Brand is actually what grew from the seed, a blend of young, brash human and immortal forest spirit.

Should be interesting to see him, 'grow'.

Hey Kevin. Just checking the character sheets.

Based on the point buy, your stats must be STR: 14 DEX: 16 CON: 13 INT: 14 WIS: 15 CHA: 10 after you apply youe tengu racial modifiers. I assumed the 4th and 8th stat gains went to Dexterity so that works out to STR: 14 DEX: 18 CON: 13 INT: 14 WIS: 15 CHA: 10. Exactly what you posted. Good job.

Change your initiative to +4 for the 18 Dexterity, rather than +5 though.

Where does your AC come from? +4 Dex, what else?

Just double checking your point buy.Assuming the human +2 and level 4 and 8 bumps go to Intelligence, your stats are STR: 8 DEX: 15 CON: 14 INT: 21 WIS: 12 CHA: 10 before boosting intems.

This seems out of whack with your Int of 24. +2 Circlet and what else? Can you double check your numbers?

I think I just did, :). As per the character creation rules, 25 point buy. You actually got smarter.

My cha was 12, and if you want point buy I would take the lvl 8bump out of my dex and put it in INT Don't worry about it. I will tweak her. I kind of wanted to change my equipment anyway

Here's an oldie but a goodie. You all met up, thought joining forces was an excellent idea, and found yourself neck deep in adventure.

Do things really need to be more hashed out than that?

I'm more concerned with what is going to happen next than what has already happened. That's yesterday's news.

Brian would Amelia have even mentioned Anton at all to us?

I ask because since Brand has the old fair vale charter, he would have put the pieces together that Anton was in the fair vale five with Arc. He would have probably asked you about Anton to see if you knew anything about his father.
it'd be a good tie line RP wise.

I see we already started... the gameplay never gave me an update of new messages, so I hadn't noticed. Anyway, they cancelled work today at 10, so finishing up now.

The Fairvale Five did not officially exist with a charter until we had the year-long break, when the survivors made it official and did the whole 'lets make five-pointed star badges' thing. Unless memory has faded...


Anton was still around when we ordered the badges. The 'event' happened after.

We made the charter before heading out the first time because we needed one to get quests.

Then our first quest we got teleported to the south and Arc died and Zalus died and Jotun died.

You picked up Reigar who came back with you to fairvale, then he sent the raw materials off to make the silver hand thingys.

Then we went out on an adventure and he died. Then Sephtis came in and Anton died. By the time we came back no one alive remembered the silver hands things lol

So Brand does have Arc's original copy of the Fairvale charter, given to each member. So unless brunt still has his, its the only surviving copy.

well it'd be nice to RP Brand and the charter. See how Amelia reacts to Anton's name being mentioned alongside Arc's. Brand is actively looking for the fair vale five.

Why is Amelia listed as an NPC under Characters... are there a bunch of settings the forum owner can see?


If you want to rp talking about the fairvale five, then talk about the fair ale five. Just do it when it makes sense in the game. If Amelia doesn't react she doesn't react, that's role playing too.

Yes.

My idea was to originally live in a part of Arrule far far away. Being a monk, and drawing on ideas tied deeply into eastern philosophy, Asian flavouring makes the most sense.

Since not everybody has deigned to share their character sheet with the rest of us, can we at least say we've been travelling with each other to know a few things?

-Sight: Please list if you have dark-vision, low-light vision, or what light source you normally use. Nyx makes heavy use of darkness, but I don't want to blind the party either.

-Any immunities or resistances you have... I don't want to waste my high-level spells trying to protect somebody that doesn't need it (Deathward for example).

-Any 'standard' kinds of combat actions our characters would know not to interfere with.

-Anything else you think is important that everybody know?

Amelia can and does cast the dark vision spell regularly. She also likes to be invisible. Haste happens fairly commonly and she can give flight to others.

-Darkvision out to 60 feet, blind beyond that point. Can create light sources if needed by others, generally doesn't use it otherwise.

-N/A

-Nyx operates in melee combat. Though not a front-line fighter by any stretch, she does not always need to have opponents kept away either.

-I have lots of my own healing, won't normally need other's.

My character will be shared as soon as I fix a couple things I did wrong. For now though; I do have blind fighting, which doesn't mean I love to be plunged into darkness . I do not have the traditional dark vision of most aasimar have. Replaced it with an alternate trait. Ironically I went the other way from you guys, I manifest a halo, which is like casting light at will, and can cast daylight once a day.

I have the racial resistance to acid cold and electricity, but it's only 5
