Welcome to the Discussion page. I don't believe I need to explain the use of this page. You're welcome to post all off topic conversations, questions, etc. here.

Before we begin, each character will of course require an alias and a completed character sheet. I will number crunch them all quickly (to avoid mistakes down the line.)

As mentioned, the adventure will start at 1st level and will finish around 12th level.

I will be using the fast track, since online campaigns have an unfortunate tendency to die out when length becomes an issue.

A reminder that all options (for now) need to come from the Core Rulebook or Advanced Player's Guide except for Traits.

As the campaign continues I will most likely introduce new material in the form of recovered items, spellbooks and tomes detailing new methods of warfare and skill (unlocking new Feats).

I tend to prewrite adventures in shorthand notes ahead of time, but I can make changes depending on how the group and adventure plays out.

A final note: I don't expect more than 1 post per day. If you ever need to absent yourself simply inform me on Discussion, as I will do the same if need be.

Was double checking my spell book load out and noticed I had ear piercing scream which is from ultimate magic and not allowed so I swapped it out for the Alarm spell.

I was actually away from my home at a Scout's Winter Camp.

I DO post on weekends as well and we seem to have lost our Bard, though slow site traffic may have caused this.

We will begin tomorrow (29th Feb). In the meantime, I wish you all a pleasant Sunday and I am glad to have a fine looking team.

Worse case, check each other's sheets out and get a general idea of what each of your roles will end up being.

Telthes is your typical sword and board Paladin with a variety of weapons including a shortbow, once he has the money he will upgrade his armour and get a composite longbow and 2 Handed weapon to give him better options.

Rennec is going to be a crowd control buff/debuff wizard. I plan on getting craft wondrous item asap and maybe the craft magic arms and armour feat if it's desired for helping upgrade people's stuff. I have also spec'd craft alchemy to be pretty high so that I can make stuff if needed.

My plans for combat are to cast enlarge person or grease if needed, otherwise I'll just shoot with the light crossbow/acid dart as I can. I also plan on waiting until at least round 2 to cast personal buffs like Mage armour, unless I'm ambushed, until I am a higher level that I can just cast them outside combat.

Still finishing off my sheet will be done for tmrw. Apologies been a crazy weekend. Celebnen is more of the close melee type mixing in light weapon attacks and throwing daggers. His purpose is not fame or fortune it is revenge.

He'll be especially focusing in on acrobatics but will be more than capable in other rogue skills (i.e, disable, trap finding)

Character is good to go. He'll be using a elven curved blade and daggers. He won't be going toe to toe with many opponents that is more for Telthes and Re'Tulan.

For GM he will be much like the Leper class in Darkest Dungeon. Can hit heavy but can be hit just as heavily (obviously minus the self heal hehe)

Do we know what kind of dragon Garagun is? The story feat a picked has different effects based on what types of dragons I fight depending on Garaguns.

So far its a bit simplistic, but decent. I like the premise, but it seems like the Order could use a bit more fleshing out. I assume you are speeding up things a lot due to the PbP format, which is understandable.

It works for me. Seems open ended so it will be interesting to see where this goes.


I am definitely speeding things up. Expect the fluff to come in throughout the adventure.

As I've said, I can only manage a post or two a day, and at this speed, I find it better to move the pace forward so as to make sure the campaign comes to a conclusion.

what is the punishment for theft around here?


Good question. Generally speaking, theft, when brought up in court usually ends up with prison time, ranging from 6 months to 2 years depending on the value of goods stolen.

A monetary compensation can also be required.

I actually hadn't come up with this before you asked, and as far as I know, Golarion doesn't have a "set of laws" section for the regions so I am winging it. I'll look into setting up a "laws of the area" if you're interested.

That would be handy. Telthes would try to follow the law for dealing with criminals and the like. Of course if they try to kill him, things probably won't go as well for them.


On that note, as Knights of the Order, you have some measure of authority and are recognized as lawkeepers. Just like real world peacekeepers, excessive actions could result in repercussions.

In this case, the men are clearly attacking you so you are within your rights to defend yourselves.

We roll for HP, right?


We roll indeed. Any roll that's lower than half is turned into half. So if you have d8 of hp, you'll have a minimum of 4.

Also, my apologies for the delays. A lot of stuff came up. I'm going to have to postpone this until tomorrow afternoon/evening.

In the meantime, how comfortable is everyone with the Slots so far? I find it speeds up combat, makes things much simpler to track but at the cost of specificity. Any comments or improvement ideas?

I am starting to grow fond of them. If we don't have maps it makes combat much more simpler. Is a good idea.

The slots simplifies things for the most part and I assume we will wing it for the strategic positioning (i.e., flanking).
