Eventually the entire group joins Ronaef at Delbin's devices.

When asked if she has any magic items the woman asks Are you looking for anything in particular, also how much gold you have?

The party leaves Delbin's Devices, not seeing any short sticky looking objects there (or we can roleplay that encounter out, but it didn't seem like anyone is interested).

You're aware of two main temples in town, the House of Abadar, a trading outpost and Shrine of the Seven Rose, a temple of Shelyn.

Which do you guys go to?

Cassandra ponders on visiting both.

Though Desna is the patron deity of adventurers, the rogue she is doesn't mind praying for fortune.

"I wouldn't mind having a look around in Abadar's church, but what of you?", she asks the other three.

"Lets go to the Temple trading house, it stands to reason as the most likely to have what we want"

As you enter you see multiple people engaged in haggling,trading, and counting merchandise. One woman looks over your group Yes adventurers. What have you come seeking? She then quickly turns her attention back to what she was counting or examining before.

Haughty and proud Ronaef steps forward and proclaims "We seek magical forms of healing or the assistance of a priest that may wish to aid the town"

She looks up again, You and every other adventurer. 825 gold fot a fully charged wand,or 165 gold for a scroll with six xharges. She again returns to her task.

"Do we have enough for a wand?"

You had 1300 gold as a party, you could easily purchase the wand and still have some left over for a few minor purchases (nothing major has been purchased except the traded items so far.

Cassandra nods.

"I think so, i mean the reward was enough to cover our current expenses."

"Yes, and we must have one."

So Ronaef buys a wand of cure light wounds if he can, aided by whoever has a skill that will help with the price if they can.

"I'll have a wand of curing please"

Ronaef then gathers the required monies from the party members and pays the nice cleric of Abadar.

Just need someone to roll the diplomacy that Ronaef is requesting and then we'll conclude the healing stick purchase

Nat makes a gesture that resembles tracing out a cresent moon, and says a phrase in elven, followed by, "I think that would be, uh, Blessings of the Moon, in Taldane. So, that's my faith blessing yours."

I'm guessing you guys will be heading to the kobolds? Do you want to use the tunnel that was pointed out to you?

Seems logical a choice.

"Anything else we need? food let's buy provisions and then be off to the kobold lair"

I'll add the wand to my inventory. Do we have much money left?

It looks like 539 gold remains after the purchases made

"Should we shop any more, or save the rest? I'd like to see about getting a new shield, maybe, or a new backpack..."

She thinks for a bit. "We should also look around, see if there's anyone who knows about the area, and might know something about the kobolds, or any other odd jobs we might be able to do. If adventuring pays this well all the time, I could get to enjoy it."

"Best plan i've heard yet Natulcien, who should we talk to then?

"An inn is a common for rumors. The guards might have heard of something too."

The party heads to the The Wise Piper. Talia welcomes you and asks if you need anything?

There are 5 other scattered humans in the bar eating at the moment.

With regards to diplomacy to gather info, can I take 20 if I keep at it and talk to everyone in the tavern? Otherwise I'll take 10 for 17. Looking for information about people in the town who might need the help of adventurers, also information about the kobolds, the baroness, and anything else that might be useful.

Nat asks around at the bar about kobolds, the baroness, and other rumors.

She then adds If you want to know about the baroness you might ask Bassy. They say Bassy’s the oldest person in town, but how can that be? She looks like she’s a child! They say her grandmother was a friend of Lady Belhaim.

"Who's Bassy? Is she a halfling like myself?"

"Braggom help little Nat talk to people. Braggom smile nice."

Halfling with the 'childlike' trait perhaps.

"She might be a gnome then. Is there any particular about her, that we should be aware of? Like aversion to humans..which i've seen before...or some other quirk."

Talia responds "No she is quite friendly, like myself"

Nat nods in agreement, and thanks Talia.

Heading to this Bassy person.

The group heads up the road to a smaller home that is nicely kept. Who knocks :) ?

Cassandra lets Ronaef take the lead at the door of 'strange Bassy'

You knock at the door. You hear a faint high-pitched female voice say "Coming". A small gnomish woman with purple hair with green streaks in it opens the door and says You're not from around here, and the harvest is over... Who might you be?

I knew it, a gnome.

"Hello we are helping the baroness with several things that need to be done around the town and we were wondering if there was anything of significance that you would know about the town history that would help us to make things better around here. We help specifically via magical and physical means"

She replies Interesting.... What are you helping the baroness with around town?

Nat chuckles, "Don't folks usually tell their names, too? I'm Nat and we were checking out that ruined tower that just fell down, you see, but we now have a job to do regarding kobolds. Seems there's some of them in some caves down below, and the baroness wants them gone. Ever heard of them being around here?"

Kobolds... not for a long time... Perhaps you'd like to come in and have some tea She invites you into her home.

Cassandra nods appreciative, before gesturing Ronaef to take the lead, as he'd been the first to talk.

"Why thankyou.. Ronaef enters and looks for a nice place to sit down... "

The gnome's modest home contains an entry way and a sitting room with larger furniture, obviously for entertaining human sized guess. Please sit, i'll just put some tea on she calls as she hurries through a much smaller door that you'd have to squeeze through. She returns in a few moments, stating the tea will be a few minutes.

She then says Kobold's haven't been heard of around here since the age of the Dragon Plague years. What were they doing with the collapsed tower? Did they bring it down? If so why?
