"Very well. I will mark where the bird was spotted on a map, and you may approach Badwater from there."

Redfang heads to another room in High Home and allows you to handle your business.

----

Heading in a roundabout manner, you head into the woods north of Iadenveigh. Trees surround you and the soft call of a bird breaks the stillness. Bits of metal are scattered on the ground.

Making sure to be careful, Sarainy tries to silently move toward one of the pieces of metal - the closest to where they are first spotted.

Carefully lowering to her knees, ensuring she does not disturb it, Sarainy examines the metal in details.

Sarainy sees a bit of metal shaped like of feather. It was likely part of some small bird. The other fragments are also feathers.

Walking back to the group, just as carefully as before, Sarainy states "Metallic feathers. Must be from the robot bird that Redtooth said was seen around Iadenveigh. If it's trying to deliver the message the Doctor translated, perhaps we can convince it to parley?"

She bites her lip, "Not that I'd want to put you into danger, good Doctor."

"Metallic feathers? Skymetal is a bit too heavy to make anything like that, maybe mithral, but I dunno. Well yeah, robots can look pretty sophisticated, but I think we might be dealing with something... more natural or supernatural rather than artificial. I mean, the last thing we ran into was a giant bear with tentacles, and last I checked there were no gears or anything in it. What if it originated from well, not here?"

It appears to be a very simple construction from the pieces that you can see, Linpul. You are not sure how it could fly without sophisticated technology, or magic.

I just realised that when I remade Sarainy adamantine arrows were never repurchased... opse!

Sarainy takes a moment to channel more magic into her celestial song, which weaves and dances through the air, outside Solaria's zone of silence.

"Pretty tough these things!" she says, "I wonder how it fares against fire."

Sarainy lets fly an arrow from her flaming shortbow, before stringing another and sending it loose towards the robot.

Okay, can't flank it conventionally, how big is this thing? And would Overwhelm bypass the all around vision? I can change my most recent teamwork feat as a standard action, meaning Pack Attack. Although all around vision just says cannot be flanked, so it probably wouldn't work.
