I don't know if you looked too closely at the background, but I have him as friendly with 2 of the named NPCs from the Player's Guide- both of the historian/archaeologist types, Hastings and Beys. Let me know if this is cool with you, and if so, if there's any information you added to their blurbs in the PG Jordy should know.

Hi all. I wanted to go ahead and check in. I have been lurking and waiting to hear from DireMerc about my race selection. I build this guy as an aquatic elf initially but have offered to change him to a regular elf if we had too many aquatic subtypes for DireMerc's liking. I think everyone else has checked in but I have been waiting to hear from our GM on race before posting.


Yeah go ahead and keep the aquatic elf. That will give us two water breathers and that will be fine.

No problem Vinnick. And I am not a rules lawyer but your mage hand spell can likely not even pick up an oar. 5 lb limit. So even if it can it can not really row.

I know, Its more of a "its slowly pushing it" sorta thing. It basically wouldn't count as a rower. sort of a "look, I'm totally helping" thing.

So Vinnick's detect magic result is before we finish exploring the building? If so and he mentions it Quleth would remain rather than going for supplies, assuming Vinnick mentions it.

One of my games that has been running for many years is short a player. It's currently lv 10. I'd prefer someone willing to take over an existing character that has stopped playing (you can rebuilt the character just keep the same name/backstory) but if you want to introduce someone new I'm willing to consider it.

Players you could take over include:

Arkanost the gnome sorcerer 10 who likes to tinker with machines and artifices.

Bleyz oni-spawn Tiefling monk 10 (currently affected by a powerful artifact that cost him and arm but gave him the ability to manipulate earth and stone).

Archren the Kyton-Spawn tiefling synthesis summoner 10.
