Yeah. Not always planned. I did 10 hours of plumbing crap show on Saturday, and on Sunday I had to tear down a fence before the game, as well as a commitment immediately after. On top of that I transitioned from working till midnight to a 6 am start.
Sorry for missing a day without warning.
Ok, cool. I was just wondering because PbP is slow. People unable t opost makes it downright glacial. :) They don't give you a day between wild shift changes like that to help you adjust?

Hi Guys.
Just a friendly reminder the expectation is posting at least once a day. We've fallen off that. RP between yourselves or do some character building.
Always be pushing.
Brand - Last post 4 days ago.
Amelia- Last post 2 days ago.
Maitreya - Last Post, um, April 20th. Can that be right?

perhaps Brand now knows better than to assume she needs help moving around? locking arms might not have been the best idea.
I'm sure she doesn't want to come across as needing help, but I'm hoping she has a very low CHA score lol, cause socially speaking that was overboard.

I think the novelty has worn off, and with fewer and fewer people playing, the impetus to get that post out there, is just not as urgent.
I too have been hella busy recently, and will continue to be until the end of June.
I can understand busy. I'm wearing many hats these days as well (full time work, three kids at home, time with wife, etc.). I find it takes 5 minutes or less to post so I have been able to find the time.
Less people actually ups the ante, rather than the opposite. Noone is carrying you. You have more chance to shine as well.
I can't make you engage yourself. That's up to you. Depends what you play for I guess. What you get out of playing.
If this isn't it, let me know what's missing and we'll do more of that. It's your game after all.
Thanks.

You misread my meaning... I mean that with both Richard and Kevin gone, its not as much fun.

GM_Arrule |

Oh, ok. Thanks for clearing that up.
It's regrettable that Kevin and Rich decided to leave, for sure. The game is better with them.
Rich simply has too many irons in the fire right now. Kevin's issue is a bit harder to quantify.
Hopefully, either or both can rejoin our game at some point.
Here's hoping.

All of the above. The posts shaming people for not posting don't help either.
Not trying to shame people, just trying to understand. Sorry if it comes off that way. That was not my intent.
If I don't ask these kinds of questions, how can I know?
Thanks for getting back to me.

Punkrockster |

I don't think its shaming, its a legitimate question. Takes me 5-10 minutes max, sure I have internet at work, but half the time I do it from home. I don't see why 5 minutes cant be spared daily if you enjoy it?
and ah yeah, you took the time to post on this twice over two days, but not on the gameplay thread? and days and some cases weeks without posts does deserve some frustration for those that want to post daily and enjoy it.

GM_Arrule |

Uh huh. I will refrain from getting in the way of your fun and resign then. Enjoy.
Interesting reaction. I'm guessing kind of opposite of that Jesse intended.
So...with Brian out, I am declaring the game over, which saddens me.
It is really too bad it didn't work out as I had high hopes for it.
Thanks for all of your posts and time, guys. I thoroughly enjoyed the extra creativity and world building I was able to put in to help bring Arrule more to life.
P.S. Brian, maybe you could email me later with a run down of what worked and didn't work for you. Maybe Jesse and D could too so my next project can be better.
Thanks again.
