Mara's ready, just wanted to give others a chance to have a say on whether we attack the wamps, and tactics.

Casting Haste on the party in the Surprise Round.
Then she flew forward and cast a spell, covering four of the horrible creatures in thick, sticky mud. "Alright wamps, the buffet is closed!
Casting Slowing Mud (DC 21 Fortitude)
"You coat the targets in thick, sticky mud. The mud acts as a slow spell and also blinds the targets. A creature can use a standard action to remove the mud from its eyes or the eyes of an adjacent creature, ending the blinded condition for that individual. Removing enough mud to end the slow effect is a full-round action. Jumping into a lake or being subject to an effect that creates a lot of water (such as create water or hydraulic push) removes all the mud in 1 round."
The blinding effect won't do anything, but hopefully the Slow Effect will.
| Dervak |
Dervak uses his surprise round action to close with a wamp (thanks to Haste), and then his first round action to Rage (+4 Str) and full-attack it.
The Vorpal Scimitar crackles with Dervak's arcane power as it slashes at the creature, but it fails to find a neck.

Killa croc mauls the wamp holding onto it with his crooked teeth. Death roll doesn’t trigger unless its already grappling when it goes to make a grapple check, but that doesn’t matter because. Kat stabs the wamp repeatedly, her spear guiding her strikes so that it doesn’t hit anything vital, but she quickly runs out of non-vital areas. "I wish I could do more to help. Perhaps I'll come across something in my travels."
After bidding them goodbye, she willed herself to wake up from the dream. She told her friends, "I know it might sound strange, but I feel bad for those ghouls and ghasts. Something terrible happened to their city, and they're left with memories of their former lives, and everything that they've lost. They seemed like decent people who suffered a great calamity."
