"I said yes take us to Nighttail"
Male Human Barbarian 2, HP 23, Init +1, Perception +1 AC 16/11/15 Rage 8/day (AC 14/11/13, STR and CON +4, HP 2*HD=27 , WILL +2)
"Chance for fight? Braggom say 'yes'."
Male Human Expert 3
The kobolds lead you up throw some narrow winding caves. Along the way they say Don't step in this space... walk like us You uncomfortably squeeze through a tiny alcove filled with rubble, when you follow their direction.
Eventually you see a mound of what appears to be rotten vegetables, fruit, and excrement sits heaped in the middle of the room. A bulging leather sack rests atop the mound of garbage. Inside the mound is a bound and lashed kobold with something written in draconic next to her. As she sees you she squirms and moves in her bindings. She has bindings on her legs, her arms, and her snout.
The kobolds say This is her, Nighttail... Chief no like her
"So the two of them had conflict over the tower. She lost and by that your custom is to bind them like that?"
Speaking of bag & tag.
Male Human Expert 3
The mound squirms more.
She always fighting with Chief. She made him too angry this time. Most of us didn't think tower was such a good idea, but chief said to...
"How many would you say support this chief? The majority, or less than half?"
Male
I step up to nighttail and undo/cut her bindings and free her from her confines while saying
Male Human Expert 3
She wiggles free and starts talking, "Thank you! Thank you! thank you!" She picks up the leather sack from the mound of refuse and brushes it and herself off.
“Hey! You look like you’re changing things ‘round here! I’ve suffered enough at Chief Roaghaz’s stupid whims. I’ll help you! You help me get rid of him, I can promise you we'll never bother humans anymore."
"To answer your question, Nobody supports a dead chief, I can tell you that much"
She starts cleaning off some kobold sized leather armor, and begins putting it on, she also digs out a sharp looking wooden spear from the pile.
Are any of you obviously wounded?

Nat is hobbling along using her club as a walking stick since she can't ride Demii, by the way.

"You have tamed terror lizard? Very impressive," Nat allows grudgingly.
"Why are you and Roaghaz enemies? What has he done besides ally with the mad mage who knocked down the tower? Does he have friends, strong friends who will aid him?"
Male Human Expert 3
After the other kobolds return to their bunks to await the downfall of Roaghaz you speak more with Nighttail. Came here about 1 year ago. My tribe was slaughtered by heartless murdering gnomes... Came here, and Roaghaz was in charge. He makes bad decisions all the time, and if I'm in charge, we will all do better.
Everyone can make a sense motive check on that

Braggom jumps down, landing in a pool of brackish water. As he does so, a kobolds eyes go wide in surprise. It head is narrowly missed by a large greatsword. As he dodges that attack, he shouts something in draconic.
A tiger nimbly scales the walls down. In the next few seconds the tiger and Braggom both maul the lone kobold to unconsciousness or worse if you'd prefer
I figured I'd skip a combat with a lone kobold. How do our adventurer's respond to his shout?

"It said ready the snappers... maybe a trap or defense.. maybe crocodiles.."

"Braggom prepare. If Braggom see snapper, Braggom hit snapper. Everybody else come down now."
"Agreed, that sounds like crocodiles, other reptilians possibly?
Taking into consideration the fact, that they keep a dinosaur as a pet, it could even be something worse than a crocodile."
Male Human Expert 3
Hey! Hak is a good boy Nighttail scratches him behind the ear and he lets out a deep purr in appreciation.
"I wasn't saying anything about the personality of your saurian pet. Merely referring to the possibility of worse things than crocodiles."
Cassandra looks at the others, then back at the kobold.
"Any idea as to the possibility of traps ahead?"
Male Human Expert 3
I don't know what they have. I can only tell you they've never messed with Hak or I. They would have regretted that. I'm not sure of any traps immediately ahead. Nighttail replies.
"Hmm...pity i don't see in lesser lighting, or i could have checked for any. Very well, what sort of traps do you usually set for intruders?"

Demii sniffs around, trying to smell out kobolds, as Nat gets back up on his back, and uses her wand to heal both of them.
