could join you guys, so if they are still interested in joining, you are getting a party expansion

PFS 37010-5
Gunnar would like to continue as well.
I have to read up on the rebuilding rules a bit as I'm not really feeling the growth domain and reach weapon so I'd prolly want to retrain my domain choice as well as one of my feats. I'll have to figure out if I can afford doing so first however.

My bad on the description. I was thinking of the one per chronicle.
I'd kind of assumed with 16 dungeon levels, that the bottom few would be scaled for characters of level 12-16 - which would be difficult for PFS characters to manage (although you are right about the slow progression technically letting them)
