No worries :P
I'm actually pretty satisfied with the pace this has been moving forward at. Order of things has been changed but meh-
As long as everyone is having fun :P

DavianGrallus |
Also, @Ikoma- I will rule that the weapon is a relatively improvised weapon to use as a blunt weapon.
-2 to attack, instead of -4. because it is a katana after all :P

Shalewen- The miss was not for you. I rolled a 1d8 because even with your light, you could not see as far as you wanted to shoot the arrow.
The miss was for my dear Rokkad.

Shalewen |

Okay but:
Light - "This spell causes a touched object to glow like a torch, shedding normal light in a 20-foot radius from the point touched, and increasing the light level for an additional 20 feet by one step, up to normal light (darkness becomes dim light, and dim light becomes normal light). In an area of normal or bright light, this spell has no effect. The effect is immobile, but it can be cast on a movable object."
The dim light circle is way too big (supposed to be 20', not 40') and the arrow went way too far. I was aiming for overlapping dim light zones. That should, by the wording above, mean normal light in the overlap. Hard to conceptualize but I was trying to make it easier for the humans.

DavianGrallus |
Oh now I see. It sounded as if you were trying to simply stretch the dim light.
Ok- I'll retcon that for the rest of this and will readjust tonight.
That's also a lot smaller of a radius, especially vs. the Torch.
Given that, you might actually have even been able to see where you were shooting.... Let me play with it tonight and figure it out :P

Just so everyone knows, it is all your turn again, though no knew enemies can be seen yet. (Only heard somewhere else in the cave)
On another note, I think this is a good time for me to bring up my rule on arrows, since one of those are a light source.
Normally, from what I've seen and read, arrows are *not* retrievable. You cannot shoot one at a skeleton and then legolas style take it out and use it as a dagger, or another arrow, for the next enemy.
However, in this case, until it has been shot at an enemy, I would say that Shalewen's Arrow of Light that she has shot could be picked up and shot again.
I'm pretty easy going with things like this just to keep the game moving forward, and it makes sense that you'd be able to retrieve an arrow shot at a AC 5 block of mud so that you can reuse it.

Depending on posts and returning to work this monday for you folks, expect me to post back on Monday Night / Tuesday morning, depending on what the group has said up to that point.
If everyone is simply moving forward through the cave, feel free to just post here, or a leading post in the gameplay thread :P

DavianGrallus |
Post in a minute here, also, I'm pretty sure I can port your actual PbP pictures onto the map, that way you all finally have your real pictures / tokens to play with.
Wooh, progress!

DavianGrallus |
Ok, I hate to delay anymore, but now putting the enemies in, please align yourselves on the map. My own fault for not showing you everything as it should have been, but now that you can see the enemies, please line up at or behind the line how you would be.
They have first turn, no surprise round on either side, regular lighting / normal light, so feel free to have at it.
Actual combat post tomorrow morning or tonight so long as everyone ok's their position.
Side note: everything is regular terrain except the water- that is difficult terrain through the squares.

DavianGrallus |
Rokkad!
Kokip and You did both hit. I apologize for missing that. It seems I skipped that description after botting Ikoma and the other attacks.
Damage was minimal and mostly absorbed.
Shalewen- Though your character does not know this, they are Mudra Skeletons formatted to the Jade Regent setting.
I call them a medieval helicopter :P

Rokkad |

I'm a bit confused, DavianGrallus. Your post sounds like you thought Rokkad was attacking a skeleton. He was trying to cast a touch spell on Kokip, and I wasn't sure if he could just hit automatically since his eidolon wouldn't be dodging him or if he would have to roll to see if he hit since Kokip was in combat.
So did Rokkad miss Kokip and is still holding the charge for his spell?

DavianGrallus |
Ooooooh, I see now. I assumed, and that's what happens. Luckily if it was an enemy, it was a miss regardless, but depending on the spell, you have no need to roll to touch.
Was it a boost of some sort?

DavianGrallus |
Oh yeah, spells like that for any ally, unless they have some sort of "I hate magic" roleplay, always works, no need to roll a touch of any kind.
I included the magic fang in the attacks It almost killed both skeletons in one turn :P

DavianGrallus |
NP Mitsuko-
I was wondering if she would probably strike with a bow or sword.
I'll keep safe distance with a bow for now.
Thank you for letting me know <3

DavianGrallus |
I am sorry for my absence. Business has been booming, and with the boss out and people calling off, I've had to unexpectantly cover at least 30 hours this week. I'm copying and pasting this to all my games- I apologize. With call offs, I had no ahead of time knowledge.
Things should be straight by Monday hopefully.

DavianGrallus |
Yeh. I get frustrated now and again when real life interrupts, but only because I have a blast GM'ing this game.
Let's aim for me, and all of us, to be back on track by this time tomorrow. I should be able to post tonight.
Dropped quite a few of my games due to the workload as well, that should also help.

DavianGrallus |
Ikoma- you are raised up by Arieys CLW she had just cast just AFTER you had been cut down last turn by the Samurai, so in this round, you are up already.

DavianGrallus |
I am waiting on Ikoma, Shalewen and Shadow for this round, and Arieys.
If no post on Monday, I will full bot, as we are so close to moving on :P
After that, we will reconvene with how everyone is doing so far. I know me being absent for almost a week because of work did not help things. Time to revitalize.
