In general Chaul as with any spellcaster, botting is hard.
He is primarily a healer, and will channel to heal if there are multiple injured pathfinders, excluding others.
If there are undead or outsiders around, he will also channel to harm.

He often moves up to flank to provide assistance for the more martial characters.
If no healing is required, and he is not in melee, he will often start off with a spiritual hammer to get some damage starting up. Especially useful vs incorporeal creatures.
