Lendaro's bullet punches through the core of the middle scrapbot. It seems to be knocked back for a second before resetting its posture.

Uran blasts an arm off of one of the scrapyard robots.

Linpul's grenade arcs and falls by the monstrous Hellion. It flashes for a moment in place.
The grenade will explode at the start of Linpul's turn-which is right after the enemy turn.

Actually, since Thera's AC was 24 (as printed in my last post due to prebuffing received), those attacks missed, so Thera should still be at full health. Not sure if this impacts on Solaria's move but its there if it helps.

Believe it or not, blinded and grappled both apply penalties. So blinded removes any dexterity modifier to AC as it becomes flat-footed, grappled gives it a -4 to dexterity. If the penalty to dex drops it below 10 dexterity it would still be considered flat footed just takes an additional penalty. Blinded also gives it a -4 on str and dex based checks (not sure if grapple applies to that). It also takes a -2 penalty to AC from being blind because being blind does that to you. On top of all that if the thing tries to attack you while Tetsuda is grappled, Hellion will be taking an additional -2 to attack rolls (from grapple) and has a 50% miss chance... In theory he could slip on the maintain grapple check and accidentally let Tetsuda go.

"A spell of remove curse should suffice. Or something stronger if you are capable of such a thing. Then I can leave this realm behind." Zagmaander recovers herself from the explosion, and rejoins the party.


Now that Hellion is defeated, what does the party do next? Do you spend time in Scrapwall helping the gangs, or go back to Torch, or do something else?

Solaria is staying in the room for the next hour after the battle, so you have plenty of time to search and discuss what to do. After the hour is up, Solaria will get assurance from Zaagmander to leave this plane immediately and then cast Remove Curse

The party finds nothing of value in Hellion's chambers.

After Solaria casts Remove Curse on Zagmaander, her broken flesh knits and the curse is gone. The Xill smiles and stretches, dropping her laser torch and mithril bracers to the ground. She retreats into the shadows and disappears.

The party heads back up to see the assembled gangs, Redtooth's Raiders, the Steel Hawks and Dinvaya flanked by a pair of Brigh-golems.

"Congratulations. What should we do now? Have a party? Redtooth says with a grin on her face.
